Everytime I try to «save as» a PDF document on which I have put some comments, it crashes and I lose everything. I have restarted my computer (I'm on windows 10) and I have the latest version of acrobat reader DC (I checked already). I have also already «fixed the installation». What can I do so that it stops doing that?Thank you

I have Acrobat X and am working on a project for a client. He wants to digitize his customer records, which consist of handwritten customer information on paper. He plans on scanning 20-30 pages at a time over a period of a month or two. Most of the papers are formatted with 8 different customers' information written in 2 columns and 4 rows, at about the same area on each page. He wants to split the customers on each page into separate PDF or image files, so that I or my coworker can key in each customer individually into his accounting software. Is there a way in Acrobat or 3rd party software to split up a single page in this manner? Is there a way to automate this process? Thanks in advance.
I know that the standard highlight function will not highlight a scanned document. Sometimes when I click the same highlight tool that I've pinned to the toolbar, I get a small round circle instead of the bar. The circle is like a fat marker, and I'm able to highlight freehand, anywhere on the page even if is a scanned document, and I have NOT run the text recognition. I can't find answer as to why it will do that this time but not next time. It seems random.
I'm creating a document that requires the social security number of an employee. I'm using the special format category in the form field that's specific to the social security number. On another portion of the PDF, there is a field that requires only the last 4 numbers of the SS#. Can I create a field that pulls the numbers from the first field?
Does anyone know a fix for the issue with opening PDF in IE11. I am using Adobe Acrobat XI

I am working with a file that has numerous comments. The summary of those comments are displayed in mixed order of those comments. Is there a way to "sort" the numbers per comment so it is sequential. If not, what are the suggestions on creating a summary of comments in PDF file so it sorts in order?Thank you!
When I generate the "Summary" of comments and the picture is displayed with lines connecting the area of the image that I am commenting on the lines don't align with where the comment is assigned to. Is there an Adobe setting to move the lines to be in place of the comments / section?
When trying to install any of my Acrobat disks/versions the printer fails to set up in a 64-bit environment. The rest of Acrobat loads properly but when I go to save a file, convert, or print to PDF format I get an error message that the printer cannot be found. This starts on installation when I get an error message that the PDF driver cannot be installed. It happens on versions 7, 8 and X.I need to replace the computer at work and it will be a 64-bit machine. Has this problem been fixed or do I need to find a generic PDF program?
Is there a way to make the font of user-entered text consistent? Specifically, the text a user enters into a text box.
Hi all and thank you so much in advance for reading this!We have a large number of PDF files that we would like to bate stamp all together. Total about 800,000 pages combined.Files are stored in about 400 folders, each folder have 3-20 pdfs inside. Our goal is to have the following:Page numbers will run from 1-800,000The bates stamping on each page should be:The folder name + The PDF file name + the numberHow do we do that as a batch process instead of a manual which will take forever....We use Acrobat PRO DC - I know how to use the bates stamping tool, but I didn't see anyway for the tool to "pull" out the folder name and the file name and add them to the bate stamping as a prefix. Thanks again guys.
Downloaded Acrobat Pro DC and installed most recent update this morning on a PC with Windows 10. No problems. Plugged in my writing tablet to mark up a document, a box indicating accessibility features should be turned on poped up, in a rush, clicked ok. All text of document converted to some very-difficult-to-read font. Cannot revert document to original format. Googled for a solution—couldn't find one. Tried to re-install, program hung at 100% then got error message saying the install failed. Any idea what gives here?
My daughter's computer crashed and I'm trying to reinstall Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium on my Dell T7910 dual processor. Payload: (AC76BA86-1040-7D70-000000000005ERROR: Install MSI payload failed with error: 1603.What may the problem be? Thank you.Giovannig.a.giordano@efitalia.net
Hello,I’m preparing a PDF that maps from a database. Could I get assistance in creating a script to do the following: A single text-field that could display info from two hidden fields. Depending on user selection, the Text Field displays one or the other. Perhaps a script that copies info from one hidden field if the second is null and visa versa?I'm using Adobe Acrobat DC. Thank you!Eddie
I have a similar problem where I have old hard drives with my Adobe Acrobat on them that have crashed and now when trying to install the program again on this hard drive I continue to get a message that tells me I need a program and serial number to install on this computer. If I am being to vague a reply asking for more necessary information would be helpful.
