We need to disable document cloud and outlook email email client content manipulation for all users - and is here is no way to administratively accomplish this that I know of. Its ridiculous. This feature is enables withour regard for any customer controls or compliance requirements and there should be a way to control it.
How about a reasonable discount for retiree's and seniors. Adobe already offer substantial discounts to students & teachers, why not seniors? I'm sure there are many people who would take advantage of a discounted subdcription to start a new hobby, or be able to continue with one that they enjoy.
While using illustration, the height and width values of the object are shown as 5779.558mm. It's actually a much smaller object. This causes odd alignment when using alignment.
InDesign 19.4Mac OS 12.4 When using a the "Share for Review" for an .indd document (that's also part of an .indd book) containing multiple links to other PDFs, the link is not being retained. It creates a link, but then it vanishes and doesn't give the "Update Content" option when new changes have been made. It should be maintaining the link so "Update Content" can be selected as changes are made without creating an all new link each time.
I have been experiencing sync issues with my CC Libraries. I have tried all the help from Abobe website support nothing helps at all. This is the first time I have had this issue.
Concerning Creative Cloud Desktop App Version 6.3.0.2027, Creative Cloud libraryPlattform and OS version are irrelevant, because according to the Adobe Support this feature isn't available (see case ID E-001292939)If one administers Adobe users in a large scale environment and want to make the corporate colours available to all Creative Cloud users assigning the library on a per user basis is not a feasable option. It would be preferable to assign the library to user groups, especially if the group members change frequently. Also this would nicely complement the Adobe User Synchronisation Tool. Users should only have the right to use the color swatches, not to edit them. So far large scale IT environments have to resort to their software distribution tools to provide corporate color swatches within a reasonable amount of time. This would be an improvement for Enterprise customers.
After a horrible experience this morning trying to find a fix for the "Something went wrong initializing Creative Cloud Libraries" issue and finally reconnecting... I now notice that all my CC Libraries panel settings have been reset, AND the thumbnails no longer support transparency. This is particularly concerning when assets have a white color fill because the thumbnail just appears as a blank white box, instead of showing the graphic over a mid-gray background. Please bring back transparency in the CC Libraries panel thumbnails!
I would like to adjust the standard materials, for example the opacity, roughness or base color, and then save them in my library so that I can apply these settings to several objects. I've been looking for a long time but haven't found a way yet. Maybe one of you can help me.
I'm not sure when this update or bug occured, but Adobe library asset previews are almost useless for white graphics now that the asset's underlying white artboard is always rendered in the side panel. Reaching for one of 10 different white logos or avatars is guesswork at best. As a long time Adobe CC Libraries truther, this has not always been the case and it's extremely frustrating not to be able to clearly see what asset I would have otherwise been able to quickly snag. I use Illustrator 2024 (28.5) the most, but this is occuring on all of my (up to date) Adobe software.MBP 2021 M1 Max, 64GB, 2TB SSD I've tried some of the "workarounds" to click in and "edit" or re-save the assets or change the transparency grid but those obviously do not work. I love Adobe Libraries and trying to convince coworkers to adopt this great workflow while this glaring issue persists is almost impossible. Fix this please!
Can't drag and drop assets into Library with MacStudio and Photoshop 2024. So dissapointing and so incredivbly time consuming to have to do it from layers...one at a time. And, over the decades I have gone in and out of Adobe products, I am so sick and tired of "them" wanting to delete preferences or provide screen shots and video, which is just added work, as if my time is not worth much. ADOBE, test your product better. This should not be a problem and it is. FIX THE LIBRARY ONCE AND FOR ALL, or I am just going to do everything with Luminar.
I have had this problem for months now and am finally to the point where I might get a new PC because I can't find a fix. I have tried all the suggested work arounds and nothing has worked. I have tried the more information on solutuions multiple times and all the suggested fixes on youtube and have had no success. I have downloaded and reinstalled everything and it worked for about 5 mins then it disappeared and went back to the error screen. It does not matter the program I open the libraries in the all show the same error. This issue popped up out of no where in March. My PC is an older gaming PC but everything should be up to date enough for the adobe services. Below are most of the fixes I triedhttps://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-libraries-panel-doesn-t-load-in-desktop-products.html?mv=product&mv2=accc https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/libraries-panel-not-working.html
Hi, We have been experiencing an issue with CC Libraries that seems to have coincided with the latest CC Library update (4.5). Our business uses InDesign 2015 (due to the workflow system that we are using), and recently we are not able to use the CC Libraries panel in InDesign - the panel can be displayed, however it is completely blank and isn't functional. Newer versions of InDesign don't appear to be displaying the same issue however - the CC Libraries panel appears ok there (InDesign 2021 and 2022). So issue seems to be limited to 2015. Some users in the business who are not experiencing this issue have an older version of CC Library installed (likely they haven't updated Creative Cloud recently). This appears to be a bug introduced with CC Library 4.5 that affects older versions of InDesign. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks,Scott
As far as I can tell there's no way to disable the large white messages that pop up in the Library panel, other than closing the panel! Some people may find these useful but I find them an annoyance, especially when I'm try to record a screencast. Please get rid of these or at least provide a preference.
Why is there no local database version? In fact, CC libraries are basically not used.It is very inconvenient to turn on the document to open the file every time the panel is turned off and get the file. There should be a local library panel. You can add all the library files here, but you do n’t need to keep the link. When you need it, choose a certain one to choose a certain one. Just a library.CC libraries do not have to be because I always feel that it needs to be connected to the network, affecting my software speed.
I use Adobe Illustrator as an example.Create an RGB color R 166, G 255, B 51 in an sRGB document and add the swatch to a CC Library.Change your RGB color settings to Wide Gamut RGB and create a new document.Use the swatch from the CC library, the result is a totally different color. The color in the CC library does not have a profile attached, only the numbers are used and no conversion or warning takes place.

In a DVD menu you can click a button to start any movie. We don't make DVDs by now, time goes on and we move on to e.g. mp4.In digital files, such as mp4, we want create a start title with, say, 3 of more items with a startbutton. I want to find the possibility to be able to start any (linked) part of the movie of your choice from a menu in an mp4 (or other, like .mov) export.Maybe something like a link from the start menu to a point in the movie, just like DVDs used to do in Encore. I asked the helpdesk how to do this: is (still) not possible, maybe a new possibility?Rob de Groot - Amerstudio -- Nieuw-Vennep NL
Edit feature for Character and Paragraph Styles in the CC library. In the CC library, if a graphic standards change, you can easily right-click on a Color or Graphic in the Library and choose Edit to update that item and it will update all documents using that CC library automatically. Can you please extend this functionality to the Character and Paragraph Styles You now have to go through every document and manually apply a new Character Style which defeats the purpose of the Library.
When you go to the search feature and enter information (Ie. My libraires are set up by Pantone color number). When i go to search a number to see how many swatches of that same color i have it tells me none! When i know for a fact there are many in there. Please have this fixed ASAP or maybe someone can help me fix this with a temporary fix. This is a daily use for me working for a print company.
I can only find the comment tools online in the browser version. I would be helpful to have it in the program menu.

I then renamed the file to "rename-test" and then dragged it into both an InDesign file and a blank illustrator file, and I noticed that the listed name says "rename-test" in the Libraries window in both apps, but the actual link name is still listed as "Artwork 1.ai". Why doesn't it show up as "rename-test.ai" in the Link window? Thanks for your help on this.Ai Screenshot showing default name in Library window as "Artwork 1.ai" Ai screenshot showing renamed file InDesign screenshot showing the actual link is still listed as "Artwork 1.ai", but file in Library window says "rename-test"
It is helpful to know if people have reviewed the link I've sent them. Sometimes I can't tell if a client has even looked at the reviewed item unless they comment on it. Please add a view count to the Review Links view in Adobe Creative Cloud.
a support guy tried to help for an hour and nothing worked so adobe needs to make 22$ worth something without us having to fix the problems
To keep color consistent between projects, the colors in a CC Library need to have a profile attached. Now they are just numbers and give a different color impression in documents with different color profiles. Suppose you are a company famous for soft drinks with a red brand colour. You want that color consistently represented on web, tv, print, film, packaging. The current CC library color will give a different result for all these representations of the brand color. I mentioned this many years ago at UserVoice, but see it now listed as an Idea. This is not an Idea, it is a BUG. https://community.adobe.com/t5/adobe-collaboration-experiences-ideas/colors-are-not-color-managed-in-cc-libraries/idi-p/14212625
I opened the Libraries hoping that the problem was finally solved, but it's sadly not. I'm attaching two screenshots with the vector I uploaded a few moments ago. This also happens with old files that I already have in my library for more than two years... Eveything is broken, it's a hit and miss... Examples:Left: Vectors, no background. Transparency grid to show it (Shift+Cmd+D).Right: Library panel with the same vectors with that white background that I never added.
