Some assests in my CC Library appear with a white background, and because of that white graphics are not visible at all. I've tried several workarounds found on the Community forums like a) opening the asset with Edit, making an adjustment (group and ungroup) and hitting Save, and b) placing a PDF and making sure options are for having a transparent background, and after that reimporting graphics to CC Library, but nothing has helped. I use InDesign 19.5 most of the time, but it's the same working in Illustrator 28.7.1 as well. I work with M1 MacBook Air and macOS Ventura 13.6.9. What takes? Why do some of my assets have white backgrounds and some don't?
Anyone else noticing the library tab in photoshop always glitching?
I would like to suggest that you add the ability to see file sizes, while browsing files I have stored in creative cloud as a way to filter the files. When I am attempting clean up my Library, it would be helpful to be able to see the sizes without having to open the files in the applications because sometimes that takes a bit of time for them to download and it would be more efficient for my workflow to not have to open them.
In Adobe Stock, it'd be great if the download file was named with its number and the associated title. This is important so we can more easily find the correct file in our downloads without opening it. This will also help us keep assets organized locally when juggling multiple projects.
When I add vector graphics with no backgrounds to my CC libraries, they all display with white backgrounds in CC libraries, making it impossible to see white graphics. When dropping a CC library asset into an Illustrator file, it appears fine, with transparency. However, when adding to an InDesign file, it always adds a white background. If I do File > Place and add a vector from my computer, it appear fine with transparency. It's only when added from CC libraries it adds a white background. See attached screenshot. Since Adobe has taken a simp position on the use of Generative AI for anything that is actually useful to people beyond making clouds and rainbows. It would be nice to have the ability to point the app to an API of our choosing, because if we are being brutally honest, the nanny police make it impossible to use, and the AI it does use sucks. I am a comic illustrator and have used Photoshop and Illustrator for 20 years or more now and anything with muscles, fighting, blood or anything real world is a no go and if I have to keep looking at that stupid orange box that is the most unhelpful piece of crap I have ever seen tell me I violate the terms again for trying to put long hair on someone or a helmet, or make their sword being stabbed into the heart of an enemy something I cannot edit, I will just go back to hand drawing and be done with Adobe. I have investments into my own generative AI as I am certain others do as well. Giving us API access to point CC to our own AI is a fair t
Hi, I have the CC Desktop installed and the page of my CC account open in my browser. Both logged in the same account. When I open Word or Power Point and click on the Creative Cloud Plugin installed it request me to Sign in. After entering the same username and password used previously the tab (attached) states that I am not "connected to Creative Cloud". It suggests me to download and restart CC for desktop. Both already tried multiple times. It suggests me to verify if I am signed with the same account as in Creative Cloud for desktop. Yes, I am. Suggests me to verify my network settings and get more help. Could you advise on how to solve this?
I want to be able to drag and drop color swatches from anywhere to libraries and I want it to keep the name of the swatch, not just the color value.
In Adobe dimension my libraries aren't populating in the assets> libraries panel. My libraries typically do and I haven't had issue before but for the last few days I can't get them to show up. I have check and they are properly configured and synced to date. I have tried the refresh libraries option, nothing really seems to work in this area. Dimension has been buggy before and since an update the show/hide layers features is very screwy so I am tempted to think this is a result of an update or a bug. But alternatively it might be I am out of computer power to load it or something. Anyone else have this issue lately?
When I try to relink a missing library item I can't search for it. The top bar is greyed out.I can only search when I am not trying to relink.I am only use 10% of my storage at 10 gigs.I have thousands of items and they are sorted alphabetical instead of in the groups I created.I tried telling the options panel to collapse groups but this never works in relinking mode. This is basically worthless because you have to wait for all the file thumbnails to load before it sents you move on.
Add abilitity to favorite libraries to pin them at top the library panel where recent is. There should be no limit to the number you can pin. I offten find myself swapping between client libraries and utility-based global libraries. It would be great to pin the active accounts and the utilites for faster workflow.
Share links are great for stakeholder review, but if the stakeholder doesn't know what asset they are viewing, it can lead to confusion. For example, if I'm creating a campaign in Illustrator with multiple assets for different screens, there should be a way to easily see the artboard name as the user scrolls through the pages. Thank you!
Please bring back the Adobe CC library desktop sync, when collaborating and working cross platforms from PC and Mac it is a great feature to have this library sync. I can't understand why Adobe made the decission to discontinue this feature?
Please can you allow me to bulk uopload all of my files back into the cloud. All of our folders and files were kept in a collaborative folder but because this folder was not "owned" by me I only have copies which I downloaded to an external hard drive. Now the CC desktop sync has happend I need to access the files but I can not bulk upload them from the hard drive to my online cloud account.I don't believe I saw anything telling us that files kept in a collaborative folder were at risk of not being retained. Please help
All latest Adobe app. MacOSLibraries are very convenient for placing art. However, there's no autoupdate files. Here's my specific issue. I export a bunch of photos from Lightroom,Batch them with Photoshop to CMYKAdd to LibraryUse them in InDesign and IllustratorNeed to make global changes in LIghtroomExport again, Batch to CMYK again Theres no connection betweent the new and old. There's no way to batch update 100 images. It's only one at at time. The only thing I can do is Delete them from the LibraryReadd themManually update EACH broken link. It's too time consuming. Because I know I'll need to change my images this way it makes more sense to not use a Library, place images the old way, and just let it find updated links when the files have changed. It's fine if you want to edit one file. But what about when I need to edit them all, globally, in Lightroom, NOT photoshop? There's no way.
This message is for Adobe leadership. I'm about a month behind, but I'm disappointed to find out Adobe donated $1M towards Trump's inauguration. If you have an extra million dollars to be donating, maybe you're overcharging your customers for your services. Additionally, for a company that says it stands for DEI and art for all, donating any money at all in support of Trump is a slap in the face to a majority of your users who do not support and do not want to support companies who support Trump and his goals. So which is it? Do you support DEI and art for all or do you support Trump? You can't choose both.
This is one of the worst and least intuitive programs I've ever worked with. It seems that the more advanced the features, the more unstable the program becomes. It's impossible to work with software that insists on changing panels without prompting, and whose functions stop working for no apparent reason.
Is there an easy way to share a small library of stock images with a client, so they can choose the ones they like for a project. Can I add the images to a library, get a link and send it to my client? Obviously, my client doesn't have an Adobe account and is probably technically illiterate, is busy, and all he wants to do is click a link in an email, have a quick look and let me know what he likes.
It would be great to have a feature like in Photoshop's layers panel, which allows you to collapse all groups in your libraries panel, so you don't have to collapse each group individually.
Hello there, Happy New Year! I have a question. The management needs a report that includes the "date access was added" and the "last used date" for each CC application per user. The Adobe Admin Console does not natively have a built-in feature to display them, so I checked with the Adobe Technical Support team to see if they can help retrieve the data from the backend. Still, the answer is, "Unfortunately, as of now, there isn't a way for us to retrieve that specific information from Adobe's backend systems either. The **Admin Console** doesn't capture or store that level of detailed usage information, and it isn't available through any of the logs, including the **Audit Logs** and **Content Logs**." I searched ChatGPT, and it says, "The User Management API or Usage Insights API provided by Adobe can retrieve this information programmatically." Is this doable? Thanks! Vicky
Libraries in InDesign and Illustrator should give me the option to choose which page of a multipage PDF I want to place in my document from the library. I have a multipage PDF that has different variations of a logo on each page. For example, page one has black text and solid art for a light-colored background, page two has white text and solid art for a dark-colored background, page three has transparency for light backgrounds, page four has transparency for dark backgrounds, etc. I created it this way because Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign all give me the option to pick which page to link when I choose “Place Linked.” Unlike InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator don’t give me “Object Layer Options” like InDesign does so the only way I can have one file for all logo variants is to put each variant on its own page. When I add the logo to my Bridge library, it seems to lock the multipage PDF to the first page only. When I drag the logo from my library to
When I've made a comment in the comment section - we cannot find the pin it goes to in the text. After we pin a comment to the design, we click on that comment hoping to show the pin on the design, it does not. We know you can click on the pin to see the comment, but we want to click on the comment to go to the pin. Also, the pins and comments are always in the order we put them in and not in order of moving through the document. Do you have a fix for this?
I am unable to access my Libraries on Adobe Dimensions because this tip pop-up is unclickable.
