Hi, is it possible to convert a set of 6 bright colours to a complementary set of pastel colours?
I’m very new to color grading/manipulation/wheel, so my question may be a real laugher, but what can you do?In Adobe Color, I dropped a jpg image in Extract Theme, and that resulted in the appearance of the image with 5 color sampling(?) circles on it. When I switch to Color Wheel, I see the 5 circles on the wheel in their associated hue and saturation locations, and also see a template with the same 5 colors. The base color is selected, though through no action on my part. Now the big question: when I change the color of a swatch or relocate a small circle on the wheel to a different hue, should I see a corresponding change in my image, or do I have it all wrong? Or, is the purpose of the circles on the wheel just to tell me that I have a harmonious palette or not? Many thanks to anyone who can answer my Qs.
How do I get the equivalent of #FC8019 in purple or any other color?
Hello, I'm trying to create a simple Triad that I can use as a jumping off point for a painting. I often like to use very simple triads, building out my palette as three monochromatic selections. It would be incredible useful to me if I could create simple three-color palette swatches that are not muddied up by the two unneccessary muddying colors that always accompany any triad palette creation. It's not really an issue; I understand Adobe believes that adding more swatches is not "inspirational" and is too "production-oriented." Considering exactly that, however, I find it genuinely baffling that there is zero option to even *reduce* the amount of swatches. Thanks much,Cullen Mathews
Hello community, herewith I would need to clarify something concerning license & permissions. The palettes included in Adobe Color, for example in "Explore" section, can be used by designers for commercial projects as they are (so keeping the same color codes) or they are just inspirational and need to be reworked to create other color codes in order to be used for commercial purposes?Thank you so much for clarifying.

When trying to save a theme, it doesn't show up in "My themes" in Chrome, but will only show up while in the "Incognito" mode of Chrome. The browser is up to date. (Chrome Version 92.0.4515.107 (Official Build) (64-bit))After I had saved themes a half a dozen times, and none of them showing up, I tried opening Color in Incognito mode, and all of the themes that I had made were there, but they still do not show up when out of incognito mode. I have tried with both Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, and get the same result. I have only tried incolgnito with Chrome. What can I do to resolve this so that my themes show in a non-incognito browser window?
Hi, Is anyone else missing the Libraries in Adobe Color? Yesterday they were there and today they disappeared.
The extension to the Adobe Theme in my PS 2020 no longer works. The library module has no reference to launch this Adobe Color module. How do I get to this color.adobe.com area from within Photoshop 2020. I'm not upgrading to 2021 as it constantly crashes... I used the theme regularly with my composites.. that extension is no longer available to me.. How do I move a color from my image to this new app, pick my complementary colors, save the swatch back to PS like I use to do with the theme... I regular workflow for me. Thanks
I am having a rough time figuring out how to add gradients that I created in color.adobe.com to my gradients in Photoshop. I have searched everywhere but can't find a solution . Also, having to copy every value in a colour from the swatches created to get them into my swataches panel just seems like so much extra work compared to how Kuler worked. For now though... any help on how to get those gradients into Photoshop not just into My Library (got that far) where I can actually use them? Thank you.
We have pushed out few updates and if you are facing issue while logging or if page is not loading or is in endless loading state then try any of following: 1. Try clearing your browser cache. i.e. if you are on chrome then try CTRL+SHIFT+R, similarly for other browsers 2. Try clearing out cache/cookies for color.adobe.com from browser settings 3. Try incognito mode
I am posting this here as it was a reply to an older post and might get overlooked. Please... and solution? My reply on post of 2017: "This is an old post, but having the same problems and complaints as the others. Yes I can create a theme, sure it goes into libraries, but the first swatch worked fine, however when I went to add the next colour in the row it just kept showing me the first swatch colour? Kuler was definately "cooler". I could use my phone to just aim at something, maybe a bit of fabric in a shop and the theme was created as I chose, and to include just moving my phone a bit to find a different group of colours. I can't seem to find that feature now. Until Adobe comes up with a way to save the contents of the history panel on your images when you close Photoshop, it's not faesible to just reboot all the time. Right now though, I just want to be able to get those themes into swatches without having to go through so many steps or write down values. Change is not always a go
Why does it say that the Adobe Color Theme panel is being removed from After Effects in July? It's such an immensely useful panel which I use a lot! Please tell me this message is a bug! :'(
Hi! I have a problem: When I find a color on the Adobe Color Website and I write down the CMYK-Code and use it in e.g. Illustrator, then the colors vary greatly (on the same Monitor!). When I make a snapshot from Illustrator and open it with my browser, it looks exaktly like in Illustrator. Therefore I think the problem lies not with the browser (and I tried with google chrome and iexplorer 7), and on smartphone it also looks quite similar to Illustrator. And even when I try Adobe color on my smartphone, it's still the same as on Adobe Color. Has anybody an explanation / a solution? (I think, that the illustrator color is correct, as they correlate with other (non-adobe) programs.) I hope you understand my problem. I also attach a foto from the color difference:both CMYK 75,100,0,0;the violet is from illustrator, the blue from adobe color

Hey there, New user here. I've got both physical and digital versions of the Pantone Bridge Coated color book here and when I use Adobe Color (on site), pick a few colors and look for Pantone simularities, I get Pantone numbers that do not correlate to actual usable Pantone numbers in Illustrator or the physical color book. I've made sure both Adobe Color and my Illustrator have the correct color book selected.Any help is appreciated!

Hi there, I don't know if this is the right place to post this question but, I had a previous account for Adobe Colour Wheel, and created some colour schemes for some branding. Every time I search up my name on Google, that colour scheme shows up, even though I'm certain I controlled my privacy settings. I didn't know how else to make it go away from Google, so I deleted the Adobe account thinking it would automatically come down and it's still there. So now I created this account just to post this question here, because I don't know what else to do to remove it. Please help, I don't want my previous Adobe colour wheel showing up whenever I Google my name.

Can I use a color scheme found in "Explore" for free?
I'm creating a color palette for a color picker used in a document viewer UI. So this would be the color palette in the UI that the user can select from when changing font colors, shape colors, and so on when they use the document viewer. The UI has space for 24 color swatches for the color options the user can select from in the color picker. Is there a most commonly used color palette library, or best practices color swatch library, to use when selecting the colors to use in something like this? It's not the easiest thing to search for. I'm attaching a screenshot of the current palette being used in the UI, but the colors were randomly selected by the person who built the UI without any rhyme or reason and I'd like to find a resource for the most commonly used colors used in these types of menus to replace this list. Thanks!
Since yesterday I'm missing one of my saved color themes. Pretty frustrating as I thought it would be safe there. It was one I saved from the explore tab. Anybody else had this happening?I thought these themes would stay there until I deleted them but maybe they are merely pointing to the original in the explore tab and disappear whenever Adobe removes them from their selection? Can't we rely on this library to save our saved themes forever?
