I am receiving PDF attachments but when I open them the document is mostly just dots and dashes. It appears as if the Windows fonts package is not reading them, either that or the fonts package in Adobe Reader DC has beenreduced in the last update. CAn anyone shed any light on this please? Kind regardsTerry
Yesterday the fonts where there and this morning they are not. Whats Happen to them. Are they discontinued? Does Adobe do this regularly? Need to know I am using for an ongoing publication and my deadline is approaching fast. We changed to typekit to make it easier for freelancers to help out. Not happy. I bought Adobe Font Folio 11.1 in China and designed a logo. Can this logo be used globally?
I will download and install a new font. It tends to work for a day or so, and then a few days later it has uninstalled. Any tips on how to prevent this from occurring? <The Title was edited by moderator>
Does the Adobe font license allow me to share a font with my suppliers? It would only be used to engrave and laser mark our parts? <The title was edited by moderator>

Hi there, The documentation provided by this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/using/font-licensing.html#web-bannerSays that I'm able to use Typekit fonts for banner advertisements. However, this does not seem to be 100% true. We're running a bunch of programmatic ads using Google Marketing Platform and 60% of these are getting disallowed by the network due to the Typekit CSS embed code: https://use.typekit.net/xxxxxxx.css It is currently being flagged as an Unauthorised Ad Technology Provider, and their only suggestion is to get that URL certified, which is extremely unhelpful. So I have two questions: 1. Would it be possible for Adobe to get the Typekit URL certified as an ATP CDN?, (I've noticed Adobe is already a certified vendor for other products https://developers.google.com/third-party-ads/adx-vendors). This seems an unlikely process to occur. 2. How can I download fonts and host them on Google's own asset library for use within
Hi there.Using InDesign, I am trying to re-format a supplied Word Document, coming from the client. There are lots of complex (to me anyway) formulas in the text, which disappear when imported. I'm using a work-around ... "Printing a PDF" from the supplied document and then "placing" in a picture box in my InDesign Doc, but really, in 2019, there must be another way (which is 100 times more time efficient)? Any help appreciated.
Hi, is there any estimates when mobile app licences for Adobe Original fonts (especially Acumin Pro) will be available? <The title was edited by moderator>
Hi there!I have some questions about editable embed fonts usage. I have Adobe Fonts through my Creative Cloud subscription but still don't understand if it covers the commercial use I want for.First of all: Is it allowed to fully embed fonts (editable embed permission fonts) in PDF forms in a way that the person recieving the file can use same embedded fonts to fill in with and change to their own words in the text fields I embedded the fonts? Are there a new "Font embedding permission" that applies to Adobe Fonts? The only links I find are these but they no longer apply, right? Since I guess they apply to former Typekit?https://www.adobe.com/se/products/type/font-licensing/font-embedding-permissions.htmlhttps://www.adobe.com/se/products/type/font-licensing/additional-license-rights.htmlI need to know if Adobe Fonts allows me to use the fonts in PDF Form created in Acrobat and then sell the form as an editable PDF template with the fonts embedded so that the user can use the
I'm 11 and I found this out:https://youtu.be/zbFqXwJYbg0I want to let you know about this weakness in fontsplease read this as you need it
Hello all. I am doing an update to my Activities Club newsletter. It must have been made in the 1970’s. It is made in Word. It is now almost the year 2020 and it needs an update. So how does the modern elder now look at things ? I thought I would start the re-modelling of the newsletter by starting with the font. I will try and post a screen shot soon but the internet is not letting me at the moment.
Hi there, I've run into a rather strange issue that I would love to see if anyone has any insight on that doesn't quite fit the related issues (when I typed in the subject), nor parallel issues that I'm seeing on the Adobe Captivate forums. In addition, I'm using an Enterprise license of CC, with full (and installed) versions of Captivate 2017 and Captivate 2019 (full standalone versions) on a Windows 10 machine. This message comes from my personal account as I could not sign in using my work email. The issue that I've been having is with installing fonts from the TypeKit. What happens is that I'll select some fonts (in this case, Century Gothic, Lato, and Marydale) and I get a notification telling me that x fonts have been deactivated. If I install another font family, it will tell me that the number of fonts in that family have been deactivated as soon as I've installed it. I've tried the various solutions on this page: https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/kb/
Hi, I need help!I am a Creative Cloud all apps subscriber. I've checked my plan and I should have access to Adobe fonts. However, I'm met with a message telling me to subscribe to access fonts. I'm logged in and I still get this message. There is no option to activate the fonts. Thanks, Nick
I've used Cronos for a longtime client and our materials need to include the "schwa" symbol, essentially an upside down "e" in between diagonal hash lines, like this: /e/, but with the "e" upside down. I've needed to do this manually in limited instances but the materials I am producing are calling for more use of this symbol. I found the instructions using the ABC Extended keyboard to use option+shift+: and "a" to create this but the font changes to Lucida Grande. I'd like to stay in the same family so fonts are consistent, and am wondering if Adobe has made any character enhancements to this family. I can't find any way of contacting them directly on this, so posting here.
I successfully used Kinescope on a title in the previous issue of the magazine I design. I thought I might use it again, but this time something is acting very weird. The preview in the font pulldown renders correctly, but the text itself is all messed up. Here's a screenshot:I tried it on several pieces of text in the document, but it always fails like this. Other fonts are fine. And it's still fine in the previous magazine issue's document, even if I add it to additional text as a test. It's just in this document that it's going haywire. Theories?
I have the subscription to CC that I pay monthly, when I go to the page of adobe fonts, I can only see and activate 188 families (attached photo). I do not understand why it says that I must subscribe to access all the fonts if I am logged in with my user.Any ideas?
My computer seems to keep having the same issue with the fonts when I am using adobe programs. I download the fonts, activate them on the adobe creative cloud, but sooner or later the program doesn’t recognize that I do have the fonts and it starts saying that I am missing them. When I go to install them again, it even tells me that they are already installed, so it asks if I want to overwrite them. I feel like it happens whenever I am working with new fonts, it seems to go crazy and forget that I have other fonts as well.
I had this font activated, but with one of the last few CC updates as well as updates to different apps, I can't reactivate Millesime Bold. I have no idea why that particular font fact won't activate. The rest of the font family will activate and does not show as missing when I open application where I' have used this font. I need it active in ALL of the apps as I'm using for a project with several applications. It's showing as active when I open Adobe Fonts: and in the creative cloud application:I need this font working....what is wrong?
The title is content.
I used to use fonts from the "Univers" font family as they were part of Font Folio. With my current "Adobe for Teams" license this font family cannot be found in the font search (https://fonts.adobe.com/search/collections?query=univers). It still is listed as part of the Font Folio 11.1 (https://www.adobe.com/content/dam/acom/en/fontfolio/pdfs/fontfolio11.1_font_list.pdf) though.Could someone please confirm that the "Univers" font family has disappeared from the current font catalogue or, alternatively, show me a way to install it with my current license? Thanks!alex
I want to start using VAG Rundschrift on my website. It has two weights: a light version and a regular version that actually looks bold or black. The issue is: it is the Regular, bold-like version the one that is shown when setting the font-weight as "normal" via CSS. For the Light weight, I need to specify font-weight: 300. Is it possible to set the Regular version as bold (when using font-weight: bold or font-weight: 700) and the Light version as normal (as default weight, font-weight: normal or font-weight: 400)? I know it would be doable if loading the font files directly via my CSS, but not sure how to do it while using the Typekit stylesheet.Thank you!
