Adobe Fonts

Hello, whith this link: https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/jaf-lapture#fonts-section there isn't "add to web project" we must do before creating the API link. Is it because I'm a "free try" user?   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

Hey everyone,  Yesterday I posted that I've encountered an issue regarding to embedding a font to a Wix Studio website using CSS Global. After several hours of trying and tweaking the code, it finally worked as I announced in the post and the code was embedded perfectly fine. This morning, I opended up the website to keep working on it- and all of the sudden the font that I've embedded wasn't working anymore.  Unfortunately the Adobe support on the chat wasn't anywhere near helpful, and Wix support team didn't have much to do with this since they're not the ones provided me the code. I think that there's an issue with importing the fonts and embedding them and could really use some help about that or to know if someone has succedded in embedding a font on a web project (and made it last for more than 24 hours). Thank you in advance for any tip, I'm adding the code that worked yesterday and didn't work anymore this morning. I didn't made

I've designed a website in Adobe XD and used an Adobe Font and now i want to pass the design onto my developer. In terms of licensing, how does this work? Does he also need to have an Adobe subsciption for this? Or is there a way to buy an Adobe Font license for a single website project? I've always used Google fonts so this is new territory for me! Any help would be appreciated! 🙂

I've been contacted by the Foundry telling me the above font needs to be licenced directly from them.The person concerned didnt even know the CG Pro was available on Adobe fonts, even though it plainly is, and from my reading about the licence it's already is as part of my CC subsrciption.Am I right in thinking the "Pro" means the OTF version with some extra "characters" ?They're trying to get me to sign up to a MT subscription plan which I dont think I need.Anyone else in a similar situation ?Roger

Hello there, I’m wondering if you can help me to explain to my client about using fonts that Adobe does not support any longer. I had PTSans.ttc supplied to us on a file. I had to copy the indesign file and place it into another Indesign file for printing. When I placed the file the font that was PTSans.ttc converted to Times Bold. I didn’t notice and the client did. I’m wondering why this would happen and I would not get any warnings. I’ve attached screen shots of what happens. Please note that all of my adobe cloud is up to date. I would really appreciate if you can please help us here.  Thank you Pam

I'm learning how to work with font pairings to redesign my websites. I read that one of the fonts that work well with Futura is Bodoni. So, I opened up Photoshop and discovered that I have Bodoni 72 and Bodoni 72 Old Style, but not plain old Bodoni. Similarly, I have Baskerville, but not New Baskerville, which is recommended to use with another font. Here's my question: If a font like Bodoni or Baskerville is recommended, does that usually mean that variations of that font can be used in a similar context? Or do you have to get the exact font specified? 

I've had this happen before, searching for the right font in adobe fonts and some fonts show an example and some do not - some just show example text in a sans serif font, and even if I click on the font to view the font family, all I see is a sans serif font. Is this a setting I need to change? In scrolling through the list of fonts I do see the sample blocks of how fonts are used, but again - not all fonts.  Right now searching brush scripts, I do not see an example of Viktor, but do see examples of Kestrel and Salamat.Help!! see attached file.

Just did a fresh install of Adobe CC on a new Mac Studio with the M1 Max chip on Ventura 13.2.1. Prior to installing, I deactivated all fonts from Adobe Fonts. When I opened a document in the latest version of InDesign 2023 and went to activate the fonts, the fonts hang in the CC app per the attached screen shot "Reactivating" and never complete activation. In case it was a firewall issue, I've had my IT team whitelist every Adobe server per the instructions on the Adobe site and that doesn't resolve the issue. You would think as the CC line of products mature over time, reliability would improve but I find that I spend more time trying to figure out workarounds for Adobe's shortcomings than I do working on paying customer jobs.

Does anyone here know when the Clarendon font was added to Adobe Fonts? Thanks in advance 🙂

Many fonts are not working in Adobe animate. In Photoshop and other software, it's working well—bt in Adobe Animate spaces coming Betwin letters.  Not only one fonts so many . even used adobe fonts.

Hoping someone can help . . . I have a full Creative Cloud subscription and, all of a sudden, it appears that all my synced Adobe fonts are "missing." I've tried accessing both previously used and newly installed fonts, to no avail. I followed the troubleshooting instructions in this post, including: Temporarily deactivating, and then reactiviting, all Adobe fonts Signing out of Creative Cloud (and all apps) and then signing back in Shutting down my whole computer and restarting   At this point, when I go into the Creative Cloud Desktop, to the "Manage Fonts" section, NO fonts are showing (see screenshot). I do have access to my CC Libraries, so that aspect of CC is syncing, but the Typekit/Adobe fonts seem to have entirely disappeared.   I'm at a loss and up against some big deadlines. Can anyone help???

How can I share this font with coworkers that don't have a Creative Cloud subsciption?

I have a web app running, where I'm using an Adobe Font. I would like to make this web app into a hybrid app, so that users can download it from their app store. So it would basically be the same web app, where some items are downloaded in advance, but where the fonts are still accessed as a web font. My question is whether we can still use the same license, or if we need need to get a dedicated app license for the font? Technically how I would go about creating the hybrid app, would be by using capacitor. So the app would be a webview, which is basically just a replication of the webapp an still function by making API call like a website.

I am trying to download a specific font for use on Canva.  We've got an employee who is Adobe-fluent, while a new employee is more familiar with Canva and we'd like to be able to use the font there.  I assume the "Installed in Adobe & other Local Apps" means just Adobe products and things like Microsoft Word....not Canva. TIA

This ridiculous system has lost my most-used font Berthold Akzidenz Grotesk. I cannot find it in the font library. Anyone know how to find it? Is this designed to make creativity more difficult???? 

Hi. I'm having issues with the Fira Sans font. I have tried to install it from both Google Fonts and Adobe and there's the same problem. After opening the file in both Illustrator and InDesign, it says that the fonts are missing, even though I do have them all installed. I have tried to find Fira Sans OT (because it says that that is the one that is missing, but I can't find it).It is the only font that has such problems, and it has been happening for almost 2 years at this point, it's very annoying and time-consuming to be changing everything manually.

Greetings, when I click on "Fonts" on my Creative Cloud Desktop it links me at the german page instead of italian. Can you help me to fix this problem? Thank you. 

Is there a way to collect adobe fonts if you are working with a printer that doesn't have Cloud?Some of our printers are not able to use these fonts.

As you can see here, I'm using the "Kozuka Gothic Pr6N" font. In this screenshot, the upper one is screenshot, and the below one is a text that I'm using. Client gave me the font specifically to use but two of the letters are working perfectly fine but two are not. I just want to use them, I can't even replace them as the client told me specifically to use them. So yeah is there any way to make these letters work. I hope someone will help me out on this one. When I open Adobe Illustrator to start my day of work, Proxima Nova continually fails to sync. I have to restart my computer for it to take. It used to only happen sporadically, but now it happens EVERY SINGLE DAY and it's super frustrating. I've tried turning Adobe Fonts off and back on again, but that doesn't fix it; only restarting fix it. Please help!
