Adobe Fonts

Hi everyone, Working on a Mac. I haven't used a font "group manager" in a long time; is there a way to organize fonts into groups within Adobe software, or should I stick to Font Book or some 3rd party app?   thanks   <Title renamed by moderator>

Using two computers with the same Adobe license and cloud version, and the same fonts installed from the same source files I have for many years gotten an error message about missing fonts. This happens when I open a file edited on one computer on the other. It also happened when I opened a file from another user using the same license, version, and fonts. There is no problem using the replace fonts-dialogue and replacing the "missing" font.The font that the document with the error is looking for has (OTF) in parenthesis, i.e.: Source sans pro (OTF) Regular.But the font actually used and of course, the one I replace it with is in this case Source sans pro RegularI would love tips to remove this small but annoying issue. Hello, I have just subscribed to creative cloud and am unable to activate any fonts.  For every font that I choose, it only says "available with cc".  I am also currently signed in.

I received an email from Adobe today (July 29, 2021) at 12:04 pm PDT. It offered a free dowbload of the font "Poster Compressed." At 12:20 pm PST on the same day I tried download the font. On web page https://creativecloud.adobe.com/discover/article/font-giveaway-poster-compressed?trackingid=VPM4K7K3&mv=email, I received the message "Note: This limited-time giveaway has expired." If Adobe wants to make paying Adobe Cretive Cloud subscribers angry, this is certainly one way to do it.

It's pretty crazy to consider that doing a search on Adobe Fonts for "slab serif" or "glyphic" delivers only a handful of results. Search only seems to work by the font name. It doesn't seem to search meta data at all. This really needs to be remedied.

I have an InDesign document cresated on desktop that I want to open in a freshly formated laptop. Why would three fonts in my document not be available on my Laptop. I even went  to the trouble of copying fonts from desktop to laptop still receive the message on InDesign on my laptop, that these fonts are not available?

why won't the typeka font load on my adobe creative cloud account? It says unavailable, but a friend has the same account and has no issues.    

At my work, we use a specifies fonts, those are not available in Adobe Fonts, can I download these fonts in my Adobe Account?

Hello   the Sofia font (https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/sofia), whilst showing it's available for web licensing, isn't showing up the ability to add it to Web Projects. Can you point in the right direction?   I'm definitely logged in, we're using the same account for several other projects and the ability to add to web projects is working on some other fonts ....   Thanks. Hi all, When attempting to generate a web project with the font "210 Supersize", the create button doesn't yield the normal text with all the font details, and does nothing instead. When checking my projects category afterwords, it shows as blank with no font added. Is anyone else facing this problem, am I missing something, or is that an adobe bug? I can get it to work with the company's other fonts but I have no success with this specific one. https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/210-supersize Regards,

How do you transfer your adobe fonts from one account to another? It's just the activated ones but how to transfer them to another paid account?

Often times I find activating a font in an app (i.e. InDesign and Illustrator) just sits there and loads and loads and does nothing. So sometimes, I go into the CC app and check through my fonts to see if it's actually activated there. Problem is, I can't type in the font name and search for it on the CC app! If I type the name of the font into the searchbar, it just searches everything and it shows me apps, tutorials, community pots... I just wanna find a particular font in my library! So instead I have to scroll through everyone font I have activated to find what I'm looking for. Adobe, is there not a way to search your fonts in the CC app? If so, someone please let me know how to do so. If not, please consider making this a feature. 

Hi Everyone,Some of our team members didn't name the projects correctly so I don't know on which website a particular font has been used. There is a project ID but there is no URL to the website in the backend of Adobe Fonts.Does anybody know if there is a way to find out what the URL of the websites are?Adobe Fonts counts site views and that's how their pricing works so they should be able to provide the URLs.I spent to hours chatting to their support as well as speaking on the phone but nobody could help. Is anybody out there who knows a solution? Thanks in advance  

I'm on the latest versions of Photoshop/Indesign/Illustrator and in the middle of a project.  A font I activated just will not show up.  I recently switched to a new Mac M1 computer, so I upgraded the software in the middle of the project.  Could that be the problem?  Do I need to downgrade, or am I missing some setting? 

Hi All. I have a customer that we provide IT support for, she has a subscriptioon with Adobe Fonts and has asked to have HelveticaNeueLT Std font installed as the font is showing as not available in one of her PDF documents being edited in Adobe Pro DC. She signed into her account and we've seacrhed for the font in the library but it seems to not be available. Can anyone advise how to get this font please?

When I launch Creative Cloud, then click on "browse more fonts," I get the following error message:"494 ERRORThe request could not be satisfied.Bad request. We can't connect to the server for this app or website at this time. There might be too much traffic or a configuration error. Try again later, or contact the app or website owner." I contacted Adobe Support and he sent me a link to do a remote access, but the link he sent me doesn't work, it keeps telling me "ERROR: The requested support representative is not available at this time." He wanted me to try another browser, so I tried three; same message. Then he told me to reboot my machine. I did, same message. Then he told me "Maybe there is a technical glitch..." You think?!Then he came back and said there WAS a technical glitch and could I try it in 20 minutes? I am beyond frustrated. I've tried everything. I've logged out/logged in my Adobe account. I've rebooted. I've turned off all malware and virus protection. I've

PostScript Type 1 fonts announcement:   Adobe will end support for authoring with PostScript Type 1 fonts by January 2023. This FAQ article details the changes and what they mean for your projects.   The Adobe Fonts service will not be affected by this change. Fonts activated from Adobe Fonts will continue to be supported everywhere you use them now. Any OpenType or TrueType fonts you have installed on your machine will continue to be supported as well. Note that operating systems are currently moving towards supporting the more robust technical possibilities of OpenType format fonts, and ending support for the Type 1 format. All of a sudden my installed Adobe fonts are defaulting to (apologies I don't know the right terms) the fancy format, with all most glyphed-out alternatives instead of the regular format. Pic below to explain better. Any idea how to switch it back?? All I can seem to do is go into the Glyphs panel and choose alternatives for each letter! (Yes my Photoshop is up to date, and I even tried deactivating and reinstalling this font and it did the same thing.)

  As you can see from the picture above,  there is no option for me to activate it. However, I already have an account and I was already able to activated other fonts. So why can I activate some fonts but, for others, the button to activate it doesnt show up??(I just started using this today pls help, I tried searching about this but nothing is coming up)

Hello,I am using 3 fonts on my website, however one of them always blinks when loading, this is it takes time to load showing the default font. Is there a way to fix this, by implementing something or installing a plugin?Thanks

Hi there, I stumbled on this blogpost by Typewolf on Adobe Fonts, but most of the fonts linked are "not available" when viewing the page, for example the Freight font, but many others as well. In general it is claimed there should be thousands of fonts available, but when I browse through fonts this does not really seem to be the case. I have a full CC subscription. I would really like to make use of those fonts, so if someone could clarify this, that'd be great. Thanks!Claartje
