Often times I find activating a font in an app (i.e. InDesign and Illustrator) just sits there and loads and loads and does nothing. So sometimes, I go into the CC app and check through my fonts to see if it's actually activated there. Problem is, I can't type in the font name and search for it on the CC app! If I type the name of the font into the searchbar, it just searches everything and it shows me apps, tutorials, community pots... I just wanna find a particular font in my library! So instead I have to scroll through everyone font I have activated to find what I'm looking for. Adobe, is there not a way to search your fonts in the CC app? If so, someone please let me know how to do so. If not, please consider making this a feature.
Hi Everyone,Some of our team members didn't name the projects correctly so I don't know on which website a particular font has been used. There is a project ID but there is no URL to the website in the backend of Adobe Fonts.Does anybody know if there is a way to find out what the URL of the websites are?Adobe Fonts counts site views and that's how their pricing works so they should be able to provide the URLs.I spent to hours chatting to their support as well as speaking on the phone but nobody could help. Is anybody out there who knows a solution? Thanks in advance
I'm on the latest versions of Photoshop/Indesign/Illustrator and in the middle of a project. A font I activated just will not show up. I recently switched to a new Mac M1 computer, so I upgraded the software in the middle of the project. Could that be the problem? Do I need to downgrade, or am I missing some setting?
Hi All. I have a customer that we provide IT support for, she has a subscriptioon with Adobe Fonts and has asked to have HelveticaNeueLT Std font installed as the font is showing as not available in one of her PDF documents being edited in Adobe Pro DC. She signed into her account and we've seacrhed for the font in the library but it seems to not be available. Can anyone advise how to get this font please?
When I launch Creative Cloud, then click on "browse more fonts," I get the following error message:"494 ERRORThe request could not be satisfied.Bad request. We can't connect to the server for this app or website at this time. There might be too much traffic or a configuration error. Try again later, or contact the app or website owner." I contacted Adobe Support and he sent me a link to do a remote access, but the link he sent me doesn't work, it keeps telling me "ERROR: The requested support representative is not available at this time." He wanted me to try another browser, so I tried three; same message. Then he told me to reboot my machine. I did, same message. Then he told me "Maybe there is a technical glitch..." You think?!Then he came back and said there WAS a technical glitch and could I try it in 20 minutes? I am beyond frustrated. I've tried everything. I've logged out/logged in my Adobe account. I've rebooted. I've turned off all malware and virus protection. I've
PostScript Type 1 fonts announcement: Adobe will end support for authoring with PostScript Type 1 fonts by January 2023. This FAQ article details the changes and what they mean for your projects. The Adobe Fonts service will not be affected by this change. Fonts activated from Adobe Fonts will continue to be supported everywhere you use them now. Any OpenType or TrueType fonts you have installed on your machine will continue to be supported as well. Note that operating systems are currently moving towards supporting the more robust technical possibilities of OpenType format fonts, and ending support for the Type 1 format. Most browsers and mobile operating systems currently do not support Type 1 fonts. All of a sudden my installed Adobe fonts are defaulting to (apologies I don't know the right terms) the fancy format, with all most glyphed-out alternatives instead of the regular format. Pic below to explain better. Any idea how to switch it back?? All I can seem to do is go into the Glyphs panel and choose alternatives for each letter! (Yes my Photoshop is up to date, and I even tried deactivating and reinstalling this font and it did the same thing.)
As you can see from the picture above, there is no option for me to activate it. However, I already have an account and I was already able to activated other fonts. So why can I activate some fonts but, for others, the button to activate it doesnt show up??(I just started using this today pls help, I tried searching about this but nothing is coming up)
Hello,I am using 3 fonts on my website, however one of them always blinks when loading, this is it takes time to load showing the default font. Is there a way to fix this, by implementing something or installing a plugin? Thanks
Hi there, I stumbled on this blogpost by Typewolf on Adobe Fonts, but most of the fonts linked are "not available" when viewing the page, for example the Freight font, but many others as well. In general it is claimed there should be thousands of fonts available, but when I browse through fonts this does not really seem to be the case. I have a full CC subscription. I would really like to make use of those fonts, so if someone could clarify this, that'd be great. Thanks!Claartje
One question I hope you can help me.Am I allowed to use Adobe fonts for selling plotter files if I convert them to paths and offer the following formats for sale,DFX, GSP, PNG & SVG.The font is converted into paths and can be cut out with a plotter. No individual letters, only words and sentences. As an example, a quick draft to show what I mean.
Good Morning,I am involved in a lawsuit where a graphic designer has chosen to provide his source files to the client. He claims that he had to trace (vectorise) the texts in the source file because the fonts' licence does not allow him to share them.I agree that fonts and their licences cannot be shared, sent, attached or integrated into creations delivered to clients. However, I would like to know:it is still possible to send source files with editable (untracked) text, where fonts are not integrated or attached? Can you give me your confirmation on this topic? If my client asks me for the source files, and I agree to deliver them, I have no obligation to trace the texts, and I can send them in editable form ( as a real source file), as long as I do not attach or integrate the fonts I have used.It will be the client's problem to sort out the handling of the texts and fonts, when the source file has been opened. Do you agree with this? Thanks for you helpGiulia
I'm looking for some art nouveau fonts, and when I go to Adobe Fonts I have no idea how to search for them. There is an Art Deco tag, but not an Art Nouveau tag. I'm not a font expert, so I don't have a name to search on. Any help?
Hi guys, does anyone know which fonts are used for M&S Percy Pig sweets and Colin the Caterpillar designs please? I'd be veruy grateful if anyone can enlighten me 🙂 Thanks
I have activated the two fonts I want from Adobe fonts. They will NOT show up on my computer. I have restarted my applications and these fonts are listed by a different name. How do I get activated fonts to show up?
Hi everyone, I am on the hunt for some grungy, vintage style ransom / extortion letter fonts for a poster I'm doing. Has anyone come across anything similar on Adobe Fonts?
Hello, I installed a few fonts on the Creative Cloud app on my phone. Is there a way that I can download the fonts to my desktop so I can use them with Photoshop and Lightroom? Thank you!
My Adobe applications in Windows 10 are unable to search for missing Adobe Fonts. When I open the Creative Cloud desktop app, the Adobe Fonts icon on the top right is missing, the option in preferences to turn sync on is missing and the Font shortcut in the "Resource Links" tab is broken (No link seems attached, nothing happens when clicking on it). However, everything works fine on MacBook, other people on Windows are able to sync fonts on my files, only the browser version of Creative Cloud has all the functionalities related to fonts.I've tried logging in and out, uninstalling+reinstalling all my applications including Creative Cloud multiple times, changing languages, changing firewall parameters, everything this page suggests ( https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/kb/troubleshoot-font-activation.html )I wanted to hit the forums before contacting support. Thank you all.

Hello,I would like to change the name of the Arno Pro in order to duplicate it without all the sub-fonts (Caption, Subhead, Display, Small text). Is this possible?More precisely, I like use the Arno Pro in an application (Dorico from Steinberg) which dont allow to choose between the diferent sub-fonts, but when I choose Arno Pro, the App gives me the Caption by default. So I thought I would just duplicate the Regular and give it another name so that I could choose it in the said application. How do I name a font like this?Thank you in advance.
So the company has purchased font folio 11.1 - just wanted to check we can use these fonts in apps (not in DPS) we create? thanks,
How do I go about getting the font weights changes for the Skolar Sans Latin font in order to address a kerning issue with a capital T and lowercase h. This has been corrected for 300, 500 and 600, but not for normal, 400 and bold.
I recently used Adobe Fonts to activate a font for a Photoshop design project. In the meantime, I acquired the OTF font files to integrate into the final app and naturally install them on my system (Windows 10.) Since then, whenever I try to use the font in Photoshop I get an error: "A font could not be added due to a conflict". I see this has been observed by others like here, or here, with the only solution being to NOT use a system font, which I find unacceptable... I tried:Deactivating the font: PS activates it again whenever it sees itDeactivating Adobe Fonts in the CC app: PS still lists CC fonts and refuses to list the system fontUninstalling and reinstalling the system font after deactivating Adobe Fonts: PS still only lists the CC font. In the end I might end up just not installing it at system level, but this is a terrible solution. Adobe Fonts should be a hepful tool and in this case it's basically forcing me to chose between it and actual system wid
