Adobe Fonts

I am doing an updated version of a book detailing projects in our company. Most of this is written in the font Blockhead OT bold, which was downloaded and activated through Adobe Fonts (was used last ~6 months ago). The font-kit Blockhead is still available here but not the bold version - why?! Was it deleted? Should I expect other fonts to suddenly become unavailable?  Is there a way, I can download fonts from Adobe Fonts without the creative cloud, so that I may keep any versions of the font for future use? It is a huge problem when trying to work with a specific font in my design-guides, if I cant count on them being available.

The above notoification keeps popping up in my Windows 10 notifications (right side screen) multiple times every day. How can I turn this off? I tried deactivating that font in the Creative Cloud app using Manage Fonts, but it keeps re-enabling itself.   [Moderator moved the thread to the correct forum]

want fix for issue, which adobe isn't clear about, maybe by 2023 there will be a solution, so for 2 years I have to get this message every time I open indesign with a type 1 fonts?  HELP!

For the past couple months or so the Adobe Fonts web site has been acting odd in term of showing the newest Latin alphabet based typefaces added. When the site is first loaded it defaults to the "featured" list of fonts on the page view. When I select the "newest" view most of what I see are fonts with different alphabets than Latin (Arabic, Korean Hangul, Japanese Kanji, Thai Script, etc). That view of non-Latin fonts persists even when choosing "English" for the Languange and Writing Systems filter on the left column of the page. Even with "English" selected there are literally dozens of pages worth of non-Latin alphabet fonts stacked up front.I like checking the Adobe Fonts page from time to time to see the newest fonts added to the service. But the crush of fonts for other language systems gets in the way of that.

Hi,I enabled the Scala Pro font to use it in a document, which I wrote with MS Office Word (2016). The font correctly displayed on my system after enabling it, however, when I look at the font menu in most applications (not Adobe CC ones, though), all the styles show up as separate fonts:This is very weird (I remember having used Adobe Garamond Pro from Adobe Fonts without seeing this issue). I tried also with another font (TisaPro), but I see the same issue (in 14 different styles, as there are 7 weights). Trying with Illustrator, the font shows up correctly:Is this a bug in those particular fonts? Or a generic issue with typefaces from FontFont (both are published by them)? Is there a solution to properly use them without having to select another font just to write a word in italic, besides typesetting simple office documents with InDesign?Thanks for any hints,Alessandro

Hello, there seems to be some font-size scaling issues with special characters on acumin-pro. It looks like it happens whenever the font-size is set to an even number. 14px12px

I have two computers but according to the CC fonts have the correct font active but when i open InDesign or photoshop on one of them the fonts are not there?  In past I have had Adobe support log in and fix this but since our company consolidated there licensing I no longer have access to direct support… can anyone help?

Hi, I want to use a typeface for my website. I added the code as instructed, yet some characters don't show up, even though in the Adobe Fonts preview they work just fine. Is there something I'm missing?Please see the attachment.Thank you!Chris.

Hello, I am trying to build a website using Adobe portfolio.  To my knowledge, that uses Adobe fonts. I am finding there is only a limited number of fonts available. There was a font that I found in Photoshop I liked, Andale Mono, but I can't seem to use it via Adobe Fonts in Portfolio.  

Hello! I am working on the layout for a book project that used Minion (Type 1), and I would like to replace it with Minion Pro. The glitch I am running into, however, is that the project used small caps and oldstyle figures (especially for numbers), but I can't seem to find Minion Pro's small caps to activate. Hello, I am getting the message "Fonts are temporarily unavailable from creative cloud" when clicking "Find More" from the fonts pane. Here is the background, 1. I only have a license for InDesign 2020 not all the apps, 2. My license started yesterday, Oct. 12. 3. I have turned on Auto-activate Adobe Fonts from Edit-Preferences-File Handling, 4. I am logged in to Creative Cloud and Creative Cloud is open, 5. I am logged in to InDesign. Can someone please help me understand how I can get Adobe fonts to appear when I click "Find More" from the fonts pane? Thank you.

I'm a student, and I've been using Adobe Illustrator through my school acount for the past several months, and over that time I've downloaded quite a few fonts through Adobe Fonts. Just today I was working on a project in which I used some newly downloaded/activated fonts and some old ones as well. I stepped away for a little while and when I came back, there was a pink highlight around all of my text (across several other documents as well - I opened past ones to see if this was a recurring problem, and it seemed like it was) and a message saying "The document uses fonts that are currently not available on your computer." There's a little box that was below the message that allowed me to reactivate the fonts that I was apparently missing, but the checkbox wouldn't work. I closed and reopened the documents and the same problem kept occuring. I finally decided to check the Adobe Fonts website to see if the fonts were straight up removed, but there they were. However, this time there was

I was using these fonts perfectly fine and then one time I opened the application, they were all missing. I tried all the troubleshooting options on the main adobe help page, deactivating and reactivating the fonts, restarting my computer, restarting the application multiple times. In Adobe Fonts, these fonts are 'activated' but they are not showing up at all in any of my applications. I have had issues with adobe fonts in the past with activated fonts never showing up in my applications. Any advice would be helpful thank you!

Of the four weights of type in the Vag Rundshrift D family I am using light for a client project and today I needed to edit the designs.  However all text in the light weight vanished from the screen when opening the illustrator file. I have logged in and out of CC, restarted Illustrator and my PC, activated/deactivated the font and or family a couple of times each to no avail.  I have opted to use the light italic for the time being but this is not going to be acceptable to client so need a solution. I'd really like Adobe Fonts Team to check and confirm that there is not an issue with this font file, "VAG Rundschrift D Light"?  It just doesn't work whenever I open/edit a file using it or try to create a new file.Any assistance would be appreciated. I had initially posted this on Illustrator help forum and link to that is here belowhttps://community.adobe.com/t5/illustrator/font-weight-missing-not-visible-vag-rundshrift-d-light/m-p/12049333#M2765

Why wasn't the font of Design 210 added? Design 210 is the company that developed the most fonts among Korean font companies.

Got a lovely email from Adobe this morning telling me that they are removing Morisawa japanese fonts from their collection.  This is the list of fonts not longer available from the font library on September 10, 2021https://helpx.adobe.com/fonts/user-guide.html/fonts/using/morisawa-removal.ug.html Needle meet haystack. Technical support are not aware of this and/or were unable to help me. I'd like a list of the postscript names so I can find which files are affected and further impacts on my business. Thank you- Ghoul     

Hi,I do not install fonts often. I installed the Proxima Nova font so I could use it in various adobe apps (captivate and others), and others such as Techsmith Captivate. It works great to develop with. Since I installed it, when I visit web sites in chrome with the Proxima Nova font, it is replaced by something generic. Although the font works in applications, the html output I view in chrome also replaces the proxima nova font. Why did installing it prevent me from using it in chrome, but it worked in chrome before I installed? 

Does anyone have the font package install for windows they could share with me.  The links are all broken on Adobe's pages and the Font Package I have is apparently too old.  Thanks in advance.

Hello,Is there any way to preview Cyrillic sample text while browsing multiple fonts, like in Google fonts?When the language filter is checked some fonts show it in Cyrillic, but the majority are just "no-preview" blocks. And using other filters becomes pretty useless.(checking each family is not an option as I need to compare them while using a set of filters) Thank you!
