Adobe Learning Manager

1. Is there a way to waive a required course for certain users in an assigned learning plan? For example, if an entire branch is assigned a learning plan that includes Microsoft Word as a requirement, can I waive this particular course for individuals that already have experience and use it on a daily basis? 2. Can users document their own learning experiences by adding it to their learning transcript? For example, if an employee attended a session at a conference and wanted to list it on their learning transcript, can they submit a learning experience for approval?My company is currently using SumTotal's LMS and these are features that work really well for us. I would like to switch to Adobe Prime, but I can't if these features are not available.

We don't want students jumping or skipping modules. It seems the forward button allows them to jump to the next module without completing the one they are currently in.  How can I disable the Prime navigation bar at the bottom?

I have uploaded many modules into my content library and am having a difficult time filtering through to determine what modules have been placed in courses.  Is there a way to run a report showing which modules within the content library are being used in courses?

Hi Community, My apologies if this has been talked about before, but I could not find a proper answer to my question.Why is Firefox not supported with using Captivate Prime?That Adobe has preferred browsers is fine, but I am noticing certain functionality is blocked/unavailable while using Firefox as your browser.Feedback from my learners is making it increasingly frustrating for them to participate in training.Could someone please explain the reason behind this to me?(I truly am just trying to understand and not complain)Thanks in advance!Sincerely,Sean

Hi,I am new to Prime. Captivate 2017 has its own settings for LMS SCORM 2004. But, Prime has it own settings that override Captivate. How can I prevent that?  Should I enable "On Launching Content" only?v/r-WH

Can you add self pace and classroom courses to a Certification?

I am trying to see all of our job aides but can only see about 20 or so at at a time and there is no way to move to the next page or to download a list of titles. I know there are jobs aides being used but I can only see them in the job aide library by searching for them. Is there a report or trick I am missing?

When creating a certification within Prime, which involves with an elearning module, (is it possible and how do I do it), to add an actual certificate in a printable PDF format to generate when the learner has completed the certification? 

I have Captivate Prime on my phone (Sam 8). How do I license it? When it opens it asks for email. I use the email connected to my Adobe account and the application fails.  Any ideas?

Hi ThereA module on my LMS that has been working fine for weeks was flagged yesterday as jumping to completed on the last question slide & Captivate Prime is  reporting a zero quiz score although the learner is adamant they got all questions correct?When I tested the same module it did exactly the same thing however on this occasion I still had a reported quiz score that was correct less the last question that I did not get the chance to attempt.Whilst testing the reported fault I also noticed a previous Learner who had scored 80/100 was now showing as 0/100 against the quiz scores?Any thoughts?Alana

Hi,My trial on Adobe Captivate Prime expired yesterday. I've received  from you an email offering either to buy it or ask a 7-days extension I've clicked on the extension link and I got the option to chat with a customer service agent. At first he said my request was fulfilled, few minutes lates he said he was facing problems and finally he wrote he could't give the extension. Later on, he said there is not option for trial. I've sent him screen capture of the email and he transferred me to sales department. The person wasn't helpful at all.Why you don't honor your promotions and offers? I am just starting out with Cp and I have completed all relevant steps to test run my course, but I cannot find where I actually add the PDF files for the learner to view. I am sure it is a simple process, but I am simply not seeing it. Any help is much appreciated.

Currently, when viewing your master list of 'courses' as an admin and/or author, the course names are truncated after ~48 characters. This is problematic as we have many 'courses' which have much longer titles (quite a few exceeding 100+ characters). Additionally, it makes finding the correct section of a course, even when sorting alphabetically, an unnecessarily tedious process (more so before I cleaned up all of the display names in our system to follow a standard convention. . .) And no, simply changing or shortening our course names is NOT an option. Perhaps if a custom short name or code could be used internally, but the full name is displayed everywhere!Simple 'alt text' containing the full course name when hovering the mouse would work in the short term, but ideally the full course names would be displayed without any truncation whatsoever from the admin / author views. Additionally, the course names are truncated within the header of each course from the 'learner' view after ~6

I am logged in as Author.I go to the content library tab. I want to delete content that I do not need anymore.I cannot find a way to do this. There is surprising no delete option.Help

The fact that you still cannot delete a module shows how horrible this product is.  Stop saying it's 'on the roadmap' and add it to the product already! How do you allow users to create items without allowing them to delete items?  Especially when you don't warn users of the inability to delete those items.Deleting Modules should not be a 'feature', but rather a fundamental part of the product itself!  The fact that Adobe doesn't see this, shows just how short-sighted the product team is.Something I have come to realize is all too common for Adobe products, sadly.  Par for the course yet again!

Hi, External manager is getting "Enrollment Profile Disabled" when trying to login in to LMS. Anybody else experiencing the same problem? Any help would be much appreciated.

I have external peer accounts and am running into difficulties with sharing content that has automatically be given a deadline, since the external accounts can't create learning plans with content that has deadlines. What can i do to work around this issue?

How can I get a excel report that lists all of my users AND their manager? I need to delete some users who were managers so I need to assign a new manager first. How can I get a report of all of the employees and who is their manager in Captivate Prime?

I noticed when i logged into Prime through the App some of the courses are showing a due date and some show no deadline, why is this?I have not set a due date to any of the courses yet some have one. What am I doing differently with the ones that show no deadline and the ones that have a due date?How can I change these to no deadline?

We have an enterprise account with Lynda.com and with Prime LMS.  We have created the connector between Prime and Lynda.  What I can't figure out now, is how to get the Lynda content library to show up in our LMS. Has anyone tried this?Any help will be greatly appreciated.Yours,Jim

We have decided to migrate to Captivate Prime. Currently our database covers 300+ partners (resellers) with over 15,000 employees assigned to them. The bigger issues I wanted to discuss is the best way to structure them in CP. I know the concept of internal and external users but I have no idea how the mechanics of this different user types are and what does it mean later on for administration. In our database each reseller has one or more managers who are able to do some reporting, and we for sure want the same in CP - honestly we are just in front of a big question which we can not solve. Any help welcome.

I created a Quiz in Presenter, but am unable to publish the document to Captive Prime.  The instructions indicate Publish -> Adobe Captive Prime -> <select Prime Account> -> PublishThe problem is the list of Prime Accounts is blank.  Instructions indicate either a "Try Prime" or "Setup/Retrieve Account" should be present.If I try to publish, the pop-up wizard is blank and unresponsive.I am working with a trial copy of both Presenter and Captive Prime.  Is this a limitation of the trial functionality?   BTW - the Quiz works when published locally to PDF.Thanks,Scott
