Media Encoder now has support for a good deal of new formats and some legacy formats too. Canon users will definitely be psyched about the support for Canon XF-HEVC cameras. What's your opinion on the new formats?
Hi Guys, I'm trying to import a .m2ts file but i keep getting the error "The source compression type is not supported".Is there anything i can do to fix this?
Forgive a very basic question from a very new user...When I drag a camera card over to the Queue, the panel populates with two identical copies of every file - the duplicates having the same preset and output destination, but with '_1' added to the file name.Is there a way to stop it doing this? Thanks, Tim
Why was this app expired? I go to use it on my iMac running 10.10.5 and the app was expired. I uninstall it, only to find that it's gone from the Cloud. WTF is going on with Adobe!? My[profanity removed by moderator]works fine. Stop breaking it!
Hello,I have an issue. Exporting J2K with AME for archiving I am getting different results. When we inspect the files one states: Format Settings : Closed / Completeand the other states:Format Settings ; Open / Imcomplete The Open / Imcomplete has been refused. We are confused as both were exported with the same settings.Although one is 50i and the other 59i, both were from an mxf file Op1a.Any thoughts
Been making videos for some time using the same format and template. Created two the other day, one rendered. The other is hanging about 1/2 way through. They aren't long. The one hanging is only about 10 minutes in length. Nothing odd included and nothing that's not included into the other one (and previous ones) that worked just fine. Just video (from the same source). Some still shots (JPG) overlaid. Audio track processed (with same filters) in Audition. A legacy title for text overlay. Same effects used. Literally nothing unique in format between one and the other. Video plays just fine in Premiere Pro from start to finish.I updated my nVidia driver.I tried to render from PP directly (vs. queuing in ME).I've rebooted several times.I've deleted and requeued several times. I'm not expecting a solution so much as how can I troubleshoot what the issue might be?
Hello, I need to download Adobe Media Encoder CC (7.2). Where can I find it?I need to embed a video in Adobe Animate 2020 and the only format that works is FLV.Removing functionality is a HOSTILE ACT AGAINST PAYING CUSTOMERS!!! https://blogs.adobe.com/creativecloud/removal-flv-f4v-swf-export-adobe-media-encoder-after-effects-premiere-pro/ And if anyone's gonna say Handbrake, NO! Handbrake can only import FLV, not export.
I am wondering if it is possible to take a file with multiple video channels and transcode it to a new file type while retaining those seperate channels? For example, I have a lot of mp4's with 4 audio channels and I want to transcode them down to mov's while keeping the 4 audio channels seperate and not mixing them to stero or mono. Anyone had any luck with something like this?
Hi there, Sorry for my english, i'll try to explain my problems as good as i can. Leaving the job friday, i had about 200 files in the exportation queud.Unfortunatly, there was a power failure during the week end, so the computer shut down at somepoint. Coming back today, all the files shows an exclamation mark saying "impossible to read source file, file may have been displaced ou deleted". Seems all the sources files switched to the TEMP folder and that's what is causing my problem. Is there a way i can correct the path so my huge exportation queud can be back on track. I just don't wanna have to go back on Premiere and repeat the whole exporting process which would mean a lot of lost time. Please i need some help with this!!!
I film mp4s with the full 0-255 range as it is often in high contrast stage light. When I make my proxy files in AME, they are coming out in 16-235 Studio RGB spectrum and I can't find any option to select luminance range. Any suggestions please?
Are you shooting HDR yet? Adobe Media Encoder 14.0 now offers HDR10 export with metadata. Try out the feature and let the community know about your opinion.
There are now new encoding presets for publishing video to Adobe Stock. This makes it much easier to conform to Adobe Stock specs. What do you think about this?
Hi all, Suddenly, and out of nowhere my Media Encoder is giving me a "Source Is Empty" error and AE is crashing out when exporting through the Media Encoder. Literally exported this same file earlier today, don't understand what the problem is. I've seen some indication online that this could somehow be due to a Firewall issue in Windows? I'm running the latest version of Windows. Please help!
Every export I do through Media Encoder fails and I dont know why. This has been going on for about 5 months now. Any help would be appericiated. It will stop at seemingly random points in the export and stay there. Good afternoon,When using Adobe After Effects software in conjunction with Adobe Media Encoder with the same settings on 3 hardware configurations (differences at the chipset and video card level), different capacity usage was recorded when rendering the project on different computers. In particular, the difference was expressed in the following:On PC1 (i7-8700, 32B DDR4, GTX 1070 Ti 8GB), both when the "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration" is turned on, and when the "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only" is selected, the load during the whole process occurs only on all processor threads, and the video card is used at a maximum of 1-2%.On PC2 (i7-8700, 32B DDR4, RTX 2070 8GB), when you turn on the "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration" or when you select "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only", the load during the entire process only affects all processor threads, and the video card 1-2% maximum is used.On PC3 (Ryzen 7 3800X, 32B DDR4, RTX 2070 8GB), when you turn on the "Merc
Hey! So my video i am making when exported from Premier Pro is completely fine until it reaches the encoder. The video that was originally purple is now coming out yellow and blue. I checked if it might have been the GPU but it was not and the video played fine in premier so i am not sure what the problem may be
Hi, I had a friend send a video to me from her phone by text. It came to my iphone 8 plus as a .3gp file and blurry/poor quality. How do I get this to be the correct quality? Do I use the adobe media encoder? I do have access to that app.
Latest Media Encoder version. I've created the LUTs Creative and Technical folders as required in the 2019 versions for Premiere Pro and Media Encoder to recognize Lumetri looks. All it good in Premiere's Lumetri panel, but the Lumetri Looks are not showing up at all in Media Encoder - either when creating a preset or trying to apply a look to a clip. Selecting a non-default Look causes the UI to flip immediately back to None, and then actually does affect the shot - but in a horrible way not at all in line with the actual Look. Furthermore, this makes it impossible to create LUTted Proxies from Premiere - essential when working with Log footage - as it is not honoring the LUT at all. This is a huge problem. What is going on?
current install of Media encoder, tryingto transcodw soem H'254 drone footage to an edit friendly form....tried various DNx options but I'm always ending up with files as big as the originals ( nearly!) ...every single tutorial I see shows an option to change the bit reate of the output ..that option just isn't in my drop down menu in video settings??? EDIT --- just found out DNxHR cannot be adjusted by bit rate!
In the Media Encoder Export Settings dialog box the "export video" check box is checked, but greyed out. Meanwhile, I can check and uncheck the "export audio" option. Why is this happening? Only happens when I want to trancode to DNxHD/DNxHR MXF OP1a format. So I went ahead and transcode my .mts file (avchd as the codec) with the above scenario being the case. Then imported the footage to adobe premiere pro and only the audio is there, no video. If I UNCHECK the "export audio" option, then transcode, then import to premiere pro- only the video is there. Thoughts? Screen shot included.
Unity 3D can embed videos in a scene, but I could not file a video format that AME could generate with alpha channels that Unity 3D could understand. There was a 3rd party plugin for one format but it was broken last time I checked. Is there a video format that supports alpha channels (transparency) that AME can generate that Unity 3D understands now? (I would like to create an animation with Character Animator and drop it into a 3D scene.)
Hey there, I'm trying to export a 1920x1080 After Effects clip, but Encoder keeps changing the final video to 2560x1080. I've got all my settings correct, and as it exports it says 1920x1080 but the final product is always 2560x1080. I've tried resetting the dimensions manually as well as making sure that I'm running the latest version of Encoder, but neither solved the issue. I did upgrade to Catalina the other week, so I'm wondering if this could have something to do with it? I'll attach some photos here - any help would be much appreciated!
This has to be a setting I'm missing, but when I transcode using any Preset, Media Encoder burns the file name onto my transcoded video like this: "TextInFront[Source File Name].movTextInBack" Any direction guidance is appreciated!
