Adobe Media Encoder

I found this text in the change log"Hardware-accelerated H.264 encoding on Windows 10 with 6th Generation (or later) Intel® Core™ processors and Intel Graphics enabled"I did all the updates and wanted to try out how much faster this feature would be on a recently completed export I did the other day.  However I get a "software only" in what I think is the section of the export to confirm you want this hardware accelerated h.264 encoding?Screen Shot below...   Any chance someone can point me to how to work with this new feature?  I have a Intel i9 20 core machine, with 128 gb of memory and a NVIDIA GeForce GTX TITAN Running the latest Windows 10.  The mother board is an Asus X299 MB if that matters.  The only thing I can think of why this doesn't show up for me is it says "and intel graphics enabled".  I am not sure if that means the MB needs an intel graphics card also?    Either way, any tips or tricks on this topic would be welcome.&n

So if I queued about 20-30 files It encodes them 1 by 1, but I'd like to add more vids to be converted at the same time.Can't find such setting, is it available?Thanks.

Hello Community.As we all love to make our own custom preset's. I am somewhat disappointed that ever since I upgraded to Cattelina 10:15:7. I have been unable to save and re-import custom preset's for AME. I can see that the files have been saved to the correct folder. But for the life of me I am unable to bring them. And if I try and import them it will show in the preset panel on the left, but try dragging it onto the selected file to be transcoded and I get this message. "Incompatible Video Codec found in the preset. Preset load failed" I hope someone has an answer. MBP 15" 2.3GH 8 Core 32GB Ram.

While it says to use GPU acceleration as render, but AME is painfully slow and so is AE internal render. That's because it barely uses the available CPU and CUDA to render. It uses less than 18% of six-core CPU and less than 1% of CUDA. I have enabled CUDA setting, what's the deal here? Windows 10 Pro 6448GB RAMXeon 6 Core 4.3GhzGTX 1080 Ti +  GTX 1070 

I'd like to use Adobe Media Encoder for background rendering, but how do you set the render settings (like bit depth, motion blur, solo switches, guide layers, ect)?Also, how do you select the output color profile from AME?

i have a finished project in after effects and i am trying to add it to media encoder to render it, but when i click add to ame queue, media encoder opens but the project does not show up in ame. how do i fix this?

I've been trying to render a 23-second project in Media Encoder for around 2 days now. Whenever I try to render it, it goes smoothly, but then freezes on a certain frame. I've tried rendering the project about 3-4 different times and no matter what I do, the same thing happens. I reinstalled both AE and AME multiple times, however, nothing changed. I've emptied my disk cache and cleaned the database in Preferences. On the project, I have RSMB, MBL, Sharpen, and Unsharpen Mask on adjustment layers. I cut out the RSMB for the frame it got stuck on because it can glitch, but it didn't change anything. I've tried so many different methods from forums and I'm very frustrated because none of them worked. I tried rendering other files on my computer, and they render without freezing, so I'm sure it's something in my project. I'm wondering if the clip is somehow corrupted, which would be strange because it plays normally when I preview it at a third of the resolution. This project took a while

I've also posted on the Premiere Pro forum, but I'm also posting here juust to be sure. There are a fair amount of posts about this similar problem, but literally none of them have a solid answer or just say "it's your hardware." The thing is that my hardware's been rendering fine with high usage for the last few months up until within the past week, where since then, it's been hovering at around 10% CPU/GPU usage while rendering a 1080p60fps h.264 file with either hardware or software encoding (tested both, same results), so I have no reason not to believe that it's a software thing, but that never seems to be brought up in these threads.  I've tested rendering with multiple projects, from effects-heavy sequences, to just raw footage, while switching between software/hardware encoding, and I've only ever gotten low usage % on all of these, only using 1 core on my CPU and using almost nothing for my GPU.  I'm using Media Encoder and Premiere Pro v14.5

Hi,  I am using Media Encoder to do some Encoding on H.264 videos.  Basically exporitng some cartoons from Character Animator to Media Encoder for encoding. I found that when i try to select GPU acceleration, I only get the OpenCL option.  Not the CUDA option (which is better). Why is that ? I am using a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050, which should for all practical purposes uses NVIDIAs proprietary technology. What do I need to do  to make it use CUDA instead of OPENCL . Thanks 

Hello Guys!I bought a Nvidia Quadro K6000 but when i render my projects i can see performance of my pc on task manager GPU is 0% and CPU is 100% can somebody help me how can i render with my gaprhic card not with my procesor please!

I've been having issues with AME simply stopping to render. The Elapsed and Remaining read outs remain frozen. I checked in the activity moitor and saw that the aerendercore stops responding. I've been able to get it to continue the render by killing the aerendercore in the activity monitor, and it seems to continue where it left off, with updated Elapsed and Remaining readouts. I'll have to see if the render was successful with that method. This problem doesnt happen every time, so not sure what is causing it. AE2020 (17.5)AME2020 (14.5)macOS 10.15.7, imac 5k 2017 2017, 64GB Ram

Based on my current research, I have a feeling I know the answer, but I have perhaps a different need so I'm going to ask my question.   While creating virtual choir type videos (can be choir or instrumental groups), I must sychronize every submitted video to my master guide track. This is hugely important because all the audio for the mix needs to match, and then all the videos in the Premiere project need to match the final mix as well as each other.   I have wonderful audio softwaree DAWs that handle this very well with the precision I need, but, the video export is slow. Not horrible, but multiply 3-5 minutes times 40-60+ videos and that becomes a significant portion of the work.   So, I got a little excited when I realized that Audition can export through Media Encoder! I lined up my tracks, clicked on the export to Media Encoder, and boom, M.E., using my wonderful GPU, did its thing in about 30 seconds! I was so excited!   But. Although Audition plays the sync

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest versions of Adobe Media Encoder and After Effects multiple times. I have no plugins and I am just doing really basic animating for school projects. Please help me troubleshoot this. I have been trying to fix this for weeks--I can't export anything but AVI files from the render queue built into AE.   I've attached all the error messages I've seen as I've tried to get it to work... Thanks.

Media Encoder itself is responsive in that all the menu items are accessible and it is using normal levels of processing power. However, both the "elapsed" and "remaining" time have paused and it seems that the render itself is frozen. It's not a terribly large project (Youtube 1080p Present, 15 min) and the freeze has been for well over 20 minutes.I'd very much not like to redo the render so any help would be appreciated! Thanks

I suddenly can't import DPX files. "The source compression is not supported". I tried importing DPX files that I have already imported in the past and it doesn't work. Windows 10. Most recent Media Encoder version. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling. 

Hi, my media encoder does not connect to After Effects and Premier and gives an error when I drag the After Effects file into the media (versions are the same and installed in the same folder)

I cant render things from ae it always tells me could not read from the source. please check if it has moved or been deleted. media encoder

When I bring a video into Media Encoder (either through Premiere or drag and drop the file) and convert video as well as export a Sidecar caption file I am having a problem with the sidecar timecode.If I have trimmed off the beginning of the video (or used in and out on Premiere), the captioning may start with the right words, but the timecode on the sidecar file for those right words does not reset to 00:00:00. I've tried using set time code functon, but that does not change anything on the Sidecar caption file. Is this a bug, or is does the set time code function not apply to sidecar files?Are other people having this issue?Is there a solution or work around?  

Hello.I have a problem. I render my 5 seconds animotion in  Adobe media encoder with H264 format, Also MP4. It works well and even It play without a problem in my laptop.but when I play it in my phone or send It in Whatsapp or telegram (because I'm a student my teacher want to see my work)  It does not play.I really don't know what to do. please help me. 😞

Hi. I'm trying to find a way to export a video (using in and out on sequence instead of entire clip) with a sidecar caption, that allows for the timecode to be reset at 00:00:00.  Here's the problem: The goal is to take a finished broadcast version (with bars/tone/slate at the beginning for broadcast) and export it from in/out points with a sidecar file. I need the sidecar file timing to start at  00:00:00 just like the video so when it uploaded online, it matches the start of the video.  However, it keeps using the timecode from the original sequence/clip.Here's what the side car file looks like after export: As you can see, it keeps the original time code. If I have exported a 30 second video, the fact that this time code starts more than 2 minutes in means I will not have any captions if I put it on line.   I have tried to change the export settings  on Media Encoder (and Premiere), but I have not had any luck with the "Set Start Tim

Just had a web chat with Adobe support. I was told that Adobe does not have Media Encoder 2018 on their servers any more.They have Pr2018 and Ai2018 but not ME2018?I need to have ME to be able to queue a project in Pr2018's 'Export Settings' dialog box. It does not make sense for Adobe not to have ME2018 when they do supply Pr2018!Also the chat support person was very below par in every respect... PSWhat prompted my contacting Adobe support was the attached error notice, despite having ME2020 installed, which made me suspect that Pr2018 cannot work with ME2020. Many thanks

Where are Adobe Media Encoder system presets stored on Mac? I see where custom presets are, but where are the system presets?
