Hi, i got an issue when setting up my streaming broadcast. AFMLE closes itself when i set "Dazzle" device as video source. I work in W7 64 bits with 16RAM, tried updating my O.S. but didnt work. Anyone?
I Queue my video I made in Premiere pro 2018 and it sends it to Media Encoder. I am trying to send it to my usb drive and after 2 hours of encoding it says it is done, but there is NOTHING on my usb drive. I've experimented a bit with transcoding video files to MPEG-2 format in premiere pro, but no matter what, I always get an HUGE file (from 1GB to 6GB). So here's the question, is there a way reduce M2V files to a more manageable size?
Hi there,Bit of an odd question, but I know there's a way to change the splash screen's design for Adobe Illustrator CC 2017, I went into folder within Program Files and found the PNG file. However, for Adobe Media Encoder I don't see the same when searching through the program files. Does anyone know of a way or if there is a way to change the splash screen for Media Encoder, as you can do it for Illustrator?Thank you.
Confused about Adobe media encoder mxf OP1A Jpeg 2000 Encoding Option whether it lossy or lossless. And if it is lossless, does it follow Jpeg 2000 Standard Compliance Defined by JPE Group 2000?we are going to encode hundreds of uncompressed video File into jpeg 2000 using media encoder.Just need to be sure that we are getting output accn to standard Jpeg 2000 lossless format as defined by Jpeg committee and published as ISO/IEC 15444-2.Suggestion would be valuable before deciding Encoder (media encoder, vantage etc) to transcode hundreds of video file into our house format ie. Jpeg2000. @
I wanna know what formats does encore accept, to avoid having it doing the transcoding when authoring a DVD.
Hi,I'm using extended script for developing some panel plug ins for media encoder. I'm facing some problem where i have to get the details of each job items. Is there any option to get the details of queue items through extended script in Media encoder?
Hi all. I was using premiere 2018 and used a template lower third in the essential graphics tab. I usually use media encoder to output my media. For some reason though when it came to rendering the lower third, It only showed the text, but not the graphic. Media encoder did show a error however, ( I attributed this to my changing the font and size of the lower third).I did this a few times with some different settings, and they all had the problem. However when I rendered within premiere, everything showed up as it should have been.I'm assuming it's a bug within Media Encoder. Thanks !Jacob
Hi,So I managed to get a hold of the plugin to be able to use .webm files in Adobe and wanted to convert a .webm file at 2MB to "Animated GIF" but it ends up being 150MB. Tried to tweak the settings, but didn't help much. Any solutions? Gif file is too big in other wordsThanks in advance.
I am having some weird experience with Adobe Media Encoder (and Premiere) on my MacPro Late 2013, OS X 10.12.6, Running latest Adobe apps. This started when i deleted about 300 fonts from my font book (Main HD>Library>Fonts). This disabled Premiere for some reason and Premiere would not start (Just try to open and shut down). So I added the fonts back in and Premiere started back up. I went through the same fonts and trashed them (about a dozen at a time), each time starting Premiere to make sure it was still starting up. I did this until they were all deleted again. But this time Premiere started. So I think everything is back to normal until today when i sent my premiere project to Media Encoder.Premiere exports the files just fine. I exported a video file through Media Encoder with no issue. But when a Premiere project tries to export, the encoding shows no progress and no image (I have tried only exporting H.264 and Quicktime H.264 files). After a while of wa
I recently installed both Premiere Pro CC 2018 and Encoder 2018. But when I export media and choose "queue" it does not go to encoder (it goes nowhere). How to I get the dynamic link to work?
The FCP xml sent to AME has an ampersand in the filepath used in the <pathurl> tag as shown below//localhost/DEMOSERVER/MediaStore/HighRes/test&test/test.mxfAnd AME couldnt accept ampersand even its escaped as & or %26Please could you advise.
I have seen similar posts, but no resolution?I have just done a complete Fresh install of windows 10 and installed the Adobe CC 2018 apps I use. Computer is Intel i7 4.0ghz, 24gb Ram, Geforce GTX1080TI. Never had this issue with any other version. When I export from PremPro to Media Encoder, It appears in Media Encoder but when I hit start, nothing happens. Just sits there as if I haven't started it yet? I have tried latest Video card drivers and previous version. I have deleted preferences and tried again, I have uninstalled encoder and reinstalled it.It will work? When I bring in the sequence via Media Encoder Directly which leads me to think it may be some kind of linking issue, but then again I don't know enough about it.Is there any resolution to this issue??? A little cumbersome doing it through Media Encoder.Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks Tony.
Are the latest 2018CC versionBefore I use the "old title" function as a text carrier, but I heard that the new "basic graphics" function is very easy to use, I went to try, it is really good and more stable, unlike before Easy to collapse. However, the use of AME export will be a large number of screen errors, such as the location of pictures, text disorder, or even not directly. The use of direct export PR without these problems.AME is really a great tool for bulk export, but it seems I can not use it anymore. . .The normal display of the picture is the use of PR export, abnormal that (squeezed on the left) is the AME export, this is a fatal problem.
Greetings,We are using the Essential Graphics Panel shared library to add motion graphics to Premiere timelines. We are sometimes rendering our timelines to a render machine which is using a Watch Folder setup. The problem we have is that the motion graphics content is shown as offline and not rendered but the rest of the timeline renders fine. The Motion Graphics Template Media folder is on the same server as all of our other media and should be easily located by AME. I'm guessing that the Watch Folder functionality hasn't been updated to take into account the new workflow of the Essential Graphics panel. Has anyone else had the same experience? Fixes?
Dear PP-Community!I am working on a project that involves bad audio quality footage. Therefore I want to insert subtitles manually as text layers, not the standard functionality for subtitles to have more flexibility. In my sequence I have set up the following "sub title template" for all my text inserts. Text + 60-90% tansparent shape underneathThese show perfectly fine within premiere pro program, but when I render it (with AME), the dark shadowed background boxes are gone...AME-Output (from PP into encoder queue):After log tries I figured out, when directly rendering within Premiere everything OK (with exactly the same settings as before)different transparency - everything OK with PP renderingWhat I already tried without success:Nest the compdifferent resolutions & quality settingsmoved it from track 10 to track 5 (layers...)removed shadow / decreased transparencyI need AME to work just as "reliable" regarding output quality as PP.Any Ideas highly appreciated!when rendering from
I'm working on spec'ing a Dell Precision 5820 that will be used to encode media with Adobe Media Encoder, and editing video with Premiere.I'm thinking of maybe one SSD for the OS and apps, and another for media. What I don't know is the right mix of: # of processors; RAM; graphics card. I.e., will 64 or 128GB of RAM help a lot over, say, 32GB, or not so much. I don't have a firm budget yet, but I'm looking to propose 2 or 3 systems at roughly $4k, $7.5k, $10k. Will need two displays included in the package. I have a good Dell systems engineer I'm working with, but first I need to get a rough idea of what hardware components I should be aiming for. thanksBob
Hello all! Is it possible to convert a Quicktime with 5.1 SMPTE (L, R, Lfe, Ls, Rs) to stereo audio in Media Encoder? I tried converting an Avid "Same as Source" QT with 5.1 SMPTE audio to a QT with stereo audio in Media Encoder, and it grabbed my L and R audio channels and ditched the C, Lfe, Ls and Rs. D'oh!I can export from Avid in stereo to begin with, but I was surprised Media Encoder didn't do a proper 5.1 to stereo conversion. I see in the audio settings that when you select "stereo" it makes your source channels 1-2, which I am certain is the root of my particular problem, but there doesn't seem to be a way to change it.System Specs:Mac Pro 2 x 2.66 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon48 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC Running OS X Yosemite v. 10.10.5Avid Media Composer 8.6.3Media Encoder CC 2017
Hi,Can anyone comprehensively explain the difference between handbrake and Adobe Media Converter? Example: I have a simple slideshow consitig of 15 images and 14 transitions (onle fades) at 1080p, 5 min, 25 fps with a file size of appr. 250 MB. I want to convert that to something that still looks good on a HD TV and get the files size down.Adobe Media Converter creates a appr. 500 MB file in 1080p no matter what I try. Used H.264, set the target fps to 2 MBit/s (max. fps 20 MBit/s), tried many different settings, but always end up with double the file size I started with.Handbrake on the other hand compressed the file with H.264 down to 45 MB without any big loss in quality.Am I not using Medie Converter right, or is there something else I miss? Thanks!
Hi all, I have a 22 minute long film that exports to 1920x1080 ProRes 422 in Quicktime wrapper at a file size of 28GB. A festival has requested that the film be exported with these exact specifications, but with a file size limit of 8GB. They indicate that in worst case scenarios they will accept H.264 in a Quicktime wrapper, but when I export like this, it still makes a 20GB file. I have not faced this challenge before and I'm looking for suggestions on how to reduce the file size of the Quicktime file without changing the dimensions of the film or the compression settings. I feel like I'm asking how to shrink a house without causing any damage... but I'm hoping I'm missing something obvious. Thanks, Cat
Greetings. I've noticed that my GPU use seems rather low when converting files in Media Encoder. On average, my GPU usage was at 1% (one!!!), while my CPU usage was maxed at 100%. Yes, "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (CUDA)" is selected as the Renderer. Need to convert the files due to the computer that will be used for the edit is running CC 2017 and the GH5 source files are crashing Premiere. Not sure if this is normal but it appears to be very underutilized. Specs are as follows...Source clips:GH5 MOV, 1080p 10bit 60fpsOutput clips:MOV, DNxHR/DNxHD codec, 1080p DNxHD HQX 10-bit resolution, 60fpsSource clips are on external drive 1, output clips are written to external drive 2.All Adobe CC apps are up to date as of 11-14-17.Windows 10 Home 64bitAMD FX-6300 3.5 GHz24 GB RAMNvidia GeForce GTX 760 2GB RAM
So I get a lot of requests from people to take a video and make it compatible with PowerPoint, and the best way to do that is convert to the old .wmv format. So I thought I'd be clever and set up a watch folder that takes whatever I give it, and convert to a "Same as Source" .wmv. That way the dimensions and bitrate would all be the same, but would convert to a usable format.I try to do this, and in the "Preset" drop-down, there is no "Same as Source". Very weird. I'm trying my best to figure out why this would be omitted. Am I missing something? To leave this out of Media Encoder would be maybe one of the dumbest omissions in all of Adobe's history (which is full of dumb omissions), so I'm hoping that I am simply not finding the right checkbox somewhere. There's no way this is not an option, right?
Bonjour. Description de la configuration :- i7 5930K OC @4.4GHz- 32 Go de RAM DDR4 3000MHz CAS15- Disque de travail : SSD Samsung 840Pro- GPU : 2x NVidia 980TiMerci par avance pour votre aide !
I can't be able to export my psd to not compressed avi with the psd resolution (720*384). When i try to convert the resulution becomes 720*480 and the video contains black bar on top and bottom. Is it possible to export with original resolution to not compressed avi?Thank you.Francesco
