Adobe Media Encoder

Hi,I am trying to export a very large project, 7 hours of footage, minimal edits (title cards and clip transitions). AME takes 6-7 hours to export, gets to 0:00 time left, but doesn't finish, just sits there. In the folder there are the temporary files, the .acc and .m4v (? i forget the name of that one). On one attempt there was an additional mp4 file, but it wouldn't open and was 0 bytes in size.Any suggestions to fix this problem?Is my project just way to big?Should I use different settings?Let me know, thanks!Here are my specs:705 GB Free Space out of 1TBPreviously I tried these setting in AME:Currently I am trying to export on these settings:(note the difference in file size! 9.5 GB vs 49.3 GB^^ though the export takes almost as long..)

I am trying to encode a VOB file which is usually very simple but this time I am getting vertical picture lines in the output window. Doesn't seem to matter what codec I use it keeps spitting out a vertical line picture. Source says it's 10240x480(0.0625)

I have just finished exporting a film from davinci to prores 422 and am trying to convert it down to a mp4 file to upload for others to review online. But for some reason, when I drag it into media encoder, set the setting, and press the start button, the queue appears to start (the start button is replaced with a pause, and the bottom preview screen appears) but nothing happens past that and it just sits there. When I try to pause it and delete the item, it won't allow and I have to force quit the app. Am I missing some compatibility issue between encoder and davinci or with encoder and mov files?

I see this question was asked a year ago and nobody has answered it. I have the latest 2017 version of both PP and ME. I hit "export" within PP. ME opens---and nothing happens. The video I try to export never shows up in queue. I'll be live chatting & calling soon if you don't give us a solution, Adobe.

I'm looking to get these specs created so i can use it on our playout server but I can't figure out how to create the present. Any suggestions?

In After Effects, there's an option to select 32bit rendering. Is the same option available in AME? I tried using the "Render at maximum depth" option, but it doesn't seem to affect the result. Any ideas?Cheers

Hi!I have a problem that I've never experienced.Exporting mxf files from Premiere CC 2015.4 using Encoder 2015.4, the software export the files and show the notice:Avvertenza encoder: V022:vbv_delay underflow!What does it means? As said in the title:Should I enable Render at Maximum Quality for uploading to youtube in 4k? (h264)I read it's mostly usefull when scalling down video?How about scaling up? (upscaling from HD or zooming in)It raised the encoding time, but will it provide a better result? Or perhaps worse due to compression?

IGood Morning,I am very new to Media Encoder, so admit I may be wrong, but I cannot it seems put an MP$ file into ME and render OGG or WebM videos for use on a client's website.   This is somewhat surprising as Adobe can be proud of their Dreamweaver/Muse apps, thus encouraging us to use them to design and develop good websites.   What do other ME users do to get around this dilemma.   I have seen some on-line converter services but need some advise on the good ones.   By the way I am a Mac user.    From my experience in other forums, I expect some great responses from fine people as usual

So, I tried to be sneaky and install the ProRes Media Encoder presets on my Windows 10 machine. Obviously they don't work. So now I've been trying to delete them from Media Encoder and.... I can't! It won't let me!So basically, I have a giant list of presets that aren't even usable, and I can't figure out a way to delete them. When I right-click on them, the "Delete" and "Reveal Preset File" buttons are both grayed out. I've searched the forums, and I found that someone else had a similar issue and was able to find their presets at: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\AME\6.0\Presets  and then delete them manually. However, for me, I'm not finding any of my presets there. (And I'm on CC 2017, which means it'd be version 11.0, right? I'm not even seeing an 11.0 folder at all. Just the 6.0 folder because I have CS6 installed as well).Any ideas for how I can remove these presets? I realize I was dumb to even try the presets in the first place, haha. But a man can dream abo

I'm trying to import an image sequence which is not numbered sequentially in its filenames, so I am trying to import with the option "force alphabetical" (or however it is called in English – I'm using a different language).AME (11.1.0.170) only imports the first frame as a still.AE (14.2.0.198), on the other hand, imports the same sequence as expected.Anything I am missing in AME?Thanks!

I have searched for an answer but can't find one.Why do some of my custom presets have the CC symbol next to them?I don't have syncing turned on so nothing should be going to the cloud.Thanks in advance.

I work for a small cable TV company.  We insert advertising on national networks (USA, ESPN, etc).  We've had customers call in complaining that some of our commercials are much louder than the network programming.  We receive video files from advertisers and then encode them to put them on our system.  Using Adobe Encoder, I see that there are several audio settings when exporting video.  I am not familiar with all the settings.  Is there a standard I should be using to normalize anything being exported?

AME is crashing while I am encoding a aerial 4k video to be published on vimo. I have tried numerous times getting a 2 minute with a music audio sound track with it to get encoded for vimo. It does not always crash at the same spot. Tried a large multitude of things that google told me to do. I have an audio files that has a .WPL extension and would like to convert it to mp3 and AME doesn't recognize it. I'm surprised that AME doesn't broaden their variety of encodable files.

Here's the problem:I'm trying to meet a spec. for a client in which they have specified an H.264 with NO frame reordering and 44.1 kHz/320 Kbps AAC audio.  I have attempted this using two methods: 1. setting up a profile within a .mov container, and 2. as a .mp4.  My issues/questions are as follows:1.  When setting up a profile in a .mov container, I am able to turn frame reordering off, but when I set my audio to AAC 44.1 kHz, the option to encode with a Bit Rate of 320 Kbps is not an option!  It just defaults to 128 Kbps.  This would be rejectable as a spec option.  Is there some way I can up the Bit Rate to 320 Kbps?2.  When setting up a profile as a .mp4, turning off frame reordering is NOT an option.  I'm assuming it defaults to allow frame reordering, but is there any way I can turn it off?  DOES it in fact automatically utilize frame reordering?  If not, this would be rejectable as a spec option.Thanks for any clarification!-Thom

There are probably other ways to solve this problem, and I am very open to suggestions on it. I'll describe what I'm trying to do ...Presently, I'm creating a bunch of "how to" videos. On one computer, I am capturing the screen at 4K. On a second computer, I am capturing a webcam and audio of what is happening.There are many tools that allow recording like this for YouTube or Twitch. I have looked at several of them, but the end result seems to always be a "mixed" stream of encoded video. I don't want the webcam overlay all the time, and maybe I want to change it in post-production. So, this requires two separate recordings.It seems to me that a single encoder could record two separate video streams to an MP4 (or even MKV container if necessary). Then I would have my audio and two video streams in sync. As it stands, when I pull them into After Effects, the videos and audio are wildly out of sync. I compensate for this by using about 45 seconds of video at a time - before the audio get

disclaimer: I am no expert on this subject, this is a school projectI've been working on a video for 3 months now and it is due tomorrow, I am unsure if I will have it rendered by then at this rate.I decided to do a simple test render (half of 1080p, 3 mbps, H.264) so I could point out any mistakes and fix them before I took on the final render, the estimated time went from 3 hours to 8, so I decided to check over the video within AE for any taxing effects. I removed a fractal noise background animation because it was causing the ram preview to be slow while I was making the video but other than that I decided everything else was essential to the video. So I decided to do the final render you can see the settings in the picture (but i can provide more info if needed) the video is 11m 30s at 1080p etc. I started the render it at first it said it would take 56 hours, but 10 min later it said it would take 6 hours. So i was satisfied with the amount, and let it be. it rendered for about 2

Hey guys,  I would like to render 4K files , as a MXF op -atom- format and codec. but adobe encoder gives me only the MXF op 1a option which is not good for me because it is not 'native' and requires a third party App to Preview it.  anyone heard of some way to do it Via Adobe Apps or others..    thanks

We have a project that is 5 1920x1080 screens being projected. The client wants one large file at 9600x1080. Is this possible?

Hello,I have discovered that H.264 files rendered out in AME 2017 are nearly 50% lower bitrate than those rendered out in AME 2015 and 2014.  This is a problem as I need to utilize the previous version of AME for a project and have matching bitrates.Does anybody have any advice or is anyone else experiencing this same situation?Note: I am comparing the preset "Match Source - Medium bitrate" at 720p with my source file being 1080p.Note 2: After further testing, in AME 2015, I have to set the "Target bitrate" to 1.8 mbps to match the setting of 3 mbps in AME 2017.Thank you and Blessings,Steven Dunn

Hi all,Very confused at the moment with a render that I'm trying to create from After Effects.I have a project in After Effects with a comp of 5 seconds flat and am rendering with Media Encoder.  When I render my mac says the file is 5 seconds but then I upload it to our system it says 5 seconds 5 milliseconds.  I have since downloaded MediaInfo and this states the files are 5 seconds 5 milliseconds.Due to the system I'm uploading it too the file needs to be 5 seconds FLAT!Can't anyone help me fix this or understand why Media Encoder is doing this?!Thank you in advance!
