Hi there,We are recording a few webinars with Webex and the compression is really good. The webex video file is recorded with the following specs - 1920 x 1080, 25fps, Data rate 69 kbps, Audio - 31 kbps, mono, Audio sample rate 32.000 kHz. A 20 min file is about 20 MB. It is tought to beat. I want to edit the videos and remove some parts with AME but the output file is really big...I use the H.264 presets and tried to put the specs as low as possible. For instance, I use the following specs - 1024 x 576, 25 fps, Bitrate enncodig - VBR, 1 pass, Target butrate (the lowest) [Mbps - 0.19]. File is tripple the size.Is there to retain the same compression so I dont end up when I remove 5% of the footage and republish with tripple the size file? Thanks in advanceBobby
Hi! Media Encoder gets stuck on the splash screen with a "Loading DeckLinkTransmitter.bundle" message. Anyone else had this issue/have a fix? Thanks!
Hi. I am using AE 2025 and ME 2025 on Windows 10. I was noticing some drops in image quality when rendering in After Effects so I decided to attempt using Media Encoder instead. At first my video seemed pristine once it finished rendering, but upon taking a closer listen, I notice that around the midpoint there is some clicking and popping at certain instances, like you might hear from a dirty or worn vinyl record, or from audio that seeps too much "into the red," aka clipping. As the video goes on this seems to be more frequent of an issue. (Note, these sounds are perhaps not easily noticeable to the average listener, but at louder volumes or perhaps on a second listen it is probably noticeable. Given that the audio for this project is music, this is rather unoptimal. More or less rubbish even still.) This is very upsetting, after waiting a fair amount of time for the video to finally render, after having to restart to fix some issues on my end. However, I am fully confident
i have ame 25.0 installed but the creative cloud not showing the update to 25.1 . i go online and the update says my computer is not compatabile
Every time I'm sending a .aep to a render queue, and then hit play button in AME, I have an issue - 'File doesn't match the source'. Though it cannot apply to the real situation, as all my files is located in one folder and the path in AME definitely matches the real source file path.I use Adobe Media Encoder Version 23.2.1. Build 2.After Effects 23.1.0, Build 83.MacOS BigSur.Please, consider the issue.
When I go to open Encoder it tells me"Sorry, Media Encoder has encountered an error and needs to close. You will not be able to use Media Encoder at this time. Please contact Customer Support and use the reference code 205 for more information on how to resolve this issue." Then I quit the media encoder, I've uninstalled, reinstalled, even updated since having this issue, I've even downgraded it and still it never works. I disabled my AVG Internet Security and all. I am not sure what to do...
I discovered that my conflict between Premiere Pro and Media Encoder was due to versions. When I updated Premiere Pro to 25, it exported to Media Encoder 25 with no problems. Hmm. Sometimes the simple answers are the right ones. Go figure.
Hi there,I use Adobe Media Encoder regularly, and I find the "Match Source" feature incredibly helpful for streamlining my workflow. However, I’ve noticed that this option is unavailable when encoding in AVI format.I understand that AVI is an older container format, and it may not always be feasible to match source settings exactly due to technical limitations. That said, I believe keeping the "Match Source" button available, with some modifications, could enhance the user experience. Here are a few suggestions for how it could work:Adjust settings within the format's limitationsAutomatically apply source settings (like resolution, frame rate, and aspect ratio) wherever possible without violating AVI's constraints.Highlight unadjustable settingsClearly indicate any settings that couldn't be matched due to format restrictions, perhaps by highlighting them in red or using another visual cue.Provide explanatory tooltips or messagesInclude a brief note for highlighted settings, such as "Th
Use the template below to provide us with information: Issue - Media Encoder no longer encodes audio in the preset for Youtube 4K videos. Audio is checked in the project, but no sound comes out.Adobe Media Encoder version number - 24.5Operating system - Windows 11Steps to reproduce - A media project that plays fine in the latest version of Premiere along with audio does not encode audio with the video in the final render. Expected result - Audio should be rendered with videoActual result - Video renders but no audio on output. No warnings shown during render. FIX: Revert to Media Encoder v 24.4.1 Build 2 and same project encodes both audio and video fine. Optional but useful: upload media and/or project files, screenshots or screen recordings that demonstrate the issue. - No relevant screen shots as this fails silently (no pun intended), and project files are too big to share. Also to note - this is the second bug I have 'obtaine
Issue - A sequence that plays properly in Adobe Premiere Pro does not render properly in Media Encoder. It will not render audio when rendering video to H264 using any of the rendering methods or audio settings. It will, however, render the audio if the sequence is rendered to audio only, for example to MP3 or AAC audio. Adobe Media Encoder version number - 25.0, however this has also been the case with previous Adobe Media Encoder versions since about last May. I had a separate bug report for previous versions but it was never repaired. I continued to use the older version. With the 25.0 upgrade to Premiere, and the lack of backwards support to previous Premiere versions of Premiere files, and this still being a problem, I was forced to figure out what the issue was with many trial and error attempts or completely re-edit my video. Operating system - Windows 11 Pro. System is dual processor Intel Xeon Gold 6184 @ 2.4 GHz, 128 GB of RAM. Rendering is on a quad SSD d
Since updating, when I send an h.264 from Premiere to Media encoder it EXPLODES the colours. See reference pics. No idea why and I can't find anything that fixes it. Tried colour spaces, interpretation, all the normal stuff. it's just broken! Help??
Why doesn't Media Encoder have more export settings for GIFs? Adobe Express has great presets for different quality exports. Can those Express settings be added to ME as a preset?
I'm so tired of this. During the last two posts I sent, I said that I can't export through media encoder because it kept failing. I don't know what is going on when it suddenly worked one time in October. Everytime I try to start rendering, it keeps failing a millisecond after. Also, I know very little about media encoder and that I can't access export settings for some reason. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT I NEED TO DO!!!!!! Apps Used:Adobe Animate 2022Adobe Media Encoder 2022
Adobe Media Encoder ( Version 25.0 Build 54) appears to be writing exclusively to RAM rather than to any of my drives. With 128 GB of RAM, I encounter crashes during the export of large projects as Media Encoder fills the RAM to capacity. Monitoring drive activity reveals high levels of read activity but no corresponding write activity. Towards the end of some of the exports that are being rendered , I noticed very high write speeds from Media Ecoder on any of the SSDs I try to write to but the ram values don't go down and the containers are never closed. My SSDs are more than capable at writing at speeds much faster than the program can render at. Why can’t Adobe's software just work? Hi,Yesterday I updated AE and Media Encoder to the latest versions and after that I'm not able to get the AE file to the queue in Media Encoder. I press;Export - Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue: But the file doesn't show up in the queue window in Media Encoder.I've tried to reinstall earlier versions but then the quality of the movie gets really really bad!I use a MacBook Pro 15 and I have Adobe Creative CloudBest regardsJohnny
Hi, with the new 2018 upgrade, I came upon to the issue of EFS not estimating the file size properly.Speaking of a simple 30 second long H.264 mp4 format, rendered at 3mbit/s (1080p) - it normally wouldn't be bigger than 10MB. Via Media Encoder estimated file size shows up accurate but output after rendering is usually 5-10 times bigger than that with the same bitrate. So that 30 second video now renders at 30-40MB. Currently I have to use a 3rd party compression tool like handbrake after each render. This is a new issue and was not happening in CC 2017. Anyone had this issue with their renders? This is making processes longer and ineffective at the moment. Thanks in advance for any reply!E
I'm trying to export a bunch of sequences in premiere through Media Encoder. The videos are the result of digitalizing UMATIC & BETA tapes so they have some frames that are potentially corrupted. When exporting, the queue shows a lot of videos marked as 'Error'. The message I get is something like:- Archivo de origen: /var/folders/f7/49nn33vn3y5gbn0l9jwgrtkw0000gn/T/11-14 copia_1_88.prproj- Archivo de salida: /Volumes/E 2TB 002/Exports/Bons/FU–66152.mp4- Ajuste preestablecido utilizado:- Vídeo: 768x576 (1,0), 18 fps, Progresivo, 100 (63% HLG, 51% PQ), Codificación de hardware, 00:00:49:03- Audio: AAC, 320 Kbps, 48 kHz, Estéreo- Velocidad de bits: VBR, pase 1, Destino 2.12 Mbps- Tiempo de codificación: 00:00:1512/03/2024 12:04:53 AM : Error de codificación------------------------------------------------------------Se ha producido un error al recuperar el fotograma 148 (00:00:07:08) del archivo /Volumes/E 2TB 002/11-14/FU–66152.mp4. Media encoder is importing .jpg image sequences as a single frame even when "import image sequence" is toggled on in the import dialog box. This works fine with in Media Encoder Beta, but the official build is broken. In the official build, the only workaround is to manually select all the files in the folder (rather than just the first file of the sequence which normally works). This is tedious as the "cmd-a" command doesn't work in the dialog box to allow selecting all files... The problem exists with .jpg sequences... .png appear to work. I didn't try other formats.
I need to export all the clips in a sequence seaparatley. I can't use project manager because it doesn't apply certain effects to the clips. I've opted to create a bin with all the clips from my sequence. From there i export them to the media encoder. The problem is by default media encoder sets the suorce range to "Entire Clip" and I have to manually change each export to "Clip In/Out". It won't let me bulk change this export setting and it's not possible through a preset. This has been posted about many times, is there any workaround, if not can Adobe please provide a better way to export all the clips on your timeline individually. Media Encoder Version 25.0
Once I've exported my timeline to media Encoder, the output appears to have an unwanted LUT (high colour saturation and contrast). Is there a workaround for this; settings to be changed? Thanks
The latest versions of PPro and AME just constantly show as needing to be updated. Then it takes a full audio plugin scan when opening and then Creative Cloud shows that they need to be updated, again and again and again and again and again and again ...
Hello everyone,I've been running into an issue with Adobe [Premiere Pro/Media Encoder/etc.] where rendering fails partway through, and instead of resuming from the point of failure, it forces me to start the rendering process from the beginning. This has been quite frustrating, especially for longer projects.I’m curious if anyone else has encountered this and knows why Adobe doesn’t support resuming rendering from where it fails. Is there a specific reason behind this behavior? Is it related to how the rendering process works, hardware limitations, or something else? Also, if you have any tips or workarounds to avoid this issue, I’d love to hear them!Looking forward to your insights.Best RegardsMaahiDevendra
Why is AME having trouble opening a project I have sent to it from PP?I have plenty of drive space and my cards are big cards.I have exported projects this size in the past without issue.I have cleared all relevant caches, etc but it just cant get past 2/3rds of the export. Each time it has also added a number on the end of the project. I thought once I cleared the caches it would start again on the count but not so.Is there another cache folder I'm not seeing?Appreciate any assistance.
