Things have become dead slow...In the good old days I was able to render using the CUDA features of my NVIDIA Quadro FX 4800.Now with Media Encoder CC 2017, it no longer works. I cannot select any other renderer than the "Mercury Playback Engine Software Only". I ran GPUSniffer.exe to check what's going on, and it listed the output below:--- OpenGL Info ---Vendor: NVIDIA CorporationRenderer: Quadro FX 4800/PCIe/SSE2OpenGL Version: 2.1.2 21.21.13.4200GLSL Version: 1.20 NVIDIA via Cg compilerMonitors: 2Monitor 0 properties - Size: (0, 0, 1920, 1200) Max texture size: 8192 Supports non-power of two: 1 Shaders 444: 1 Shaders 422: 1 Shaders 420: 1Monitor 1 properties - Size: (1920, 0, 1920, 1200) Max texture size: 8192 Supports non-power of two: 1 Shaders 444: 1 Shaders 422: 1 Shaders 420: 1--- GPU Computation Info ---Found 1 devices supporting GPU
Hi I am trying to transcode some video files in Adobe Media Encoder CC.When I export my clips, it changes the names from eg:C001 (ie the original source material) to 000B8 (the transcoded file)How do I maintain the original file name when I export my clips? Thanks,Will

We are using Adobe media encoder 2015 version and 9.0.0.222 build version. Every time we are trying to render the video file from premier pro via media encoder.Once we get this Media Encoding error 9007 issue, same issue hapens for the successive renders until we restart the Media Encoder. After restarting the media encoder, same renders happen without any error. We are loading the Premier Pro project and rendering using Media Encoder through Premier pro panel using JSX.Question 1:Are there any ways to handle such kind of error ?Question 2:Can some body tell us how to restart the media enocder using JSX from premier pro panel. Please let us know, is there a handle ?Regards,Anil Dora
I keep getting this same error for days now even after clearing memory caches and maxing my ram. It's always at frame 965 when the scene transition begins with a fade out into a fade in over each other in the aep file.- Encoding Time: 00:06:3207/16/2017 01:26:14 PM : Encoding Failed------------------------------------------------------------Export ErrorError compiling movie.Render ErrorRender returned error.Writing with exporter: H.264Writing to file: \\?\D:\Program Files\3dstemps\renderoutput\logo project.mp4Writing file type: H264Around timecode: 00:00:32:04 - 00:00:32:12Rendering at offset: 32.133 secondsComponent: H.264 of type ExporterSelector: 9Error code: -1609629695I can use any advice on resolving this as I only have a day left to finish this project.
I have a custom display of 7680x1080 that I produce content for. Before the 2017 upgrade, I could EXPORT A QuickTime Animation at 7680x1080 from AE and then use Media Encoder to re-encode to .264 at the same frame size. Now there seems to be a 4K limit to the width of .264 frame size. My only work around is to use Apple's Compressor for the .264 encoding. I primarily work on PC. Is there a reason for the imposed resolution limit to .264? Any way to work around it?Thank you
Hi, I'm trying to import a CCTV file (.264) so that I can export as a MPEG4 file. I have done this with various other files from the same location without any issues at all but for some reason this file doesn not want to transfer. Even when I move the file from it's location, it still shows the same error. Can anyone help?
I just got my first real editing workstation. Not Lucas worthy but handles everything I throw at it with smooth playback, even with multiple presets, green screen, etc. The problem is with Media Encoder, which I don't see a sub-forum for. Anyway, what happens is, I will start encoding with no problem, but as soon as I change focus to another window, like back to Premiere Pro, or a browser, or my email program, Media Encoder fails. If I leave it alone, it encodes to the end, but if I switch to another program, even if there are only 2 seconds left to encode, it fails.I never had this problem with my previous PC, an i5 core with 12 gig of RAM and an Intel 3D Graphics card. My new PC is a Dell 8920 with an i7 7700 core, 32 gigs of RAM and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050ti graphics card. Everything else screams on this PC except Media Encoder, and even that works perfectly sometimes, but this fail thing happens way too often. I can encode using Premiere Pro but that kind of foils the whole purp
hello, please I have some problem with media encoder when I transcoding xdcam .mov to mxf op1
When I'm using After effects and trying to render with Encoder, cpu usage is only going up to 20-30%. (Before when I used Encoder CC 2017 everything was good, and CPU usage was 100%)Video settings:1080p, 30fps, H.264, length~5minSpecs: intel i7-4720HQ, 16gt ram, gtx960m, windows 10
Hi all, I'm sorry if I've missed a previous thread on this topic, but I've thoroughly Googled and I haven't found an answer. Is it possible to set up a watch folder where I can drag and drop footage to automatically re-encode, including burning in a number of effects? For example, I have a project coming up where a large amount of clips will all require turning black and white, with the same grade, and the same audio mastering.I've seen an adobe tutorial referring to the use of dynamically linked adobe projects, but the idea of opening a stock AE project fifty times, inserting one piece of footage, then saving it out, doesn't sound like it offers any kind of time saving benefits.I hope my query makes sense, thanks very much in advance.Just as a note: I have no concerns over this order of workflow, and I understand that it's destructive in nature. If it's possible, the time benefits will be very, very valuable.
I have a series of short (~1 minute) flat 2D motion graphics projects. My workflow is usually an effortless compose in AE, then send off to AME for H264 render into .mp4 format. Just recently (as of about 2 days ago), I've started having unexplained fails in exports. AME begins the timeline, gets anywhere from :10 seconds to :40 seconds finished with that timeline, then aborts the export. No warning, no error code. It's not doing it all of the time, and I really can't see a distinguishable difference between the files it will and won't render. I don't see any pattern so far to when it will or won't fail (except that it seems to be more often on the projects with shortest deadlines!) My animations are all flat 2D, so there's no conflicts with ray tracing or other playback engines. There are no processor-heavy effects, motion blurs, or other intensive layering. I have minimal nested layers, pre-comps are all neatly trimmed
Why Adobe Flash Media Live Encoder on cloud multistream website Restream did stopped working i'm using Samsung R410 Plus and the OS Microsoft Windows 7 Service Pack who they not fixed this take a look.
Good afternoon,Thank you for taking the time to ponder a quick issue..I am very new to AE/AME, but I've put together a 5-second sequence that I can export to various formats successfully, including mp4 and webm. However, I see a noticeable drop in quality when I upload the webm file to Gfycat. Apparently for best results that needs to be uploaded with VP8 (among other things), but after some troubleshooting I finally narrowed down the problem in AME to that setting: The render freezes 12-15 seconds into the process, and the CPU maxes out indefinitely and the program hangs. No problem if I use VP9.1) What settings could be related to this problem? I've already restarted both programs. All current versions of CC.2) Is there a more direct way to get a high quality GIF without having to upload a webm to Gyfcat? When I try to create one directly I get color banding even with the highest settings. My web builder doesn't allow me to embed webm.I can add more information as needed.Thank y
Hi,I am trying to export a very large project, 7 hours of footage, minimal edits (title cards and clip transitions). AME takes 6-7 hours to export, gets to 0:00 time left, but doesn't finish, just sits there. In the folder there are the temporary files, the .acc and .m4v (? i forget the name of that one). On one attempt there was an additional mp4 file, but it wouldn't open and was 0 bytes in size.Any suggestions to fix this problem? Is my project just way to big?Should I use different settings?Let me know, thanks! Here are my specs:705 GB Free Space out of 1TBPreviously I tried these setting in AME:Currently I am trying to export on these settings:(note the difference in file size! 9.5 GB vs 49.3 GB^^ though the export takes almost as long..)
I am trying to encode a VOB file which is usually very simple but this time I am getting vertical picture lines in the output window. Doesn't seem to matter what codec I use it keeps spitting out a vertical line picture. Source says it's 10240x480(0.0625)
I have just finished exporting a film from davinci to prores 422 and am trying to convert it down to a mp4 file to upload for others to review online. But for some reason, when I drag it into media encoder, set the setting, and press the start button, the queue appears to start (the start button is replaced with a pause, and the bottom preview screen appears) but nothing happens past that and it just sits there. When I try to pause it and delete the item, it won't allow and I have to force quit the app. Am I missing some compatibility issue between encoder and davinci or with encoder and mov files?
I see this question was asked a year ago and nobody has answered it. I have the latest 2017 version of both PP and ME. I hit "export" within PP. ME opens---and nothing happens. The video I try to export never shows up in queue. I'll be live chatting & calling soon if you don't give us a solution, Adobe.
I'm looking to get these specs created so i can use it on our playout server but I can't figure out how to create the present. Any suggestions?
In After Effects, there's an option to select 32bit rendering. Is the same option available in AME? I tried using the "Render at maximum depth" option, but it doesn't seem to affect the result. Any ideas?Cheers
Hi!I have a problem that I've never experienced.Exporting mxf files from Premiere CC 2015.4 using Encoder 2015.4, the software export the files and show the notice:Avvertenza encoder: V022:vbv_delay underflow! What does it means? It's a problem that I can solve?I've never had a similar problem.thank you in advance!Giovanni
As said in the title:Should I enable Render at Maximum Quality for uploading to youtube in 4k? (h264)I read it's mostly usefull when scalling down video? How about scaling up? (upscaling from HD or zooming in)It raised the encoding time, but will it provide a better result? Or perhaps worse due to compression?
IGood Morning,I am very new to Media Encoder, so admit I may be wrong, but I cannot it seems put an MP$ file into ME and render OGG or WebM videos for use on a client's website. This is somewhat surprising as Adobe can be proud of their Dreamweaver/Muse apps, thus encouraging us to use them to design and develop good websites. What do other ME users do to get around this dilemma. I have seen some on-line converter services but need some advise on the good ones. By the way I am a Mac user. From my experience in other forums, I expect some great responses from fine people as usual
So, I tried to be sneaky and install the ProRes Media Encoder presets on my Windows 10 machine. Obviously they don't work. So now I've been trying to delete them from Media Encoder and.... I can't! It won't let me!So basically, I have a giant list of presets that aren't even usable, and I can't figure out a way to delete them. When I right-click on them, the "Delete" and "Reveal Preset File" buttons are both grayed out. I've searched the forums, and I found that someone else had a similar issue and was able to find their presets at: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\AME\6.0\Presets and then delete them manually. However, for me, I'm not finding any of my presets there. (And I'm on CC 2017, which means it'd be version 11.0, right? I'm not even seeing an 11.0 folder at all. Just the 6.0 folder because I have CS6 installed as well).Any ideas for how I can remove these presets? I realize I was dumb to even try the presets in the first place, haha. But a man can dream abo
I'm trying to import an image sequence which is not numbered sequentially in its filenames, so I am trying to import with the option "force alphabetical" (or however it is called in English – I'm using a different language).AME (11.1.0.170) only imports the first frame as a still.AE (14.2.0.198), on the other hand, imports the same sequence as expected.Anything I am missing in AME?Thanks!
