I have searched for an answer but can't find one.Why do some of my custom presets have the CC symbol next to them?I don't have syncing turned on so nothing should be going to the cloud. Thanks in advance.
I work for a small cable TV company. We insert advertising on national networks (USA, ESPN, etc). We've had customers call in complaining that some of our commercials are much louder than the network programming. We receive video files from advertisers and then encode them to put them on our system. Using Adobe Encoder, I see that there are several audio settings when exporting video. I am not familiar with all the settings. Is there a standard I should be using to normalize anything being exported?
AME is crashing while I am encoding a aerial 4k video to be published on vimo. I have tried numerous times getting a 2 minute with a music audio sound track with it to get encoded for vimo. It does not always crash at the same spot. I have AME 2017.1.2 with the following computer specs:AMD Ryzen chip64 gb RamWindows 7 64 bitNvidia 1080 graphics card1TB samsung ssdIf anyone can shed some light on this I would appreciate it.Thanks in advanceRchjr
Tried a large multitude of things that google told me to do. It eems to be a universal issue (won't render or fails to render after 1 minute no matter what program I use)*only using presetsHere's the error code:Writing with exporter: H.264Writing to file: /Users/seamlessbrand3/Desktop/18-035-17_VideoCompanyHistory.mp4Writing file type: H264Around timecode: 00;01;03;19 - 00;01;03;28Rendering at offset: 63.640 secondsComponent: H.264 of type ExporterSelector: 9Error code: -1609629695------------------------------------------------------------- Source File: /Users/seamlessbrand3/Desktop/18-035-17_VideoCompanyHistory_AME/tmpAEtoAMEProject-18-035-17_VideoCompanyHistory1.aep- Output File: /Users/seamlessbrand3/Desktop/18-035-17_VideoCompanyHistory.mp4- Preset Used: YouTube 720p HD- Video:- Audio:- Bitrate:- Encoding Time: 00:00:0006/26/2017 11:38:34 AM : Encoding Failed
I have an audio files that has a .WPL extension and would like to convert it to mp3 and AME doesn't recognize it. I'm surprised that AME doesn't broaden their variety of encodable files.
Here's the problem:I'm trying to meet a spec. for a client in which they have specified an H.264 with NO frame reordering and 44.1 kHz/320 Kbps AAC audio. I have attempted this using two methods: 1. setting up a profile within a .mov container, and 2. as a .mp4. My issues/questions are as follows:1. When setting up a profile in a .mov container, I am able to turn frame reordering off, but when I set my audio to AAC 44.1 kHz, the option to encode with a Bit Rate of 320 Kbps is not an option! It just defaults to 128 Kbps. This would be rejectable as a spec option. Is there some way I can up the Bit Rate to 320 Kbps?2. When setting up a profile as a .mp4, turning off frame reordering is NOT an option. I'm assuming it defaults to allow frame reordering, but is there any way I can turn it off? DOES it in fact automatically utilize frame reordering? If not, this would be rejectable as a spec option. Thanks for any clarification!-Thom
There are probably other ways to solve this problem, and I am very open to suggestions on it. I'll describe what I'm trying to do ...Presently, I'm creating a bunch of "how to" videos. On one computer, I am capturing the screen at 4K. On a second computer, I am capturing a webcam and audio of what is happening. There are many tools that allow recording like this for YouTube or Twitch. I have looked at several of them, but the end result seems to always be a "mixed" stream of encoded video. I don't want the webcam overlay all the time, and maybe I want to change it in post-production. So, this requires two separate recordings. It seems to me that a single encoder could record two separate video streams to an MP4 (or even MKV container if necessary). Then I would have my audio and two video streams in sync. As it stands, when I pull them into After Effects, the videos and audio are wildly out of sync. I compensate for this by using about 45 seconds of video at a time - before the audio get

Tengo la ultima versión (2017) tengo un problema cuando exporto cualquier proyecto de Premiere, nada más arrancar el programa se cuelga. ¿os sucede a vosotros?
disclaimer: I am no expert on this subject, this is a school projectI've been working on a video for 3 months now and it is due tomorrow, I am unsure if I will have it rendered by then at this rate.I decided to do a simple test render (half of 1080p, 3 mbps, H.264) so I could point out any mistakes and fix them before I took on the final render, the estimated time went from 3 hours to 8, so I decided to check over the video within AE for any taxing effects. I removed a fractal noise background animation because it was causing the ram preview to be slow while I was making the video but other than that I decided everything else was essential to the video. So I decided to do the final render you can see the settings in the picture (but i can provide more info if needed) the video is 11m 30s at 1080p etc. I started the render it at first it said it would take 56 hours, but 10 min later it said it would take 6 hours. So i was satisfied with the amount, and let it be. it rendered for about 2
Hey guys, I would like to render 4K files , as a MXF op -atom- format and codec. but adobe encoder gives me only the MXF op 1a option which is not good for me because it is not 'native' and requires a third party App to Preview it. anyone heard of some way to do it Via Adobe Apps or others.. thanks
We have a project that is 5 1920x1080 screens being projected. The client wants one large file at 9600x1080. Is this possible?
Hello,I have discovered that H.264 files rendered out in AME 2017 are nearly 50% lower bitrate than those rendered out in AME 2015 and 2014. This is a problem as I need to utilize the previous version of AME for a project and have matching bitrates.Does anybody have any advice or is anyone else experiencing this same situation?Note: I am comparing the preset "Match Source - Medium bitrate" at 720p with my source file being 1080p.Note 2: After further testing, in AME 2015, I have to set the "Target bitrate" to 1.8 mbps to match the setting of 3 mbps in AME 2017.Thank you and Blessings,Steven Dunn
Hi all,Very confused at the moment with a render that I'm trying to create from After Effects.I have a project in After Effects with a comp of 5 seconds flat and am rendering with Media Encoder. When I render my mac says the file is 5 seconds but then I upload it to our system it says 5 seconds 5 milliseconds. I have since downloaded MediaInfo and this states the files are 5 seconds 5 milliseconds.Due to the system I'm uploading it too the file needs to be 5 seconds FLAT!Can't anyone help me fix this or understand why Media Encoder is doing this?!Thank you in advance!
Hi, Im noticing that everytime I download my Adobe Media Encoder settings from the cloud I lose all my custom preset group folders. I then have to manually move each preset back into new folders I have to create each time. Its quite unproductive.I would expect that when you upload your settings it would include all your custom folders you make. Its easy to replicate. Just make a custom folder, drag a few presets into it. Then from the AME menu select "Sync settings now" and select "Upload Settings". Then restart AME and go back to the sync menu and select 'Sync settings now', this time choose "Download Settings".Do all you folders come back with your presets inside or are they missing like me?
Is it possible export H.264 file as wmv in Media Encoder? If it is possible, what preset do I need to use? Thanks for any answers in advance.
Hi there,I need uncompressed audio and significant video compression for 4K 60FPS material. What codec / setting would you recommend. Prores 422 Proxy gives me too big files, h.264 compresses audio, but if I choose "Quicktime" in Adobe Media Encoder and then separately h.264 as video codec (which allows me uncompressed audio option) the resolution is limited to 2000x2000. Am I doing something terribly wrong? Thanks in advance for your answers!
I am trying to create an encoding preset, in MXF OP1a DV25 PAL Widescreen, and AME crashes everytime I try to put in a look/LUT to the preset. When I choose to browse for luts and the explorer window appears it crashes before I have even located the lut. Running Windows 10 Pro, i7 6800K, GTX 1070. Windows is up to date, graphic drivers up to date, all adobe apps is up to date. Tried launching AME whilst pressing SHIFT, still crashes when doing that.
Hi all.I have read a lot of discussions lately about Media Encoder slowing the PC down. I have the similar issue. As I could see, people have trouble answering the topic because of lack of information. I have gathered all evidences I could. Hope this will help and will be glad to hear an answer from you.First of all, my specs.Product:AME CC 2017 update from April 2017After Effects CC 2017 update from April 2017PC Specs:Motherboard: MSI Z170-A PRO (MS-7971)CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHzVideo: Gigabyte G1 NVidia GeForce GTX 1080 8GBRAM: Team Group 16GB (8x2) 2400 GHZ1 HDD split in 3 disks and 1 SSD where Windows and Adobe installedProject used: https://bit.ly/2n4wtIy (not mine), free, found on YouTube.Project Name (from folder): Unknown geometry. Now the issue. As I could see, AME, when started, starts to use "Handles" process. As the project is running, "Handles" process is starting to increase in size (mine in standby is around 40k, in picture you can see already over
After years of working with Adobe products (since CS3) I am completely at a loss with the CC Adobe Media Encoder. It is having an extremely negative effect on my ability to provide clients with an accurate delivery date for their product.Recently, I worked on a relatively simple project in After Effects; some green screen compositing of people in a stationary car with a moving background.Due to poor lighting during filming, I had to chroma key two copies of the same video separately to adjust for color variances. I then nested those compositions into another comp and did a little masking for edge cleanup, where necessary. Finally, I added the moving background in another layer. To recap; I was working with two 1080p 59.94 fps video clips with no sound. One of the clips was nested twice inside a composition and the other clip was used as-is as a background layer. The only effect used was Keylight and the only modification to the clip was masking. The length of the final composition was fou
Hi,tried to render a video project of Premiere CS6 within Media Encoder (over night) – but it failed: size of created mp4 file (h.264) too small, 2 GB instead of about 10 GB (duration of the full HD video: about 1h) → not playable e.g. in VideoLAN.However the log file seems to be okay, rendering duration, too:AMEEncondingLog.txt:- Genutzte Vorgabe: 50p - Video: 1920x1080, 50 fps, Progressive - Audio: AAC, 192 KBit/s, 48 kHz, Stereo - Bitrate: VBR, 2 Durchgänge, Ziel 32.00 Mbps, Max. 40.00 Mbps - Zeit für Kodierung: 03:40:5006/08/2017 06:02:57 AM : Datei erfolgreich kodiertMaybe the cause of this strange behaviour: too less free disc space? Rendered it on the windows 10 partition (SDD) which contains the cache files, too.But if this is the cause, why no appropriate error message? Thanks!Carlos

Hello there.I'm trying to export/render out a video meant for Youtube that's an hour and 35 minutes long. However despite several attempts, the end result is always a blurry, ugly mess. What can I do to fix this? Is it my settings? If so, here's what I have everything set to:Is it the bit-rate (it's definitely the bit-rate isn't it)? Should I lower it? Anything I should untick like Maximum Render Quality? Please help me out, the rendering takes three hours and I can't waste my days trying to get this right by making shots in the dark.Thank you.
