Adobe Media Encoder

In earlier versions, we were able to change the MP3 sample rate from 48kHz to 44 by changing the Codec Quality in the Basic Audio Settings from Fast to High, but that setting is now missing in the latest version. Would it be possible to bring it back? This is a needed feature for us since we use audio for Adobe Animate which does not like importing 48kHz files. Downgrading to v23.0.1 brings it back on a PC, but not on a Mac. We'd prefer to not have to stay with 23.0.1 forever. As a workaround, we can change to 44kHz on the WAV preset, then convert to MP3, but we'd rather not have to add an extra step and extra files. Hello world,I have a batch job coming up I'd love to encode + publish direct to YouTube but I have an issue.I hold Manager / Editor roles on several YT channels. When I connect/allow Adobe to access my YT account I don't see the various channels I work on. Meaning, I'd guess, that if I ran a batch it'd go into my Mgmt account.Is there a way to choose my various channels under my account please?Cheers,Lu

Bonjour à tous, Je suis sous le joug d'une immense frustration quand j'essaie d'exporter des fichiers via Adobe Encoder. J'explique : quand j'exporte une vidéo depuis After Effect vers la file d'attente de Media Encoder, tout se passe bien. J'appuie sur play pour exporter la vidéo depuis Media Encoder, le temps de chargement est raisonnable, la vidéo s'anime sans fautes sous la barre de chargement. À la fin du chargement, aucun message d'erreur n'apparait, je constate tout de même un point d'interrgoation jaune sur la coche verte de fin de chargement, lequel me dit que mon codage s'est terminé avec des avertissements. Lorsque je clique sur le lien de la vidéo, celle-ci est illisible et ne pèse que 24 octets. --> Frustration immense. Le message d'erreur est le suivant : L’importateur de fichiers a détecté une incohérence dans la structure de fichier de Composition 1_3.mp4. La lecture et l’écriture des métadonnées (XMP) de ce fichier ont été désactivées.Adobe Media Enco

Hey! I have a problem. I'm using the latest Adobe Media Encoder 13.0.2 (Build 39) on MacOS 10.14.2. I have i7-7700k with Vega64 and 32GB of RAM..Problem is that after adding 2 or more items to queue and starting the render process. And after starting queue, the exit promt window pops up. When I press No, it comes back in like half a second. So far have tried to reinstall everything, cleared cache. Problem is still there. Thanks to that it is impossible to leave something rendering over night without some stupid macro workaround method.Am I the only one who is getting that error?

Imagine you go to sleep with hundreds of files render in Media Encoder. just to wake up and see all the files rendered are only 24 bytes. Just to remember then, that you had the 23.1 version and that one latin accent in the name of the folder was the cause of the problem. Yes, I know I have to update to the 23.2 version, I tough it was automaticaly updated since Premiere is now 23.2 in my laptop. What a joke is now Creative Cloud, every update full of bugs and crash. I'ts not even "PRO" anymore, I don't know why Adobe it's killing what use to be trust and proffesional software.

Hello, a question for the developers. Since CC 2022 I see that versions of AEFT and AME are the same: 2021AEFT 18.4.6 + AME 15.4.1 2022AEFT 22.2.1 + AME 22.2.1 = same 2023AEFT 23.2.1 + AME 23.2.1 = same Is this a coincidence or could one rely on this same version number in future releases? And if so, would these versions be released at the same moment?I see Beta is different, but that would make sense anyway. Asking so I can come up with a solid version checker. no matter what i do, media Encoder fails, it has been 2 months of this issue persisting.i have tried older versions of ME, AE, reinstalling, remaking the project with new files, its only about 15 min long, i have tried changing every setting i can possibly think of and research. no solutions. i even tried to remake the project on another computer and the same thing happens, after 2-3 min of rendering, the file FAILS, i have no idea what is happening or why. im about DONE with this nonsene from Adobe.Im using all current software, and my PC is able to handle the workload just fine. Does anyone have asolution to this problem??Can Adobe get their butts in gear and work on fixing issues!

All this works as expected. Adding item to queue for transcoding is very slow in Encoder 2023. Any suggestions how to change this?

I am getting regular BSOD with the lastest version of ME. It happens precisely when new renders are kicking off.After restart I get maybe two or 3 renders ... then it happens again.

When I export Video/Media from Animate I often receive the error message: Adobe Media Encoder failed to encode with the following exception :TypeError: null is not an object.I got the message when I was working with the Classroom in a Book lesson files but did not bother to deal with it because I did not need an mp4 but thought it strange that a file, provided by Adobe Press, I could not export.On November 4 and December 7 I was able to export from animations without a problem.Yesterday I exported an animation to mp4 and it worked too, thought the problem was solved.Today I worked over some details in the animation from yesterday, saved it with a new name, wanted to export it to mp4 and got the error message. Testing the animation from the day before I was able to export, today I could not export it anymore.I noticed that there is an update for Media Encoder, updated, made a restart, it did not help.Tested an animation from an Adobe Press lesson file, also get the error

Hello,For years I've been happily importing MOV files into Adobe Media Encoder but for some reason I now get an error message telling me that I cannot do so as file format is not supported.  Does anyone please know why this could be, or indeed have any suggestion as to how I can work around this as it's rather crucial to my workflow?Thanks in advance for any help.Mark.

Howdy, I'm receiving content as image sequences, and transcoding to a video format. I have been unsuccessful in using Watch Folders to perform this task. As soon as sequences begin transferring to the watch folder, AME begins encoding each image as individual videos.  Is there a way to flag a watch folder as containing image sequences? I would expect that after 5 minutes of inactivity the transcode would start.  Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

Hi there,Using media encoder 2022. I have test.jsx script contains alert("Hello");I have batch script run.bat which contains below."C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro 2022\Adobe Premiere Pro.exe" --console es.processFile "test.jsx" When executed.Media encoder shows error and doesn't execute. But, tried the same from console of media encoder with below command.es.processFile "test.jsx"It works fine and alert pops up. Tried other commands in bat file es.executeScript , es.process ,  --executescript.None seems to work.How to solve this? Did anyone solve this?

eu estou tentado gravar um video curdo em um dvd-r, ja testei varios render diferente mas na hora que passo para o cd/dvd-r ele vai numa boa, quando eu vou por o cd em um leitor de dvd (leitor de dvd para tv) ele nao funciona, diz disco nao encontrado, ou formato nao compativel, alguem pode me ajudar?

I'm having trouble exporting my videos from Premier Pro 2023 with my color grading. If I do a straight export not using media encoder, all is right with the world, color grading-wise. If I send it to media encoder, my color grading is missing. A multitude of YouTube videos and webpages tell me that I need to uncheck "import sequences natively'' under preferences in media encoder… However, it is greyed out so I cannot uncheck it. I also checked and verified that all three subdirectories on my Windows 11 machine are identical in the Lumetri subdirectories of both AME 2023 and Premiere Pro 2023. Ideas?

I am just curious and would like to know what exactly does unchecking the "Import sequences natively" option do in comparison to having it checked.

I just got my new MacBook Pro and clean install my creative cloud programs. I launch media encoder 2023, it stuck at loading importerquicktime.bundle for almost 8 mins to go in. Is this version have bug on it ?

Trying to Encode a video that was digitally transferred from a VHS to an MOV. I need it to Encode to MPEG-2 but the file is not encoding only audio when I start the encoder and the output is in black. Picture below. Please and thanks for the help in advance.

So I just want to ask if it's normal that Media Encoder become practicly impossible to select, move and do anything to the file list when there is a lot of media in it. I'm making some SD h264 mp4 files in Premiere from some Youtube rips, and AME insists on preparing 42 audio files before making the (mono) audio output. It goes through each of the 42 quite quickly but it massively increases the processing time.  Whatever the codec the Youtube files may have had originally, they have been rendered out into Adobe Audition beforehand so they are standard wav files.  Why is it doing this with these particular files? It doesn't normally, when processing similar SD video files using the same settings. thanks

Every clip in my video exported from premiere pro is played back as a still image (video and render settings posted)

It appears that encoder 2021 was uninstalled and 2023 was installed. But no other 2023 products. Where can I get 2021? I still have After effects 2021, this was not uninstalled but is now useless as I have programs that integrate with media encoder. I get a different set of problems using After effects\media encoder 2022. Not least of all the dreadfull Visual Studio implementation and application performance.  

Before the latest update, when I sent something to the Media Encoder, it would automatically pop up in front of Premiere. Now, it stays in the background and I have to command-tab to get it to the front. Is there a setting to fix this???
