Adobe Media Encoder

I have a 3080TI and Adobe Media Encoder/Adobe Premier are not using it to render even if Hardware accelaration is enabled. Its a major problem, cause i'm sure rendering with it will be 100% faster than with the cpu (9900k)   [Branched from very old thread]

For a recent project, I chose a deep red background, but when I exported it, it was black!Thanks for any help.

Just started getting this weird green screen in Encoder.  It's linked from After Effects.  It seems to be just this one comp.  It exported fine the other day.  Before I realized it was happening, I exported it yesterday and the file was just green as well. Any idea what is happening?

Hi there,I have bat file with below contents"C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Premiere Pro 2022\Adobe Premiere Pro.exe" --console es.processFile "test.jsx" When media encoder is closed and i run bat file, jsx script runs fine.When media encoder is open and i run bat, jsx script doesn't run and error pops up in media encoder. Any Solution for this?

So i'm trying to export my project which i've created in after effects v23.0 but idk why my medio encoder keeps crashing need help asap 

I have a long sequence, about 90mins, 4K @60fps  , with a lot of tracks. Does Media Encoder (or other Adobe product) support rendering the video in say 15-minute chunks and then "stitch them together" in the end? Or perhaps output in a single file but start where the last one left off. The actual mechanism doesn't matter, I'm willing to try anything as long as I can accomplish spreading out the render over multiple days without losing my progress. Thank you!

When I render MP4 from AE by AME (this is now forced by Adobe) then in comps with background set to White rendered MP4 have BLACK background.WTF? Anyone else?I missed something?Besides rendering now everything 3 times slower with AME (ram preview + slow AME startup + AME render = especially peaceful with 5K footage ) it is now need to make always Solid as background in comps??

After I had trouble with Media Encoder on an older Mac (Macbook Pro 2012), I wanted to reinstall it. However, after I uninstalled ME 15.x (2021), which is the last version running under OSX (10.14 in this case), I cannot reinstall it. Creative Cloud tells me that the current version (23.x) is not compatible with Mac OSX but there is no option to install the compatible 15.x (2021) version again.This is a big problem because other apps that I'm working with (e.g. Character Animator) rely on this version of ME to export files.The Adobe website claims that "major versions" of their apps would still be available for download but if I click 'More actions' > 'Other versions', no older versions of ME appear. Also the the wensite don't offer this version for download. Can CC not be used on older Macs any more?Is there any possiblity to install Media Encoder 15.x without downloading it from some shady websites and keep CC running on older Macs?

Adobe Media Encoder 2023 is damaged and can’t be opened. I get this message when I try to launch Media Encoder. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software twice.

Why Media Encoder doesn't let me incorporate metadata inside the video output file (that option is not selectable)? Please see attached screenshot

I have to encode a video for german broadcast (according to ARD_ZDF_HDF01a specs).So can use the profile in AME and use the Video limiter.But even the strictest setting limits RGB values to 0-255 NOT 16-135.Is this correct or is it a mistake in the menu or is it a bug?

Ich muss ein video für eine Rundfunkanstalt liefern (nach ARD_ZDF_HDF01a specs).Also wollte ich das Profil in AME zum wandeln nutzen und einen video limiter hinzufügen.-Aber selbst die strengste Einstellungen limitiert RGB nur auf 0-255 NICHT auf 16-235.Ist das tatsächlich der Fall oder nur ein Anzeigefehler im Menü?

Hola. Estoy trabajando mis ediciones en Premier Pro, con la versión 2023, cierro el proyecto, abro la aplicación de Media Encoder para importar mis secuencias y hacer render. Hasta ahí todo normal. Después selecciono mis settings (1920x1080, 8MBPS, H264) y mando a render., cuando se completa intento reproducir el video pero no me deja, no me da ninguna previsualización del video, cosa que antes sí se mostraba. Será un problema de la actualización 2023? Intenté abrirlo en DLC y tampoco se abre, intenté llevar el archivo que exporté nuevamente a Premier y me señala que hay un error de compresión. Comparto una imagen del archivo cuando intento abrirlo. Regresé a exportar directo en Premier, al finalizar el render tuve el mismo problema. 

Hello,I'm curious about a Media Encoder behavior while rendering.  After the progress bar completes (reaches 100%), there seems to be a long pause before the file is finally written and a check indicates render completion.  Does anyone have any idea why this is?  Sometimes I think the render is failing because it's hard to guess how long this pause will be.  For example, the render below paused at this screen fro about 4 minutes.

Greetings all,Trivia question--but I found the same nasty surprise as everyone else when I tried to start using the 2022 apps, including Media Encoder, namely that the 2022 versions aren't anywhere near as fast as the 2021 versions. A rough calculation showed about a 30% speed loss from 2021 to 2022, and now I've noticed an approximate 50% speed loss from 2021 to 2023. (A project that took 12 hours to export with 2021 has now been going for 23 hours and still isn't within sight of being done.) The video is about eight and a half minutes long, and relies heavily on dynamic-linked AE content, which is why it takes so long even under ideal circumstances. I'm doing all this on the same hardware (I have the 2021, 2022, and 2023 apps all installed next to each other), and it's on an MSI Raider GE76 with an i9-11980HK with 64GB RAM and a geForce RTX 3080 laptop GPU. So that leaves two questions--one, does anybody know what's causing this massive speed loss? Trying to create Proxies so that I can work with 4K footage. When I click Create Proxy. Error message appears. Adobe Media Encoder is not installed. Please download and install it to use this feature. Go to https://creative.adobe.com/apps. I go ther and try to install but then I get another Error message.Conflict updating Media EncoderSave your work and close the following programs before continuing.Learn more- Adobe Media Encoder 2023 Please help! Paul

I tried multiple fixes includingChanging from cuda to software.Changing format of renderUsing media toolNo plugins runningTried changing location of project and render It is a 1 min video and should render much fasterIt gets stuck on 6% or 78th frame for over 1 hour System specsAMD 5950x 16 cores at 4.8Rtx 3090 16gb4000mhz ddr4 ram 

when i export a very small video as an animated gif with adobe media encoder the file increases GREATLY in size like a 700 Kb videos to a 59 MB gifevery single timewhat am i doing wrong

I just ran some clips through the Watch folder process.   This is incredibly frustrating and annoying!   1) THERE ARE NO upper level user settings for the behavior we need.   2) IT MOVED EVERY SOURCE CLIP from the original folder to it's own unique Source Folder ... making a NIGHTMARE problem for getting the clips back into one frickkin' folder.   Why oh why did it put EVERY clip into a separate folder? Who on earth would ever want that behavior?   Neil

I would like to export AVI files from Adobe Media Encoder (CS5 or later) on a Mac running 10.6.8 or later. Am I able to buy the codecs for Mac to do so?

Hello, im currently working on a project for school where i have to put all these .jpg files inot one video using Media Encoder (23 edition) and i get this error message whenever i try to drag and drop a picture. I cant even see the pictures if i search for the file using the encoder. PLEASE HELP!
