Adobe Media Encoder

I am on macOS Big Sur Version 11.2.3. I'm using the most up to date Beta Apps of media encoder and premiere. I bought a new M1 Mac to make editing seameless and easy.  I've only edited 2 videos on the M1, these were very simple videos, just a few seperate clips and some audio. But on this 3rd one I run into trouble. This project was had more files. I shot some .mov files on my iphone and wanted to edit them in premiere pro. I moved 35 .mov files into premiere.  When I went to edit, 5 or 6 were showing as green and some gave the yellow media error. Even if I got them to play, they were like the footage was very shaky. I did some research and found that premiere doesn't handle .mov files very well. So, I went to encode them to ProRes in media encoder. I queued up all of the files, and then after getting through the first 3 files, on the 4th one media encoder stops. Then the spinny circle of death pops up on my mac. And the system says that my M1 has run out of Application

Im working on a project on adobe after effects and when i try to export it in media encoder it opens the app without a problem but then just stays blank. Nothing loads, i cant see any project or its settings. I tried updating both apps and that was not the problem. If some one has a solution or knows what the problem is let me know

Hi, I have A LOT of problems with AME. It doesn't output frome after effect and when I want to export renders from premiere I get the message my media is offline... ?! The workflow by leting AME render while I can continue using premiere is so nice. But after the last updates it's a big mess. Isn't it better if adobe goes back to a working version instead of the users de- and reinstalling all the time..?

Hey guys. After updating the Media Encoder, Premiere and After packages, I have the rendering crashing when using OpenCl acceleration. (Using CPU all right).I noticed that after a minute or two the rendering always stops, and the same happens when editing in Premiere. After the crash I need to close the program (which remains unresponsive), to return the preview.I've already uninstalled everything, including Creative Cloud Desktop. I deleted everything from user\AppData\Adobe, but the behavior continues.I checked in other programs, I have DaVince Resolve installed, and GPU accelerated Render works OK.The error I believe is in the OpenCl library, but I don't know how to get the error log. Windows Platform (10) 64bit:Premiere Pro 22.0After Effects 22.01Media Encoder 22.0 I appreciate if anyone knows a solution

im trying to encode an avi file to an mp4 and it keeps failing as soon as it starts how can i solve this issue?

Hi guys, please, I'm having problems with the last update of Ae, where I can't import Ps files, because it crashes and doesn't work at all (Retain Layer Sizes) It's not hardware problems (I imagine) because in previous version works fast and without any problem, PC is a Ryzen 2600x, 32gb RAM and Geforce 1070 6gb. Please, if anyone can help out as I can't work on the new version, thank you.

Hola a todos normalmente soy quie absuelve preguntas en el foro pero eta vez tengo una que no puedo solucionar.Instale la version 2022 de Media Encoder y tengo dos problemas:Se instala en ESPAÑOL cuando mi software esta configurado para que se instale en Ingles Si quiero exportar un proyecto desde AFTER EFFECTS el programa abre pero se congela y no me deja exportar, si lo hago desde Premiere Demora una eternidad es hacer el vinculo dinamico.En la version 2021 nunca tuve problemas.Saludos a todos

Update made with copy presets turned on. Every preset now gone, and, of course, remove old version also turned on, so no previus version. Any ideas, or should I just remember to ALWAYS make a backup before Adobe update?

Hi,When I put a mp4 with 3 audio tracks in Media Encoder, it encode with only the first audio track. Can you help me ?Thanks.

I have a problem - would hugely appreciate some help.I've created a 20.7second After Effects movie comprising of still photographs.I add it to the render queue and render in the usual way to a .mov file.I then encode the .mov in AME - only to find that the final .mp4 file is missing some images from the end. Can anyone advise - am I doing something wrong? Thanks in advanceGary

Desde hace dos días, Premiere no conecta con Media Encoder.- Al exportar un vídeo en Premiere, no me deja añadirlo a la Cola (Media Encoder).- Al crear proxies para archivos subidos a Premiere, Encoder abre, pero la Cola está vacía y el proxy no se puede crea (solo la carpeta que debería contenerlo). He desintalado Media Encoder y vuelto a instalarlo, pero sigue sin conectar con Premiere. Ayuda, por favor. Gracias.

I am not sure what is going on but since the new update I cannot export ANY of my work. I have tried to resatrt my computer and even start a new rpoject. Deleting my current project and making a whole new one and even deleting the sections it says there is a problem encoding with. But it just makes up a new section that's the problem. How can this be resolved? How does it happen that the result between software render and GPU Cuda render has different results in quality and file size?I had to use software renderer for some time because my AE (and the Media Encoder) crashed multiple times after the 2022 update while rendering.  File Size (same sequence):Software: 9mbGPU Cuda: 7mb Quality:Software: GPU Cuda:It's 100% the same file and settings, I rendered the first, reset the queue, changed the name and swapped the renderer.The text is created in 4k in AE inserted as AE sequence into Full HD Premiere squence and exported as Full HD in Media Encoder.

I used Adobe Premiere Pro edit and merge some clips then export with Adobe Media Encoder. But after finish, It only export 4 file separate and dont combine them into 1.

Been working on a medium-sized project. Using AE's built-in renderer to test. Exported PNG sequences have the default filename format: [comp_name]_nnnnn.png where nnnnn is the 5-digit frame number padded with leading zeros. That's great, no problems. Now I want to use AME 2021 (not upgrading until bugs are resolved) to export all the comps in the background while I do other stuff in AE. The resulting filenames by default are: [comp_name]nnn.png where nnn is the 3-digit frame number padded with leading zeros. Umm, what??? For seemingly no logical reason AME drops the "_" between comp name and removes two digits to the frame number. I looked online to see if there is a way to customize the output filename format from either AE or AME but found nothing. I'm hoping one of you knowledgeable experts knows how to do this. Does anybody know if the newer versions have option to customize PNG sequence filenames? Thanks in advance! - DK

Hi! i use macbook pro 2018 BigSur 11.4 and when i try to open adobe media encoder it's show "adobe media encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue". it's not opening. i use latest updated version 2021 from creative cloud

I used to render fine out of Premiere and AFX, no 3rd application needed. I basically now wait until ME loads to open a dialog box that gives me the exact options as I had before. I used to never touch media encoder, what...does it encode with more gusto or something? It really feels like a giant pile of you know.

my media encorder keeps failing.  this aggervates me so much!! i've tried so many times, after 6 hours this happens everytime. i need help ASAP

Before today I was able to export After Effects compositions through AME, because I export as H264 mp4 (using AE- File-Export-Add to Adobe Media Encoder Queue). Suddenly, any composition I export to AME, does not appear in the AME queue. I reinstalled AME to ensure it is up to date, and my after effects is up to date as well (17.1.1 Build 34)Queue tab in AME remains empty, and if I try double clicking the queue and opening the After Effects project file, it takes me to a blank "Import After Effects Composition" screen with an endless loading bar with the message "Connecting to project..." I am using an iMac (retina 4k, 21.5 inch, 2019)Processor 3.2 GHz 6-core Intel Core i7Memory 32 GB 2667 MHz DDR4Graphics Radeon Pro Vega 20 4 GBMy AME renderer is set to Mercury Playback Engine Software OnlyComputer Firewall is currently turned off 

Title. Need a fix, system worked fine before update. Parallel Encoding is on, tried gpu and software rendering. Tried the + option and got an infinite load.

All of the sudden when i go to render with media encoder it says "After Effects: AEGP Plugin AEDynamicLinkServer: Adobe Media Encoder is not installed. Please download and install it to use this feature. Go to https://creative.adobe.com/apps." when i close that window another pops up and says "After Effects:" AEGP Plugin AEDynamicLinkServer: Failed to connect to Adobe Media Encoder." ive tried several youtube videos with no progress, ive uninstalled and reinstalled media encoder and after effects with no progress. getting desperate at this point and im not going to be spending 30 bucks a month for something i cant even use. everything is up to date, im running Windows 10 & this has been happening for more than a week now.
