If I remember correctly, preferences are saved in a folder on your computer and one of the ways you can reset preferences is to delete this file. So maybe this file could be backed-up somewhere else and then restored later? Just a thought. I wonder what others are thinking. Maybe there is another way.    ... View more

In a way, you can export frames from the timeline because the export frame feature in the Program Monitor works with the timeline. And yes, you can use a keyboard shortcut to make it quicker. And as you scroll through the timeline, the frame under the playhead gets exported.    ... View more

I often use both. When I deliver AE and PR courses for different companies, they often supply their own machines and they're both Macs and PCs and they seem to work the same in terms of performance.
