What happens sometimes on Windows is Photoshop doesn't start and after showing Welcome Screen disappears. I noticed that when this happens, if I open Task Manager, and start Photoshop again, it starts just fine.    ... View more

In Photoshop, you can crop an image cropping the sides independently, by just dragging one side handle when you have it set to Ratio in the Options Bar. Is this not working for you?    ... View more
