Is this possible? I made a bunch of markers on the source clip, mainly for the reason that if i had have placed the markers in the sequence clip their position relative to the source is changed (wrong) every time i cut or extend the source clip in the sequnece. So the markers only show up in the Markers pallete whe the source pallete is in focus (active with the thin blue border line showing). But I'm obviously doing the cuts in the sequnece, so i have need to move between the Source and Sequnece window panels constantly and it would be super handy if I could hit a button and whereever the playhead is in the sequence timeline relative to the currently selected Source clip is provided to the Source clip playhead for the purpose of repositioning iself to that location. This sounds like an easy thing to script in ExtendScript (.jsx) but I've only ever scripted in AI/PS/ID years ago and really don't have time to take this on at this time with deadline looking. Hoping there's some kind of shortcut or at least faster workflow than the random zoom out/out/out some more then in/in pressing of buttons until I'm aligned to the sequence timeline in the source timeline. And guess what, the next marker (Shift+M) /previous marker (Cmd+Shift+M) shortcuts don't work in the Source pallete for me, only in the Sequence. I've even tried custom setting them, and in Sequnece only the ones above work, the other defaults like Cmd+Opt+Shift+'→' don't work at all. I'm having lots of random inconsistency with shortcuts in PremierPro and I use them extensively in every other app I use and have used for last few deacdes (dozens of apps), so I like to think it's not user error. From a graphics deisgn background, it's always puzzled me how unsophisticated the GUIs for most NLEs are c.f. AI and ID and many other graphic design and developer softwares. Simple repeditive tasks require a bunch of tools and you can't even hold down a modifier to access the selection tool from other tools… I'm keen to look at DaVinci Resolve soon, because they seeem to be addressing these concerns in the most recent couple of versions.
