Adding this, which may work for some. It may at least be an improvement on Adobe "customer service", which gets worse every year, as it is now incumbent upon users to provide needed technical help. Clear cache. Make sure your folders have write permissions. Switch to "Metadata" view tab in Bridge. Try changing a star rating. If it works, you can go back to your usual view (e.g., "Essentials"). Worked for me, YMMV. [EDIT] -- Well, looks like in my case, I cannot have audio preview (auto) and star ratings at the same time. If I turn off auto-preview audio files, then star ratings work, and vice-versa. In either case, Bridge is pretty much useless.
