Hi everybody! A simple rectangle, filled with Effect / Texture / Grain / Horizontal. When rotating that rectangle by let’s say 20°, the mentioned effect seems to stay unrotated, so its orientation is no longer aligned with the orientation of the (now rotated) rectangle. What to do in order to rotate the mentioned effect according to its object? Thanks a lot!

Thanks for your reply, Joel! Let’s assume I’m a typesetter who has to do the composition for a 100,000 words novel to be set in justified text. I am free (in a way) to chose the font, the point size and so on. That’s why I’d like to know, which combination of the above mentioned things would result in the fewest »yellow lines«.

Hi there! Can it be there’s a »rule« regarding paragraphs in justified text setting, saying that there should be no hyphenation between the very last line of a paragraph and the line before it? See the hyphenated word »Vorgän-gen« near the end of the paragraph screenshot below. Such a rule would not allow that hyphenation ... Have you all ever heard of that rule, and if so, do you acknowledge and follow it? Thanks!

I’m guessing you'll find little agreement on what makes justified text perfect By @rob day Although that may be true, there is still some sense in imagining an AI-based assistant in InDesign to help the user to get (near) perfectly set justified text. Just one simple example: Such an assistant would detect single lines (from a maybe hundreds-of-pages book) with inconsistent values of spacing etc inside one line. It will let use chose between detection only or detection + correction.

I am a CC subscriber actually, with most of the latest app versions installed on my new computer. The only reason for still using Illustrator 2019 was a specific plugin for it, which isn’t supported by post 2019 versions.

Instead of using STRG-D on the whole 60-frame-sequence, I used it on pair after pair of the frames. Had to do it 59 times, but that wasn’t too tedious. The still slightly unstabilized images did no longer bother the eye, after that.

Maybe you’re right. Seems I only imagined some progress in terms of image stability 😞 STRG-D seems to be meant to insert some »standard cross-dissolve« between portions of a clip. Not sure though what nest first means, sorry. So what is the proper way for me to improve the image stability of my former Photoshop frame animation? What is the proper way then to add some cross-dissolve effect between the frames?

Hi there! Assume an imported 30 seconds Photoshop »frame animation«, which actually consists of 60 shots showing a certain working process. I did manage to do some stabilizing (by »Warp Stabilizer«) throughout the sequence. But how to create a blending effect between each pair of those 60 stills? I try the STRG-D method on the entire sequence, but the result was some weird »Analyze Banner« printed across nearly every single frame. What did I do wrong with blending? How to do it better? Thanks a lot!
