Please return audio and video transition icons back to the pre version 24.0 style. They're much more difficult to grab hold of now that they're semi transparent. You're constantly grabbing the opacity slider instead. When they used to be solid you could just grab them and slide them/resize them instantly. It's now much, much more fiddly.   The new permanent fade in/out buttons on each end of the clip would ideally also be an option you could disable or enable as they're equally as annoying! ... With the 24.4 update  the fx badges permanently show on every clip. When moving clips around the timeline I often accidentally click the fx badge on the top right which then opens the effects controls for that clip. I'd love to be able to turn the fx badge off like we used to be able to as this is a real pain when moving clips around the timeline. ... View more

Hi all, appoligies if I don't explain what I'm after very well but I'll give it a go! I occasionaly create portrait videos for social media using widescreen clips. Sometimes I crop so the video is full screen (obviously just a certral portion of the video visible) or sometimes I stack 3 videos on top of eachother.    Each time I create one of these I go through scaling the clips and positioning them each time but i'm wondering if there is a way to put some sort of adjustment layer or place holder on a sequence so that I can just drag my video directly from the source window (or elsewhere on the timeline) and drop it onto that placeholder and have that clip automatically confirm to the pre-determined dimensions (scale and position).    Is this doable?? ... Mac v 23.5.0   Hi all. I have an M1 Ultra Mac studio and I'm editing h265 footage from sony a7siii. Please do not suggest other codec's or proxies. This is a very specific question. I have a timeline made up of hundreds of videos, audio files and timelines and although not 100% buttery smooth, playback and timeline navigation speed is pretty good for 4k source material. The best I've ever had with any machine I've owned.   However...   At the end of the project, I need to make a cut down trailer of the main feature so I always duplicate the feature timeline, delete a few audio tracks I do not like and then create a shorter version of that timeline. From this point on, the performance is broken. When I say broken, I mean broken. I am currently pressing play and having to wait 5-10 seconds before playback starts. I have tried toggling all fx's off (I have a lumetri colour effect with a custom lut applied, plus some audio effects on the sound). I have tried toggling the eye on ALL video tracks. I have tried muting all audio tracks. I have restarted countless times and now I've run out of ideas.   Something is very wrong and it all starts when I duplicate a timeline. for my drone clips, my preset lumetri color profile which has a lut added and some tweaks applied is not able to be reduced in intensity. Does anyone know why this is always greyed out? (see pic) ... View more

Issue - center channel audio is not playing for a 5.1 sequence in version 23.1 Adobe Premiere Pro version number: 23.1 Operating system - mac osx 12.3.1 System Info: CPU, GPU, RAM, HD: M1 ultra 64gb gpu 64gb ram 2tb intenal Video format: irrlevant Steps to reproduce - create a 5.1 sequence, use the audio panner to push the puck for a track 1 into the center channel.
