Thanks @R Neil Haugen, many Avid editors I train like their source sequence and use in- out- insert/overwirte form the source window. They like the pancake to, but preger do drive with keyboard shortcuts and less with mouse.

It is still in 25.6.3. With all respect @jamieclarke, we need this fixed in 25.6.x not in a new (beta) version. This is a regress form 25.5. Using beta's might be fun for some, but are a no go, no way, in schools and enterprises.

Observation: when using shortcuts to insert an in-out range form a source sequence with clips with non default scale, rotation, position parameters to an other sequence. All these motion parameters will be reset to default values. Opacity, and effects will be included just fine. BUT… when jou drag, with the mouse, from the source panel, bin, or from an other sequence these motion properties travel over just fine. This seems like a bug to me, but I might be missing some logic or hidden checkbox?FWIW this is in 25.2.3 and in 25.6.3 See screenrecoding.

A client of mine wants to reduce the availble default sequence presets. Is there a way to customize the sequence presets on Mac when deploying Premiere Pro via and enterprise tool like Jamf? I know how to do it manually via Show Package Contents, but we need a way to deploy it to ± 350 laptops. Can someone point me to a document where the customizing Premiere Pro options are explained for deploying? I know you can “hide” certain items from the menu etc. I'm wondering if this offers a reduction of sequence presets too. Thanks.

Thanks for confirming @IanB_360. My client is running into this as well and we have advised them NOT to upgrade to 25.4 as working in the panel with Mimir, in this case, is key to their workflow. Thanks, Joost

You have Preserve RGB on, disableling all color management for that clip. Please set it back to Use Media Color Space. This wis what I'd recommend:

Thanks for providing the project and media. I see that the artifacts are already in the original stock animation. When the "comet" enters the screen from the top, it is already blurred and compressed. Fixing the Keyframe Distance to 60 or higher will force the compression to use the first "apprearance" and that one is not at good one. (see my screen grab, this is actually in the stock footage) This is not a bug. In short: your source footage already has these artifacts and these are aplified with the export setting your are using.

Hello @chris_3459 , This looks like a h.264 compression artifact to me. Try these two options: 1- Uncheck the Keyframe Distance option and let Pr choose it 2- What happens when you use the default preset: Match Source - Adaptive High Bitrate?

Not very friendly to set this up manually.In a broadcast environments we often need to set up the scratch disk locations manually. For various reasons. Most times they all need to go to a folder near the project file, but not directly next to it. It would be great if there was a button that applied one location to all. And then you could just change the one or two who need to go elsewhere. (Most times the Previews as they don't need to be backup'd) Request: Please add a button to apply one location to all scratch disk locations in one go.

Manual ducking, or dipping as it is called in the UK.Submix Tracks are very powerful when making mixes for multilingual broadcast content, like sports. But currently we can't use the super useful Auto Ducking tool as it can only traget clips and not tracks or submixes. Request: auto ducking to be able to write Submix keyframes.

exampleCurrently there isn't any way to adjust Submix track volume keyframes with the keyboard. As it a Submix track isn’t a clip, all the usual ones don’t work… 😞 The workflow now is lasso select the keyframes to adjust with the pen tool. And then manually drag them up/down. This is slow and painful for editors in the broadcast space, as submixes are used to deliver both English and international mixes in one sequence. Request: Please make Submix volume keyframes accessible via keyboard shortcuts.

Okay, now we know you have Windows system with a 4 year old processor. Still we mis RAM, GPU, vRAM, Pr version. And also add the codec of the footage you're editing and the sequence settings.

No, the interpret footage on the clip should be just vanilla, they should state what the clip is. I your case 29.97fps, interlaced, probably lower field first,

Premiere does this automatically if you set it up correctly: Make sure your footage has the proper interpretation: so interlaced, 29.97fps. Check via Modify - Interpret Footage in the project panel. Right click on the clip in the project an choose New Sequence form Clip With the newly create sequence selected, got to the Menu Bar and choose Sequence > Sequence Settings... and change the Editing Mode to Custom and set the Timebase to 59.94fps (59.97fps does not exist). An click OK You are now good to go, Pr knows the clip is interlaced and lives in a progressive timeline and shouldn't see combing. If you want, you can use Optical Flow on your clip to have Pr generate the missing frames from the original fields. Right Click on the clip in the timeline and Choose Speed/Duration... and only change the Time interpolation to Optical Flow Note: SD video is/was alwas non-square pixels; depending of how your 720x480, 29.97fps shot was filmed, it's the pixel aspect ration is either 0.9091 (4:3) or 1.2121 (widescreen). So you might want to convert these to square pixels too while you are doing this. See this page.
