When you live in Los Angeles, $50 an hour isn't much. It's also not much for a mid-level designer as it comes out to $104,000 a year? And with TRAINING, you're not just paying for that hour that you're there with the instructor, you're paying for all their education, all their knowledge, all their experience that they've gathered and packaged for you. Just because you know an application doesn't mean you can teach it, so you need to be good at an app and pretty good at explaining it and teaching it as well. In order to teach it well you Need a plan, and examples, projects, an agenda, etc.. There's lots of work and prepping prior to stepping into classroom training. But yes, unfortunately the training industry has slowed down a lot due to YouTube and in app tutorials, some of which I've created for Adobe myself.)
