Jeff WOW, what insight, man you could write a Photoshop book. I've never noticed that little obscure icon in 15 years using spot heaing. OK I click on it. no tooltip , no text about it, zero info,  but light or dark grey, and I think when light grey issue is resolved.   Which bring up a 2ND QUESTION.  What is going on with PS latley????   Why the heck is it suddenly defaulting to dark grey, ie pen pressure?   And I noticed on same day the patch tool, has weird hard edges, so  had to go into settings, which had not done in 15 years for that tool and choose something to fix that..   And the brush tool for first time was not soft etc etc     ... The issue is customer the horrid customer support, which is all offshore now. The tablet actually working, but an overlay glitch causing option key to stay stuck and took 5 Apple senior techs to figure out it was Wacom culprit, and their horrid email support.. pathetic company. ... View more

D I had that checked ,but I was not dragging it back well. I just practiced and now its good. BTW, I had dozen of great shortcuts for years, I even kept and excel of them. I don't do shortcuts anymore.  When PS went to subscriptions, its become a total mess getting shortcuts from version to version. Very impressed with preset, ease. Much better interface than photoshop actions right?  Lot of issues though:   1- I TRIED TO dave to a different folder but it konked out after 1 image, any idea why? 2- at first ot was annoying when saved to the same folder, but now it's  ok because I see color next to the BW bue one image, one BW shows both as BW, how reset one to go back to color? 3- If you saved to another folder,  all orginals will open in BW how do reset all those to not have the filter applied back to color? Dont see how version matters, since 1993 and still a cyuptic almost unsable software, unless you willing to spends hundreds hours on it's impenitrable interface.  With apple preview able to redact quicly, that is also not easy software, but whew acrobot is beyond belief. ... View more

Creative  thanks for helping!   I don't see  Home, and Tools as you are showing.     I only see all tools, hence , cant find in the clumbsy software your prescipiton.  I can't find anything intuitive in Acrobat, it's truly a hall or mirrors.  Was able to get rolling in apple preview.. all tha basic, redact, fill, even brush, paint, can't find.  These things are well hidden!  Maybe Adobe make more money by making the software difficult and unusable, just a guess. No idea what that means....mark them I did solve issue using Apple preview.  Still have no clue how to: redact -- apply greyed out Use pen/ brush tool where is that hidden? Fill -- select fill, nothing  happens.   MInd bending Acrobat.  30 years in and almost unusable app for layman.   Maybe others here, ,do many come on this form to help?   ... View more
