I don't have the kind of time others may have to help solve the problem. I moved on to completing the artwork in a different way. I hear that Adobe is going to discontinue linked libraries and cloud services anyway. I hope Adobe makes whatever their vision is a reality.

"Channel count not supported. Please adjust your file to RGB color mode with 3 or 4 channels to open it in Fresco." Easy, it's already in RGB color mode! And: RGB is only 3 color channels (Red, Green and Blue). What the heck am I missing? Please and thank you. I would love to use Fresco more but it can be a beast sometimes - mostly on the Tesla-style promises of what it can do. Not sure what the paid version is actually offering.

Hi Maja, We recently did this by saving the entire hard drive of InDesign files, linked images and fonts folder, in the exact same file tree to an external hard drive. When we work on one on the new machine we bring it over. We tend to save Indesign files and their links for this eventuality. We also have our working files/folders mirrored on a cloud - just in case. I'm betting CC Libraries might work best but I haven't looked into this yet. Paul

You are correct. It's the "Open In... " that fails. I am using the most recent versions of illustrator "CC". If I choose to download by opening it in Illustrator then it's just an image that opens. I have to download and then open the file from the computer. So, for me, the open in illustrator doesn't work. thanks, Paul

I am tired of purchasing what has been tagged as a vector file with the "AI/EPS" file name only to find out after purchasing and opening it in Illustrator that it was actually a photo! I am an angry at this. We should all be reimbursed for not only the fake vector images but also the time it took to search. I'm in business and we bill for time. Disappointing. Thanks, Paul

I think that's the wrong answer. There are many issues of simple JPG's saved as EPS and AI files - and I am about to complain. There is no way to edit these in AI without tracing the image first.
