Another thing that usually works is to crop the header/footer from each page in Acrobat Pro, leaving just the content to export.

I've always had better results selecting each page (click and drag) and right-clicking to export as Excel. It's can be a pain to do one at a time, but it usually works.

Changed the 100K black to a rich black (40 CMY, 100K) Changed the transparency space in InDesign to RGB. Exported as PDF with colors unchanged. Opened in Illustrator.

@Peter Spier Yes, I suspected spreads since I did not see a center page line in the PDF screen captures. Just wanted to confirm. @Lisa Dorn Design As Peter stated, export as single pages. Spreads can't match up a left-hand page from one document to the right-hand page from the following document (and vice versa).

In Illustrator, what happens if you turn off the GPU Performance preference? If the image is rasterized in Photoshop and you convert the image to RGB, the colors would not be CMYK anymore. You could also export as PNG from Illustrator if you wish. PNG only supports RGB and grayscale. I'm assuming the graphics would need to be rasterized in After Effects anyway, unless you are using them as masks. Not sure what Overlord is...

What are your color profiles being used? It's odd since most of the CMYK color range exists in even the smallest RGB profile. What happens if you rasterize the file in Photoshop and convert there?

@jmlevy The OP had a slightly larger gap after the underline and before the text. Also, I don't think the start of the text aligns with the text below. A simple solution would be to enter in two tabs rather than a tab/space.

To get the initial hanging indent, simply "push" the left indent in, then "pull" the first line out (with a negative number). InDesign automatically sets the tab. (Tabs are almost always the same as the left indent.) The line tab and the spacer tab need to be set under tabs, with the line tab using a underscore as a leader character. These two tabs need to be entered manually.

It looks like your documents are using a combination of Facing Pages and single pages placed side-by-side. What are your book's pagination settings?

Acrobat can convert RGB colors to CMYK while converting RGB black to 100K. Of course, the conversion is best left to a commercial printer*, so you should talk to them about that. *If outputing at a quick-print shop (high-end laster printers) or your own laser printers, you shouldn't have to worry about any conversion.

Acrobat PDFs are not really considered "webforms" although they can be filled out in a browser. PDFs can usually be downloaded and filled out without being online. In regards to your question--why wouldn't you have them fill in their name and company info? You can make them required fields.

Are you currently using Adobe Acrobat Reader? You need Pro to redact. Just be sure to read and follow the cancelation policy and do it in time if you don't want to subscribe.

On the Swatches panel's menu, Select Unused Swatches. You can deselect the unused but wanted swatches by Control (Windows) or Command (Mac) clicking on them.

Have you used this option: If you have letter size pages, you can print to a tabloid page for actual-size documents. It sounds as if your comments are a bit "verbose" so you can set the font size to small. (I would also eliminate any dupe or unnecessary comments to save space too.)
