Adobe XD

Hi there!   Recently (within the last month or two) as I'm working in Xd, my keyboard will very frequently stop accepting inputs.   This happened very rarely in the past and I found an old fix on this site (I can't find the post) where if I push the Windows key twice, it Xd accepts keyboard inputs again, but now it's happening all the time! Like every 3-5 minutes. It seems to happen most when I exit editing a Text component, or do something in Xd then click to another window to do something and come back (sometimes I go into my web browser for something, sometimes I'm dragging an image into Xd, sometimes I'm copy/pasting text from another file).   When it happens, they keyboard does nothing at all. I can't edit text, I can't edit any values in the "Tranform" box, I can't use shortcuts to change my tool to "Text (T)" or "Select (V)" or "Ellipse (E)", etc.   I can tell it's Xd specific because any other program my keyboard works just fine. I have a complex component that I need to make it work in mouse, xbox controller, ps controller and keyboard. When I start creating interactions, it starts to "not remember" what I did, and I need to do it twice for each input. Take a look on the video. 

There should be a comment in the design review, but it doesn't appear.Only the pin numbers are displayed.

I am learning Adobe xd recently and  I am facing problem while expanding my wireframe vertically , when I try to drag it vertically down ,the whole layout gets resized .Please help me ,as I didn't found ans to this problem and how should I resolve this.

This problem started with the latest (December) updates to Adobe XD (now running on Windows Adobe XD version 3.1.12.2). Tested in both MacOS High Sierra and Windows 10, the layer order inside Repeat Grid -group cannot be changed by dragging layers with mouse. For other groups, symbols etc. it works as usual.Edit: seems that layer unions have the same issue.

Hi, I would like to be able to use a local hosting feature to share work in a high security environment.My enterprise doesn't allow us to use the cloud. Is it possible to share files on a local server ? If it is not possible, maybe we could make a Design system on the cloud and use it with offline files ? Thanks for your help.Olivier

I added some emojis in my design. Everything worked fine in the XD desktop app. After I published the design, I found that those emojis were not shown in the design spec correctly.

Hi, how can I add in an existing flow ex: "login/register flow" other screens that I had to create after some user testing and have to be inside the login/register flow. Clicked on  share -> a flow has been created and now I want to add a few more screens to that flow.... How can i do that?

my Spec- adobe XD (latest version)- window 10 user (lastest update)- Wacom tablet Intuos 4 (latest driver - WacomTablet_6.3.40-2)- graphic driver (GeForce 1060)Let me explain my condition more.with the Wacom tablet pen, the screen doesn't move when I press the spacebar (shortcut - pan). but the mouse pointer turns to 'hand' icon with Space bar shortcut, but no moving at all.but it works with a mouse!but I should use a tablet pen,,really want to fix this problem.otherwise, I cannot keep my membership. and I found one reason. but there is a bigger problem.  I think this issue is connected with 'Use windows ink' which is in the tablet driver setting.when I uncheck the 'Use windows ink',I can use the pan shortcut with a tablet pen,but the problem is that XD crashes down when I use a 'zoom '. when I try to zoom the screen,  it freezes. so with the tablet pen > Check 'Use windows ink'pan X(not moving)       zoom O> Uncheck 'Use win

Hello, I’m encountering an issue with XD where for some reason I am unable to see any of my art-boards in the workspace, I could only see is a black screen. Attaching a screenshot for the same. This issue is on all files. Could you please help me fix this issue as soon as possible? 

Hello,  I'm using an IFRAME to share an XD prototype.  In my HTML page I have my IFRAME embedded and centred (vertically / horizontally). I would like to use the space around the prototype to send keyboard commands to the prototype. For keypress simulation I'm using javascript which works. Unfortunately I'm not 100% sure on how to setup the communication between the Window.postMessage() on my page and the XD IFRAME prototype as my website is hosted on my domain and the XD prototype lives in Adobe's cloud.  Do you have an example that you could share of such communication? Thank you.

Hi all! hope you all are doing well. into the business ahah, I'm having issues applying animations. when im doing the prototype and I'm on a specific state and I apply the effect hover with destination to another state and I change to the next state to apply the same effect, the previous one disappear.Did anyone else have the same problem? Thanks a lot!! 

I updated XD this week and the functionality freezes throughout working consistently.  when it happens I am unable to interact within the canvas window.  I can interact with the file menu, hover over the document assets but nothing else. It isn't exactly a crash, it's a soft freeze in my case.  I'm encountering it whenever I need to interact with objects in my canvas.  Fonts, shapes, components, artboards.  Especially if I'm making multiple changes to a asset.  I can break out of this by tricking XD into zooming in and out of the canvas, but otherwise I cannot interact or use any tools unless I do this work around (they don't work: can't add a shape, can't edit or add a font). I need to revert to the previous version of XD, otherwise I can't do my job.

How can I change artboart size from for example Iphone &,7,8, SE to Iphone X, XS, Pro? I haven't found a way to do it, bu I think that it would be good if you mark the artboard that you want to change, and press A and select the wished predefined size from the list. This question is about font height. In China, companies pay more attention to design specifications.Sketch did a better job.We prefer their font line height setting.I hope you can think about this.I hope this problem will be solved as soon as possible.

Hi there, I have been working on an project on adobe XD for 2 weeks+ on my MacBook Pro and suddenly yesterday XD crashed.  the first couple times i attempted to open the file again it crash 5-7 times, so finally i restarted by computer and opened it again and literally ALL of the work I did in those 2 weeks were complete gone and said the last time it was saved was on sept 23 (which was approx when I started).  I am extremely distraught as I now need to redo an enormous amount of work if I do not some how get my file recovered. I have never has this issue before with cloud saving as i thought it was autosaved by default is there any way I can get my files back? I am desperate. I have already tried all of the methods listed on this help link but no avail. 

I had 5 crashes already in 2 hours of work today. Windows 10 up to date, adobe xd up to date (44.1.12.5) - Complex file as always- my pc is not low of memory.  PC Specs: AMD RYZEN 7 3700X 4.4GHZ. RAM 32GB. GEFORCE RTX 2070 SUPER WINDFORCE OC 8GB. SSD SAMSUNG 500GB M2 970 EVO PLUS, SSD CRUCIAL MX500 2TB. HDD TOSHIBA X300 4TB.- Adobe XD is taking up to 30% of memory usage while auto saving. - There is no auto save adjustment to be made on adobe XD.

I just updated to the newest version of XD and I am trying to locally save XD files to my desktop. Every time I do XD just crashes. What's also annoying, every time I restart and try again the dialogue box asking me to send a crash report comes up, even though every time I click "Always send."  I'm on a Mac using Catalina 10.15.7 (19H2) using XD v. 34.2.12. I have haven't been able to get any work done because of this.

Hi!When importing an ai file, the font changes in xd.ai file font: Noto Sans CJK KR -> xd front: NotoSansCJKkr-Bold-KSCpc-EUC-HIt's too hard to manually fix everything.That's just it.I hope it's fixed soon.Thank you.
