Adobe XD

The font sizes they use from the specs are correct as per my design but they look massive on the live site. I design on a retina screen, does this have anything to do with it?  If so, is there a fix around it?Thanks

Adobe's FAILURE to provide a DARK MODE in XD is just STUPID. I'm an older designer and trying toi use the current interfae is WORTHLESS.Heck, even Google has a dark mode.  Why doesn't Adobe hire better developers?

I want my .ai files to be opened in XD by default so that when I double click a file it will open in XD. The problem is there's no XD in a list of available apps. I managed to track it in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Adobe.CC.XD_44.0.12.7_x64__adky2gkssdxte. Had to make myself an owner of C:\Program Files\WindowsApps folder to even access it. I chose XD.exe so now I get "Adobe XD" on my "Open with..." list, but still can't open any files. I get a an error: *********Access denied for a file"<here-goes-path-to-ai-file>" Access denied!********* How am I supposed to setup this?

Is it possible to have a function where users are able to draw in a windows of a prototype. Sorry if that isnt phrased well I dont use XD that much. I am trying to bodge together a demo for an app at uni, and want to include a "take notes" function. If not its totally fine, but if its possible I would like to include it as an extra wow factor. Its not key to performance so the jankier the better 

Hi All, I am keep getting the above error code, whenever i am trying to generate the developement link to share my XD file.  I have tried all the possible solution as mentioned below. Split your artboards into two separate files and retry. Create a new file, draw one artboard, and try linking them. If it works: Try reducing the number of artboards and try creating a link, orShare from another networkI have updated the latest version: 43.0.12.14, but still no results.@17309390 please help as this is a major issue, which almost every designers are facing. This is a major bug of adobe XD, request you to solve or find a permanent solution for this.

hi there, i'm wondering how to duplicate cloud xd files now. i duplicate a ton of files for emails, banner ads, etc.  i used to do it through the cc app, but it looks like the 'your work' tab has just switched to libraries. on browser, there's no option. trying to find a better solution than saving cloud docs to my desktop and then reuploading with a new name. OR if i've been doing this wrong the whole time and there's an easier flow. helpppp

Hi, would anyone know why this happens?  I create my adobe XD file in my laptop, but when the same file is opened in another laptop, some text are hidden when showing the prototype. When I am in the design screen, I need to expand the text box for the text to be seen. However if I open the same file in my laptop, these text are already seen without the need for expanding. Would anyone know why this is so?

I just wanted to chime in to say I'm having a similar issue with Adobe XD. I have a brand new MacBook pro laptop with Magic keyboard. I've been using the magic keyboard for work and the shift key has been sticking like crazy. I thought, man, I got a faulty keyboard. I even tried cleaning it, but no luck. Well, I just started working directly off of my laptop without the external keyboard, and it's still sticking! That's how I ended up here. It must be a software issue. A user above mentioned a potential issue with a wacom tablet which I am using. I'll try experimenting with that and see what happens.

For several times now I had issues with linked assets. The file name in the assets list suddenly becomes cryptic, and it's assets are not updated any more. When filtering assets with that crpytic filename, there is no way to remove the filter. You need to restart XD. I could remove the link to the assets and re-link them, so that's a workaround for that bug. Is the bug known at Adobe?

After the version 34.3.12.1 update, the linked assets from my design system are now broken. Seeing that I'm now supposed to use Libraries, I published the design system XD file to a "Library", and that library appears in the asset panel of the documents, but my links are still broken.  How do I fix this?  

I have three artboards with a volume slider. I'm able to prototype with a drag trigger link from artboard 1 to 2 and 3, then when I link back from 3 to 2 and 1 I'm stuck at artboard 2 cause the trigger event drag is gone. I only get the options Tap, Keys & Gamepad and Voice. Why? W10 all up to dateXD 24.2.22.8

Today while working on my project, XD just stopped updating the public link. One moment it's working normally and another ... nothing is happening. Progress starts moving and just randomly stops at some point and stands there, sometimes even on 100%, no error showing.So far I've tried deleting everything and giving it a fresh reinstall, sign in/out, creating a new link for the project (the same thing as with the update, progress just stops and stands there), creating a completely new project and trying to create a link (same result). I have fibre optic internet and it's working perfectly for everything else so it's not my connection either. I'm using Windows 10, XD version 44.0.12.7     {Renamed by MOD}

I'm new to XD so this is a "does this feature exist" question: Is it possible to trigger a component to change state on all artboards while in the "play" mode? I'm working on an agricultural app wherein a user may or may not have a baling session running. When they click the button to start/end a session, I'd like to simply change an icon in the header to reflect that state. Actually, I'd probably want to toggle the state at the same time as jumping to another artboard. At present, it's looking like I have to duplicate every single artboard the icon appears on in order to do that but… that can't be right. Can it? If that's how it works, it would quickly lead to exponential growth in the number of artboards.

Hi, I was creating UI for a platform, while creating I was usign fix postion for the CTA. but it was not woring I have submited link for the error. Please let me know hot to fix the error

I have a local asset library with components used in other local files. Today I followed the Adobe instructions and saved my library to the cloud and published it. I can see the new library assets in my local files, but I also see the old assets with the red broken links. When I updated an asset in the new library and ran the update, I see the updates in the library in the local file, but not propagating to any of the artboards. So essentially I have two sets of the same components in each file now: in the new library (from the cloud) and in the document assets (the ones that were there prior to the library publish to the cloud). I thought the old assets were going to automtically be replaced by the new ones from the cloud library, based on Adobe instructions. Am I missing a step? Thanks!

Multiple SVG files - always crush.This has been happening to me for several months now. Multiple machines, multiple version, multiple sources (Exporters). Illustrator crashes almost 100%, except when SVG is created in Illustrator.In this particular case, I just need to create a couple of versions (flipped arrow and different color) which would be a 2min job in my normal flow, but I can't even open it.Please advise.

Hey all, I have been working on an project for UI design in Adobe XD, but it needs export to Invision Studio for the developers to access, as they only use Invision Studio. I looked for solution online, but could not come a proper one, though there are websites to convert Adobe XD to Sketch files, but they are paid ones, which currently i don't to use. Is there any way please?

Sometimes when I enable Stack feature on a group of items, some of the items are put into a new group. It doesn't always happen but in some conditions (as shown).Is there a way to prevent this?How do I know how this is determined? 

Hi XD users. I want to auto-animate header section so the tab is sliding left to right (which is working fine) the problem is that buttons created from single component auto-animates as well and I have no idea how to turn it off. I changed their names in outliner but it didn't work. Do you have any workarounds for this?Thanks for any help!
