Adobe XD

I am just looking for some clarification here. With the Adobe XD app on the iPad, you can’t create new XD files? It’s only for viewing your prototypes?

There is currently an issue with XD that if you install the Creative Cloud version of a Font, that was previously installed on your Windows machine, then XD will consider that you're using the old version of the font and warn you that all fonts are missing. Actually from a technical perspective I understand "Why", however what is infuriating is that the "Replace font" tool itself doesn't understand that we installed a new version and that when we select the new font to replace with in the dropdown, it should replace with the new version of that font.Because the font has the same name, the "Replace font" tool "thinks" it's the same font as the missing one that I select, so it does absolutely nothing. The result is hundreds of missing font strings, and no way to batch update them to the newly installed one besides going to the strings one by one and change them manually with the right side panel, which would take days when you consider this problems affects hundreds of files wi

Hi,  I want to share my experience with Adobe XD on a recent project. Working on XD was really difficult as it’s still quite far behind in its features. Lacking simple capabilties which are available in Sketch such as: pages  top toolbar organized layers and symbols symbol structure craft plugin Adobe Constant updates. That much updating can get a little cumbersome and doesn’t always come bug-free   I really hope you can improve the Adobe experience as it does have some good features but without some important ones, we really struggle to use it effeciently    Do we have ETA on some basic features?   {Renamed By MOD}

Hello, I have been unable to share Adobe XD project for over 1 hr now. I get the same error about "unable to share" and when I click the help link it lands on a page claiming its a 404 error. Please help as soon as possible. I need to collaborate with colleagues via the cloud to meet deadlines.

Adobe XD does not have any provision in Trigger Option for External URL link...with other website pages.

At Present Adobe XD is not supporting any animated GIFs..have to compromise with simple alternative. Kind request to make provision for incorporation of GIFs in Adobe XD will be helpful.

Hi All,I seem to have links that stop working after dragging an element,The 'profile' and 'post trip' buttons work on all other artboards, but stop working on the artboard that is set up with the drag feature.

I have 4 local files that are showing an Error 86 when i attempt to open them. This is the first time ive experienced this issue. the last time i was able to open these files was about a month ago.   Some info about what i am using:1. XD version 37.032.10, OS Big Sur version 11.2.12. they are saved locally on my system harddrive 3. I have the logs, i can send a separate message witht he file. i have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Xd as well as Creative cloud with no luck.  Any help would be appreciated!

When selecting the border color using the eye dropper and a library color the resulting color is wrong.

HI   I am busy developing a prototype for a project that in the end will probably have over 140 pages.Already now at 80+ I am hitting some serious performance issues.Does anyone have advice how to manage larger projects? Can I break it up into different files and then when running through the actual working prototype jump from one file to another? I have searched and cant find anything on this.   Or maybe its my system thats suffering and not an XD issue, using a 2017 Mac Book Pro with 8G Ram? Thanks Lee   <Title was renamed by moderator>

I'm having an issue where just recently, random files I need to work on are trying to load and crashing instantly. I've done the graphic card updates, Windows 10 updates, and driver updates. Nothing is working for me and I need these files to open.

Hi,I am using MAC.Why Adobe XD does this to text? It makes the proper spacing impossible between text boxes. Different fonts have different height without setting any box height. In photoshop this font has a normal height. Even there sometimes fonts have a very weird height, but in XD it is more visible. Is there any way to change this?I can create little guides for myself but for developers it would be the easiest to measure the distance between 2 elements, but this way that distance is incorrect. I am not sure how they could measure the distances this way.     Why the box is not ending where the red line shows?Thanks!

I have been trying to follow this tutorial: https://www.adobe.com/products/xd/learn/design/layout/create-dropdown-menu.html It is virtually impossible to follow and so many things don't seem to work. Trying to copy the dropdown content into the same layer as the header. I eventually got this to work but I have got no idea how. States and actions: I found it fairly easy to get the action to open the menu. However when I wanted to get the close action working I was unable to select just the header as per the tutorial. Screenasts. The screencasts were too fast and I couldn't pause them. I ended up recording the screen so I could pause it. This seems crazy. Is there an easier way. Is this typical of Adobe tutorials? I must admit I haven't used many of the official tutorials. Rather I have learnt on the way of searched Google for the topic I was interested in.   <Title renamed by moderator>  

Hello,  I created a mobile prototype, generated a link and share the prototype link with other users. However, when someone clicks on the link all that loads is a blank screen with a horizontal line running through it.  I generated the link multiple times but nothing changes. Could you please help me! I am under a tight deadline and this issue is extremely frustrating.  Thanks, Eimear

Hello. I am trying to access some prototypes created by one of my employees who is no longer with us. I have access to view the last published prototypes, but I am unable to access the raw Xd file. The employee's Adobe account has been closed, so I am unable to log in to their account and grant access to the file as a workaround. This is blocking our ability to perform usability tests on the prototype, since we need to make some adjustments to it prior to our research participants viewing it.   What are our options in this circumstance? Do we need to recreate the entire usability test simply because my employee is gone? This seems like a very important permissioning use case to consider.   <Title renamed by moderator>

My existing prototype link which I had shared with the devs is missing. I only have "Manage Links" and "New link" options available.   The "Update link" button is missing too.   When I click "Manage Links" I can see the existing link on the Adobe Assets webpage that opens up. Then why is it not available from my Xd file?    I didnt know whats going on so I proceeded to create a new link. But the same thing has happened to the new link too. I dont want to keep creating new links.   This was all working fine until the March 2020 update.   P.S. A bit ironic if the Experience Design software updates dont go through a usability testing before rolling them out.   <The Title was renamed by moderator>

Icons in my project are treated as components. While using them in the project, I can use the same icon but with different colors (white, black, etc). Marking both instances for download (for developes, in the handoff link), XD recognise them as instances of the same component, making available only one variation of the icon used multiple times with different colors. In this particular project, we can't use SVG icons and developesr asked for .PNG files. I know devs aren't able to change the color of an icon in PNG format, that's why I marked both variations (same icon, different colors) for download. I unlinked one of the icon with color variation from the component element, and updated the handoff link, now XD is making available both color variations of the same icon.

I'm linking transitions in a project and sometimes I need to change its' duration but sometimes Adobe XD just don't let me do it. I type the new value and press enter, but the number goes back to the original value. This doesn't look like a technical rule, but a bug. It happened before in other files.Can't share the file.Won't collect logs.Windows 10, latest XD version.
