Adobe XD

Today I opened two different XD files and tried to invite people. First, I noticed the area to add people was greyed out. One file said coediting was enabled. The other said it was disabled. But the most perplexing thing was when I clicked away from the invite window I got this red error message that said "Collaborator Status, Error getting invited people." Seen screenshots.

Dear Adobe Team,I am having this issue about the versions. Before i left home i downloaded the latest version on macbook and opened the cloud documents without a problem.I am trying now to open the cloud documents and i get this message about the versions, bot imac and macbook were on the same version, the latest.What could i do to resolve this issue ?Thank you very much,Sincerely,Greg Daskalakis 

Our company has recently adopted XD as the primary design program and utilizing creative cloud librabries to reflect photo editing in real time between multiple teams. 1) We've found there's no simple way to go from a JPG to a different file formart (PSD, TIF) without first saving locally and replacing. Is there a solution for this? It seems Creative Cloud does not like you saving as a different format. 2) Does anyone have an efficient workflow process they currently use to go between designers, photo editors etc? 

I am using Adobe XD Version 35.3.12.2 currently. And since last updates, I am facing an issue while text editing. I am copying text from any external source (notepad, Word, PPT or browser etc.) and trying to paste it into Adobe XD using text editor. But, nothing happens, I am not able to complete this action. Due to this I had to manuallly type lots of text specifically for text heady designs.Is this issue with latest updated version? Please help asap. 

Hi guys, Very rookie question. I've had a designer craft me a dozen pages on XD. I have linked them together. I want to know how I can use this great tool to get my pages online. I read about Anima and signed up for a pro account. I've generated the code but when I insert it on my site domain it looks horrible. Anyone got any tips, hints, suggestions of plug ins or ways to go from great design on XD to visible on website? Also, is it on XD I can embed a data source from an Azure database? Or does that come later?  Sorry for the silly question. Forgive the nubie question. Tom

I worked with a document in the cloud through 2 computers (windows), one computer had an older version in the cloud (I think it was not synchronized), and the other was updated. I was working on the updated document until it gave me errors where adobe XD crashed. I uninstalled and reinstalled adobe Xd, but in the cloud only the file with the old version is displayed. I can't find the file anywhere, I logged out and logged in again, uninstalled and reinstalled and had no results. Any idea what might be going on? Missed work is still showing "posted" and I can see the flow, but can't edit it

Dear all,Fairly new to adobe xd. I have a homepage of a website with a bounce animation on. THe bounce animation is build by auto-animate through multiple artboards. On the homepage I would like to have a hamburger menu icon with hover state. When my timed animation returns to the first artboard, my hover state is automatically converted to a default state. Does somebody has a solution for this or do i have to change my approach? Kind regards,Xavier

 Hello, I cannot use the color picker. When I hit the color picker icon, I can't find black color.I've tried to reinstall the app, upgrade the app and to downgrade the app, but still not working.  Please help me solve the issue.

The new update completely got rid of the custom names I created for each character style (H1, H1 Tablet, H1 Mobile) and now I have just the font's name. This is terrible. Any way to fix? I've already reverted back to the previous version. Will there ever be an update where if I were to select a block of text on the artboard, the character style associated with it gets highlighted? That would be a huge improvement IMO.

What on the actual earth is happening here? Local folder sync is not an option for me and I need to access an XD file stored in the cloud.  It was someone else's file -- is this a permissions thing? It's a shared folder so I have no idea why it wouldn't work just like the other sketch files in this folder.  Please tell me there is a solution that doesn't involve locally syncing our huge Creative Cloud fileset.

Hello, I'm encoutering issues with XD where for some reason and only sometimes I cannot enter math operators when trying to change the size of artboards or various objects. This affects me randomly and across any file. I use the latest version of XD ( 35.3.12 at the time of this writing ) and on the latest Windows 10 public build (OS build 19042.685). Another similar issue that seems to affect also just as randomly and I'm not sure if it's linked or not, when trying to change the number in those input fields, I can only type on my keyboard 1 number at a time. For example if I try to change artboard viewport size from 630 to 667, I press on my keyboard "6" and before I can enter the "7" on my keyboard the input field goes out of focus and I have to re-click again to enter the "7" again. Not able to open the XD file it got stuck. Please help me with this issue.  

I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 6 laptop, and Xd v35.3.12.2. I can't zoom in using the shortcut key [CTRL][+].I can zoom in using [CTRL][-]. I can also use zoom shortcuts like [CTRL][1] to zoom to fit. It's only [CTRL][+] that is not working. I'm assuming this is a bug, because using [CTRL][+] is standard in other Adobe products, like Photoshop and Illustrator. However, even if there is another shortcut key for zooming in, I'd like to set it to use [CTRL][+], because I'm so used to doing it that way. Is there something I can do to fix this, or is this a bug?

Hi,I work with two different computers with Adobe xd. I upgraded one computer to the new version but the other computer could not open the file because its processor is old. The problem is that it does not allow reverting to pre-3D versions. I owe your help to go back to previous versions because it really does me a disservice at work.

Hi!I'm wondering if anyone has any troubleshooting tips for fixing text that is hoping on the screen when viewing it in the web preview? All transitions are fine and smooth when previewing it in XD, the problem only occurs when viewing it in the web preview. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!Jane

When I create a repeat grid and then try to update it with a series of images, it does not work.This feature is showcased in the Adobe XD official tutorial for repeat Grid: https://youtu.be/42VCB42TKp4?t=123  However, it does not actually work in production. Hello, the last time that I used Adobe Xd was like in April 2019 on a Windows. However the version in office was probably older than the version running in April. Now I got back for and for some reason I have more bugs now that in that time. Unresponsive commands and glitch - At some point it's impossible drag the screen "space + drag" simply Adobe Xd it's unresponsive to the command- Zoom in and zoom out become unresposive too, so clicking ctrl plus the keypad symbol + or - sorts no effect- Arrow controls stop to workThe three above listed problems, showed up today for the first time after 29 days of use. Masking shapeHas masking shape always prevented the use of shadow? If so why?3D Animation and 3D Animation + shadow= deliriumI have this six cards in six different folders within a master folder. Each card folder it's a masking shape with the image of the card, plus the card and a second card that I have to use as shadow because, shadow function does not work

The attachment's pocket_demo.xd content type (application/octet-stream) does not match its file extension and has been removed."

2 days ago, I had shared link with my client to view designs. that link was public and without password. I have not put any restriction and before sharing with them i have twice double-checked and link was working fine without password. after 2 days, when i clicked on the same link, it gives an enter password notice. i was quite surprised. without applying password, how link can be asked to enter password. I was also unable to update link. when I was trying to update link it was giving the following error."the link you previously created from this file no longer exists and could not be updated. choose new link to create a new link" I m using 25.2.12.3 version. please help me to fix this.

I'm trying to make a style guide right now in my XD project.  See the image below, how I have the cex code for each color typed out?  When I go to change the color, I have to manually change the hex code.  This gets extremely laborious if you want to include RGB/HSB additionally, and especially if you're tweaking colors often.  I'd like to find a feature or plugin that automatically extracts that info and prints it below the block, updating with the changes I make. Simlarly, I'd like to do something with typeface assests.  I'd like to have a block of text that I set to "Body 1 // Sumana, Regular 22pt" and then automatically updates the text to read "Body 1 // Sumana, Regular 22pt" 

Moving indevidual corners of a shape make lots of problems compared with AI & IDWill it be fixed somewhen? ty

I am unable to publish the links in XD after updating the software. My office subscription to creative cloud is active but I am getting the attached error. Please help

Why can't the community come up with a crop feature for us in Adobe Xd? Any thoughts?
