After Effects

I've been looking for an image effect for a long time but I couldn't find it, this effect is the reveal of an image with a caption, I need this effect, can anyone help me find this template? 

Hello,I have been trying to animate a logo (rotating on the y axis) for my friend for his brand Eternal. His main logo is a cross with a transparent middle (as seen in the first screenshot). After making it a shape layer the middle stays transparent, however, once making that shape layer a 3d layer the middle gets filled and the cross is solid. I would like for the middle to continue transparent so I can edit the extrusion depth and add it to videos or even a website. How do I do that?

I don't know why if I use Me to explore videos, it will split my video like this.If I render in Ae, it don't have this problem. But I need to set more parameters with Me.

Hey everyone! I hope you all are having a good day/night wherever you are 🙂   I came across a music video that I found quite interesting it has a choppy-like look, kind of similar to how a video would look if you shot at a lower frame rate. I wondered if the creators of this music video have used multiple images and placed them on each frame/few frames on the timeline or if there is an effect/expression that would create such a look. This is the best put complaint ever to be complained.  I too don't understand the logic.  Yes I would love for the AE team to work on this instead of "other things".  Should only take a moment or two in their standards.  If it was in the old versions WHY on GODS green Earth would they remove?  outside of nafarious reasons 😞

Olá,Fiz um teste com o Camera Track, filmando um fundo verde com marcações onde eu movo a câmera. O After conseguiu fazer o tracking sem problemas. Porém, ao fazer outro vídeo com uma pessoa se movimentando, o After só gerou os track points na pessoa, ignorando totalmente as marcações do fundo.Existe alguma solução pra isso?Obrigado.----Hi, guys.I made a test using Camera Track, filming using a green background with some markers, and moving the camera. After Effects made the job without any issues. Then, I filmed a person in front of the background. That person was moving, too, and this time After just created track points on the person. No one on the background, so I can´t use them to create a 3D camera.Any solution for that?Thanks in advance. 

I just installed After Effects for the first time but everytime i try to open it , it crashes and shows this.

Hi, each time i drag a layer to new position in the time edit, its keyframes don't move along with it. how do i fix this please

I reinstalled After Effects and Photoshop without any luck on this one. When I go to import my .psd file in after effects, it just locks up on my mac and I get the rainbow wheel spinning forever.  It also says the application is not responding when I force quit the app.  This is an ongoing issue and I would appreciate anyone being able to help on this one.  Thanks! My system:2018 Macbook Pro 13inchmacOS Monterey Ver: 12.6.3Processor 2.9 GHz 6-core Intel i932 GB of 2400 MHz DDR4 RamGraphics: Radeon Pro Vega 20 4GB

I used to use this feature all the time, but it’s not been working in recent versions (currently on 24.4). It says in the manual: To go forward a specific period of time or number of frames, select the current-time display and then enter the plus sign (+) followed by the timecode or number of frames to advance. For example, enter +20 to go forward 20 frames or 1:00 to go forward one second. Precede the value by the minus sign (-) to go backward. For example, enter +-20 to go backward 20 frames or +-1:00 to go backward one second. The time doesn't change if I try the above.

Hi for the last month I have been struggling with the issue listed above. My only fix which was to change out my newer amd gpu for my old nvida gpu this would fix the problem and I was able to use the program normally... up until recently which the issue happens on both gpus. The crash happens at random, sometimes It will be working fine for 30 mins, other times it will crash within minutes. I am struggling to get any of my projects done and honestly fed up with this program, Im going to take my pc into to my local pc repair shop and if nothing comes from this post or that Im going to have to learn a new program like sony vegas. OS: Windows 10 Pro 19045.3448CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900XRAM: 32Gb DDR4GPU: Nvida 2060 and AMD RX 5600 XT - (interchangeable)

I found that when we replace a footage in project window, the name remains same as previous file but footage is new. I need to rename the footage manually now. Please give me the solution.

Can't open Aftereffects projects, images and video don't load...Im on a mac, ventura, M2 pro, 32GB.  When i open an aftereffects prj made on a different mac i get errors: 3::1, 86::1. etcThought it was dropbox, but when i copy files to the desktop the same thing happens.Help please

Hi, opened a project that had to be converted from PC to MAC. I had to re-link all the project original files. One file appear as a single *.jpg file on AE but when I open the browser to re-link there is a folder with 10 files on it. AE only chooses one of them. Anyone can help on how I can re-link this?Thank you   

Hello, so I have a problem with After Effects 2024 (ver 24.0). For some reason every single file on my computer (video footage, images/assets, audio files) aren't recognised by After effects. They just come up as offline. Whenever I try replacing or reloading the footage/asset, I am met with the same error (see attachment for example). This issue is fixed when I rename a new copy of the file that has also been moved to a different directory. The problem is that I have to now rename/move every single asset I need to use, every single time in order for it to be recognised by adobe. I need to fix this as doing that, is virtually impossible and inconvenient. I have tried consulting with a support agent, however mid conversation, they ended and left me high and dry, with no solution. This is an issue in of itself. I'm paying so much money a year, I at the very least expect some form of service. Very upset with Adobe. Does anyone have this issue, or have any fixes for this? I am getting very

Dear Adobe and the professionals, Could you tell me which function will be available for fixing an issue that I cannot take a horizontal 360 video by 360 camera? It's not camera hardware and firmware issue.It will happen when I take a video by having a stick type tripod with 360 camera with my right hand or left hand. It will take a video more than 3 minute or 50 meter on foot.And it sometimes the angle of lens goes not to be front of the direction. I can confirm the angle at the end of destination. It will get right or left. My tripod is moving/slipping/screwing within my hand little by little til the shooting destination. It's unavoidable currently.Could you tell me it is possible to detect the center point of the video and keep the direction even when It's including route of corner?How can I make it correcting and keeping general quality by functionality of After Effects or Premiere pro? Could you tell me which function will be available for? Best regards,

Dear All, Could you tell me does it have the way to set/keep a center point of the 360 video view and the nadir by VR Comp editor using After Effects?There is a 5 mins 360 video that taken to walk within the park where is some corner.And, We cannot walk same pace to the destination now. I have a tripod with my right hand to shoot the scene and that is slanting to the left, right, front or back sometimes by unwanted signals. It's not my concentration and capability. It was not like that until 2018. So the results of the video has not center point sometimes.Please advice me how to fix the results by After Effects.Best regards,

Some of my layers (png layers) turned different colors, like pink green and white as if they are corrupted files. I had just finished animating my graphic when I decided to moved my work area to 15s instead of 120s. When I did that 8 layers started previewing as a solid color layer (pink/green/white) in the composition window. I closed the software and rebooted and the problem still persists. Any ideas?

All the AE SDK examples build a .aex plugin file. There is no support for CEP extensions in the examples. However, Adobe's online portal requires zxp files for listing. Has anyone uploaded a plugin to the Producer portal by converting to .zxp and then asked the user to install the .aex file manually ? Apparently the zxp format is just a modified zip format with a signed certificate for verification. Alternatively, how do you package the .aex file as .zxp so it can be uploaded to the Producer portal and then the user can extract the .aex and install to the plug-ins directory?

Exporting animation from Blender in glTF format. When importing into AE I get the object and materials but no animation. I thought this was supposed to work?
