Black result even after Solide White and System Acces

Hi there folks.I don't work a lot in AE but again and with trying everything i know i get a black screen. How surprising.Last time i had this it was a system access that needed to be granted. And of course in the beginning my solid white when i didn't use a background colour.But now i have not got the faintest idea. Every trick in my book has failed. Computer MacBook i7 is just fine all apps are latest (i am a registered user).Anybody?? I need to get it to the customer......  I FOUND IT.... IN MEDIA ENCODER I CAN ONLY USE "MERCURY PLAYBACK ENGINE SOFTWARE"PPFFFFFF Ya, make it simple why don't you.......

AE doesn´t recognize my RX 580 8 Mb VRAM GPU, but PS does

I´ve have tried everything i found on the internet. But nothing worked so far.Uninstalled the driver, the AMD software, etc. On the events section of the display driver i found this message: Device PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_67DF&SUBSYS_C5801682&REV_E7\4&1286464&0&0008 requires further installation.Does anyone have a clue?Thanks in advance

After Effects fechando sozinho ao usar rotoscopia

Quando crio uma composição e utilizo a ferramenta de rotoscopia, após selecionar a área que desejo manter, ao tentar propagar para todo meu vídeo o sistema apresenta erra dizendo que encontrou um problema e precisa ser fechado.Tentei com diversos vídeos, incluindo alguns com alguns segundos somente.Atualizei driver de vídeo.Configurei parâmetros do AE (memória, cache, etc).Nada adiantou.Meu PC está com Windows 11, tem 16 GB de memória, processador Inte I5, placa de vídeo Geforce RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB.A questão nem é desempenho do PC, já que só de mexer na barra para propagar os cortes já dá crash, sem apresentar motivo nem nada.Aguardo e Obrigado.

AE 23.3 - limited previewing

Following on from this threadhttps://community.adobe.com/t5/after-effects-discussions/after-effects-22-5-won-t-preview-more-than-5-frames/td-p/13033274After effects 23.3 still has previewing issues. Is it a Cache thing? is there an amount of data I need to allow? or is this still a problem that isn't resolved?Either way, this has never been an issue I've experienced for the last 6 years of using AE professionally.

HTML dropdowns not working in extension panel after Aftereffects 23.1 update

After the latest upgrade of Aftereffects to 23.1.0(Build 83), when we load our extension panel, the HTML dropdowns inside the panel are not working. Dropdowns don't show the values inside them at the click of the down arrow. This happens across different areas of the panel, none of the dropdowns are working when this problem happens. ABYSMAL Performance in AE 23

Hey all, Recently upgraded to 23.2.1, and speed in this version is absolutely abysmal, even with a comp that is not challenging for performance. What's worse, even typing speed for expressions slows down to a crawl - even in an empty project.Interestingly enough, plugins such as Expressionists are wholly unaffected by this.The problem is particularly bad when writing expressions, as you can see in the comparison I attached between AE 22.0 and AE 23.2.1 - it's absolutely crazy. That slowdown is also translated to other parts of the app. While turning off layer controls could boost speeds greatly in AE 22, it barely does anything anymore in AE 23 - and the fact that even when having an empty project, getting these issues really makes me wonder what's going wrong here, and makes me think some bug was introduced in AE 23. Running on latest Win 11, Nvidia Drivers for the RTX 3070 mobile, AMD 5800H and 64GB RAM, with dedicated 200GB NVMe Disk Cache, preferences identical (I checked

AE23.2 crashes while using trapcode universe type cast

Hey all,So even on its best days, AfterEffects has always been some seriously buggy software. This is especially true regarding third-party enhancements like the Maxon plug-ins. Every time Adobe releases a new version, it breaks the 3rd party plug-ins. Maxon seems to be able to release updates without causing crashes; however, every Adobe update causes plug-ins to crash. Perhaps someone at Adobe will see this and take note? Normally, the solution is to return to the previous version and hope for the best. I just upgraded to the latest version of AE at the time of this writing and cannot use the plug-ins at all. They worked via the previous version with a number of sufferable transient issues, but now project files with typecast crash the software right away. I've also cleared my temp files, uninstalled and reinstalled AE, as well as the entire creative cloud suite, and mixed/matched different software versions for some semblance of functionality. Has anyone had any luck fixin

Hi, so when I import a mblook file, it says it can't import it or unsupported file type or extension.

Can't access an older version of After Effects.

I was working on some afeter effects file at on a more up to date computer. I have travelled to my second computer, an OS High Sierra. The after effetc files in the creative clpoud are greyed out, plus I cannopt find even an old copy of AfterEffects. I was working on this computer a month ago, in aftereffects... now all disappeared. I have work to do on it, and in the past this has been seemless. Any suggestions as to how I can:Get a copy of After Effects that opens on this computer.Carry on working on the files ( probably created in 23.1... but I'm not sure (as I can't open them!))Thanks

Adjusting text parameters in character pallet not working

Cursor not behaving in text Example: In a pragraph of text, I highlight a word, go to the character palette, adjust the size and rather that the type getting bigger, the cursor jumps to the beginning. This applies to all paramters. Some keyboard shortcuts work.But not all parameters have a shortcut Tried different fonts.Tried new project.Tried restarting. Very frustrated.

After Effects BSOD Frequently

Hello, I have ran into issues with After Effects that are severely frustrating. I work on small and big projects, yet, no matter the size of the project I have, it will still trigger a BSOD seemingly out of nowhere. It is most consistent with exporting I notice but still crashes sometimes when I am simply editing, I have no idea what causes this and there isn't a single action or effect that causes it. I have exhausted nearly every option so far and have contacted Microsoft support 5 times and Adobe support 2 times over this. I am on the newest version of Windows 10, with the newest version of After Effects, with the newest version of graphics drivers. My last contact I had with Microsoft support suggested I reinstall After Effects, and to do an "in-place upgrade" on my Windows, yet it still occurs. I get no clear indication of what causes the BSOD error, it used to be a wide range of errors, but I mostly see "iqrl_not_less_or_equal" and more recently "service system exception" af

Rendering video as green, keeping effects, music, etc.

Ok. I have NEVER seen anyone with the same problem as me. Every single damn time I go to render a video in either AE, or Media Encoder using AE. The video comes out green. The video still has the sound effects, video effects, etc. No, it's not when I import a video. It's when I RENDER. The video looks fine in AE. And when it comes out green. I mean GREEN. Entire video is green. When I try to watch it on my PC, it's just a green video. NOTHING has fixed it. I don't know the issue. My specs are a RTX 3060 ti, AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core., 16 GB Memory, Windows 10 Pro I think. Please. Please someone help. I've spent so much time on edits and NONE of them come out correctly.

After Effects update not preserving auto-save settings

I and several other users noticed that our auto-save settings had been switched offWe don't know when this happened, and some users didn't experience this issue.  I'm on Windows 10, and I this was on AE v 23.3, which updated 22 days ago.  I wish I could tell you when I last saw it autosave, but I can't with any confidence.  In the past the settings have been preserved across multiple updates.

After Effects Persisting Memory Leak

As a long term creative cloud all apps subscriber working as a freelancer in the industry, I'm %100 sure After Effects has a memory leak issue still today.. Ae 2023, empty project, fresh vanilla installation, 1440P  .h264 footage and just a single tricolor effect on top, footage playback speed is %30 (timelapse) and scrubbing around the timeline, changing one of the colors of tricolor effect and memory usage is %99 in less than a minute.I have a 64GB Ram 20cores running at 4.3 no stability issues whatsoever. This memory leak is using approximately 57GB's of ram..This problem started happening with the version 2022 I believe..

After Effects keeps auto-selecting shapes

I'm working on a character Rig, and After Effects keeps auto selecting a shape I'm not working on. When I click on other shapes on the viewfinder, I can't deselect it. I don't know what's going on. It's been incredibly frustrating and has been hampering my workflow.

4K footage out of sync (dynamic link)

Hi,  When I replace premiere pro 4k footage (which I've duplicated and put above timeline) with after effects composition, the footage is out of sync with premiere pro composition. Any guesses why this is happening? The frame rate is the same and this happens even if I don't edit the clip in after effects at all. Meaning even if I simply click replace with after effects composition and then press save in after effects when I look at both clips there slightly out of sync. I've tried exporting the after effects compositing and then importing it into premiere it is still slightly out of sync. Thanks in advance,Anna

Canon XF-AVC Intra 4:4:4 L5.0 now incorrectly interpreted as legal range

I have C300 MKII footage that is Canon XF-AVC Intra 4:4:4 L5.0. Previously, I was able to import the MXF into After Effects and it was correctly interpreted as full range (ie, did not apply a legal to full). This matched how Resolve (auto) interpreted the material. In After Effects 23.1.0 (on M1 Mac Studio), this same material is being read as legal range and applying a legal to full transform. Please revert the proper interpretation of this material, or, even better, allow users to override After Effect's auto interpretation of legal or full.

Rotobrush error

Hello, I have a problem with Rotobrush tool.  I used it on a clip, freezed the result and everything was good, until one moment without a reason it stopped working. There was no error message or anything, The layer just displayed as original regardless of the applied effect. I tried to unfreeze the propogation, but this button is no longer clickable (I attached the screenshot). All the foreground and background strokes remained. I also tried to copy this effect to duplicated layer, but it produces quite a different result and still requires a lot of refining work. The shot is hard and long and I don't really want to do most of the work again.  I would be really glad if anyone could help me with this issue

Universal Text Engine, Paragraph Settings Bug - Hindi

Target Hindi phrase - "दिव्या को ये नहीं समजाती है"Issue - (above) Hindi Text not displaying properly22.6.0Windows 10Steps to reproduce - Download the AEP. Comp 01 has Chinese text. Comp 02 has desired Hindi text-string, but is displaying incorrectly. Copy + paste target Hindi text-string into Text Layer in Comp 01 or Comp 02.Expected result - Text Layer should be overwritten with Hindi text and display correctly.Actual result -  Text Layer is overwritten with Hindi text but displays with broken ligatures and characters out of order.Wrong Display:Correct Display:Hitting "Reset Paragraph" or "Reset Character" on either Text Layer fixes the Hindi text problem, but removes user Paragraph/Character settings. There is no user-exposed setting that I can find correlated with the issue. Text Layer's are used in a MOGRT meant for multi-language deliverables, and "Reset Paragraph/Character" is not an option once MOGRT is exported.
