Hello. First, thank you in advance for reading this and looking into this issue for me. My life and 15 of my employees depend on your feedback. I run an online education business. My members pay a monthly fee to access educational flash videos. The problem is that my corporate clients, instead of purchasing a license per person, are buying a fraction of IDs and sharing them within the entire company, when in actuality, they should be purchasing each ID per person. This recent trend has really destroyed my profitability and is making it difficult for me to invest in developing higher quality content. Does anyone know whether there is a solution that can limit the number of accessible devices per ID? I recall that my apple ID limits access to 5 devices and my Amazon Kindle also has a similar restriction of devices. FYI, 60% of my customers access through Windows Internet Explorer or Chrome while the other 30% access through MAC OS Safari or Chrome. Would really really appreciate any resp
I'm looking to build an Air application that can detect the UDID of attached usb devices. This is to help facilitate adding them to the provision profile of an iOS app. Has anyone had experience with that before? Does java have to be compiled into the ANE as well or can it use the one installed on the native platform?
I have an AIR app that I created using FlashBuilder 4.6. It has run almost flawlessly, including updates, since its inceptions several years ago. Recently, I got the SSL vulnerability email from Google notifying me that I need to update my App. I grabbed the lastest AIR SDK and updated my App. Shortly after updating and deploying the new version, several users emailed me to state that they had updated the App and it will no longer open. They tried installing/uninstalling all with the same result. I tested the App on 4 devices with the following results:- Android 5.1: installs fine; Opens fine;- Android 5.0.2: installs fine; Opens fine;- Android 4.4.4: installs fine; Opens fine;- Andorid 5.1.1 (CM12): installation fails; Will not install new update; Old version remains on device Is there an App that will detect where the installation is failing on the Android 5.1.1? I am able to capture a logcat, but it is very long and not sure what I am looking for. I can post it here, if it will be u

Cannot update, uninstall or install Adobe AIRAs a result of this issue, I am unable to install SimpleViewer Pro (which was purchased!).Please could a staff member offer some help with this?I would rather not have to use Adobe Air to install other programmes. But since this isn't the case, I would really appreciate some form of acknowledgement.Thank you in advance.
Hi, I'm using Flash CS6 and I'm finding it impossible to upload any apps to Apple. I've tried using versions of Adobe Air 17 - 18 beta, and I've switched all the Application Loader versions from 2.9.1 to 3.1. I have an iMac with mac OS 10.9.4 - and now updated to 10.9.5 and still get the error ITMS-90125 "The binary is invalid.. not built with Apple's linker." (pic attached)I also have a macbook pro with 10.9.4 which also gives errors, except this time it's error 90085! Anyone know if this is a Flash 6 only issue? Because my friend who uses CC also gets it, so it might be the operating system. It's become a nightmare to develop for Apple, so this is what's pushed me towards Android. I just can't take the admin any more. All I wanted to do is a small update! Please help! Thanks,Matt
Yesterday Adobe sadly updated the Flash Runtimes Roadmap whitepaper. Basically they said that AIR for Windows 8 “Modern UI” has been cancelled (AIR for Windows 8 "phone" never thought it).http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flashplatform/whitepapers/roadmap.html"... Adobe AIR is available and supported for Windows 8 Desktop on x86-based computers. Adobe currently has no plans to support Adobe AIR for Windows 8 Modern UI applications..."I thought Adobe AIR was the best technology for multi-platform mobile development: iOS, Android, BB10 and Windows 8 Metro ... but if Windows 8 "Metro" and Windows 8 "phone" will not be available ... I would have to try other technologies like:http://blogs.msdn.com/b/cdnstudents/archive/2012/12/03/what-cross-platform-development-tools-support-windows-8-and-windows-phone.aspxVery bad day for AIR developers.I know that Windows 8 "modern" and Windows 8 "phone" still have little market like BB10. Today is the time to port Adobe AIR to Windows 8, not in one or t
Has anyone successfully packaged as AIR app as an Appx (or similar) to submit to the Windows Play Store? The process looks relatively straight forward (To make a Metro Appx Package from scratch, you must first …), but not so fast...The first step is creating an AppxManifest.xml file, and here I get stuck:<Applications> <Application Id="MyAppId" Executable="MyApp.exe" EntryPoint="MyApp.App"> I've created my app as signed application with native runtime. The value for Executable is my app's executable. But what should I put as the EntryPoint? Does an AIR app even have an EntryPoint? MakeAppx.exe will not run if EntryPoint is left out or left blank. Thanks!
Ls,Im having a hell of a time wrapping my mind around this;I have a desktop that runs X22 vista ultimate and a laptop running x64 windows 7 home.On both I run Flash cs5.5.Trying some demo I found online I'm running into a strange iOs vs android and X32 vs x64 OS thing. It uses JSON.parse somewhere (It was JSON.decode but I changed that to parse)On the x32 OS running air 16.0 I get all tests running on the desktop emulator, trhe ios version wont publish failing on the OS not beeing a 64 bit version. Fair enough. (a fix anybody?) so that wont work for iOs.On the x64 OS running 16.0; it runs on android desktop emulator but on AIR for iOs, I suddenly get this JSON variable not found error on publish? So that wont work either for iOs?!Tried downgrading to AIR 15.0 now neither Android or iOs works...Tried the 17.0 AIR same thing...Please advice..Highest regards,Mac

Hi,We have a live Android app using Adobe Air, thath some users have been receiving the following errors when trying to log into Facebook:“Invalid key hash. The key hash AV1rljok/OSV+NRfm/jhuxm6/RM does not match any stored key hashes. Configure your app key hashes at http://developers.facebook.com/apps/320633584722746”“Invalid key hash. The key hash ufV5E7igoQorpEvYkIwlIAWfgB8 does not match any stored key hashes. Configure your app key hashes at http://developers.facebook.com/apps/320633584722746”I have double checked the key hash in the app, and it is identical to the key hash that has always existed and is currently on our Facebook app page, and does not match either of those two. Additionally, Facebook login works perfectly for us in test using the Play Store build, and the vast majority of users do not have this problem. We recompiled the game yesterday and released a new version, but the problem exists.I was pointed to this by the company that provides the Facebook extension:htt
We have some logic in our app that requires different behaviour depending on whether IME is full screen or not. Therefore we need to know screen size threshold for android mobile app running in landscape mode after which IME will not go full screen any more.
I am not able to use scout with AIR16 sdk for flex project, earlier we was using AIR4.0 and we was able to do scouting on IPAD, but with the AIR 16 we are not able to scout on IPad.NOTE : We was using python script to inject telemetry data in to swf for scouting as described in scouting blogs. We also tried “swf socut enabler” from http://renaun.com/blog/2012/12/enable-advanced-telemetry-on-flex-or-old-swfs-with-swf-scount-enabler/
Thanks to the team of developing air sdk. Problem Description:After updated my air sdk to 18.0.0.109 and rebuild my texture used etc2 format, I meet an error "Invalid ATF format" from starling. The code of Starling like this:Starling-Framework/AtfData.as at master · Gamua/Starling-Framework · GitHub var format:uint = data.readUnsignedByte(); switch (format & 0x7f) { case 0: case 1: mFormat = Context3DTextureFormat.BGRA; break; case 2: case 3: mFormat = Context3DTextureFormat.COMPRESSED; break; case 4: case 5: mFormat = "compressedAlpha"; break; // explicit string to stay compatible // with older versions default: throw new Error("Invalid ATF format"); }When I use flash builder to debug it, I found the value of the format is 12 or 13, but I do not know what is the type of Context3DTextureFormat can match the value. And I do not know if there are other format values.Maybe starling also need to update to new
Hi I am trying an ajax call to load a local file from javascript in a webview and I am getting an error:"Access is denied. ↵"The webview is a useNative in windows 8 and the userAgent says its trident IE 11.Maybe this has something to do with cors and the cross domain policies, can someone lend some advice?I am using the same ajax code on Mobile webviews without issue.Thankyou.
Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for the best way to record the promo video you upload to the AppStore. Any suggestions appreciated.
I tried the latest beta (Beta - AIR 18.0.0.96) and the iOS app crashed during the launch. Traces show that the code started toThe app is working fine in interpreter mode (air 18) or with the latest air 17.The tested devices are iphone ios7 and ipad ios8 both in 32 bit.I can't get the console device log (PC) but I can get the device crash report from the iphone. Here it is:https://otofurowww.s3.amazonaws.com/test/iphoneCrashLog.log
I'm developing an ANE which makes use of an xib view. How do I package this within the ANE?The app keeps crashing because it can't find the nib so I'm assuming I need to package it somehow into the ANE?Can I just place it within the same directory with other assets like png files etc?
I'm creating my first app for android for a university project and I've come across a problem. I've just been trying out ways on how to connect to a SQLite database and I managed to get it working correctly. However, when I run it on my mobile, like 30% of the time, when I click on a object such as a button or a item in a list, the background flashes black. Sometimes it just stays black until I tap on the screen. Here is what it looks like when it turns black-and here is what it it should look like normally (ran from air emulator so items in list are different)- Is there a reason why this is happening? Thanks in advanceEdit: I've just tried it on my other android device and the problem doesn't seem to be happening. However that device is about 4 years old and is running around 2.2
When I craete a simple APP with just one List box it works in the Test app on the DesktopOn the IPAD all items are and stay selected. This must be a bug. please helpI need this urgentlyThx Michael
Hello,I'm developing some desktop apps using Flash CC 2014 on Mac OS 10.10.2 with Retina display. This morning all the AIR apps I'm working on, and also the Adobe AIR Application Installer itself, started suddenly to show pixelated text, pixelated images and even pixelated windows buttons.Until now everything was fine and I absolutely didn't tweak parameters in Flash CC or any other system parameter. So I installed the most recent version of AIR2 runtime, installed also AIR 16.0 SDK and recompiled all apps.Nothing changes, I'm still getting heavy pixelation in application's graphics. But if I test the app from Flash CC from the debug menu everything works fine, no pixelation.Anyone knows about this weirdness and how to fix it?...
After we updated our AIR SDK to AIR 17, when we build Android package and release it, some users who use 32 bit Android device can not play the game.If we use AIR 16 to build the package, these users can play. Our game has used the Stage3D API and Starling SDK.How can I fix this issue? Is there anybody encounter this issue? Thank you.
Hello. Our corporate Information Security department has identified several hundred Windows clients with versions of Adobe AIR that are end of life. Quite frankly, no one is familiar with Adobe AIR and if they're using it, it's only because of a dependency with a known application without realizing such a dependency exists. We want to either remove the offending software or update it to a supported version. Pushing a version that's still within it's life cycle is out first choice as a balance between security and functionality but we're concerned with the latest version's ability to be backwards compatible. Is Adobe AIR similar to the Java RE in that upgrading it could result in breaking compatibility? Also, we notice almost all of our instances of outdated Adobe AIR is tied to a client that has either the Creative Suite or Photoshop elements installed. Do these applications rely on AIR? Do they just install it as part of a package?
Pozdrawiam
