Hello,i am playing some flv files with the NetStream/ Video combination. The video is playing but the white background in the video is grey on android. iOS and Windows works well.H.264 decoded videos works well in Android with white background but i need to rotate the video and this one is not working on Android.Any ideas or suggestions? I am tried AIR 18 - AIR 24 beta with the same result.Best regardsMax

Hi guys. Any tricks for taking iPhone hi-res screenshots on a PC? For example, the 5.5 inch iPhone screenshot is now 1242x2208. For someone with a 1920x1080 monitor, that poses two problems: 1) How to capture a window larger than screen.2) How to control the app when most of the app screen is not visible.The first problem is easy to solve with window capture software. Any ideas for the second problem?

I am experiencing a problem when testing a 3d tween that it the bitmap element is appearing as coloured lines when I publish it for Air for DesktopI have tried using different versions of the Air SDK (20 and 23) and also tried publishing using Flash CS6 but still the same issue.I have also tried using a different bitmap but still the same issue.Seems to work fine on a Mac (tho only tested on one mac). Tested on multiple PCs

when i go to the adobe air download page and hit download it sends the download to my computer but i cant open the download from there

I'm using default image  1024x748m   Default-Landscape.png  - for iPad app.I'm using Air 22  build 0.153When testing with  IOS public beta 5 - the usual default image is switched with standard app icon (stretched) is it anybody else who experiences this?  is this just temporary or do we have to do any changes? naming / scaling new  default pngs ?

Hi,In adobe flash pro all my works are in arabic language . the TLF was very helpfull but i have other components like (DataGrid, CompoBox,...) when i published to desktop air , it work fine but when i published to android air every word breaks into seperate letters like puzzle.so what i should do ???? where exactly the problem?  Is  it from adobe flash or adobe air??sorry my english language is not that good, I hope you understand what i mean?

I am running the example project in the AIR 24 beta notes for spherical video.I am unable to find any videos which return "sphericalVideoInfo" property in the metadata as per required spec.Is anyone able to provide a link to an example video please.Thanks in advance

Hello everyone,with the Flash plugin on the demise, it would be a great solution for Adobe to offer WebGL or WebAssembly as a new target for the Air compiler. There is already a GPU render mode, so I assume in theory this should be doable. We are currently evaluating alternatives to Flash and there must be a lot of companies in the same boat right now. I assume I speak for many companies saying we would be more than happy to pay a subscription fee for an HTML target (similar to what Unity is charging) instead of spending money hiring new developers for HTML or Unity.I know WebAssembly is still experimental, but if this idea should turn out to be an option for Adobe, there should be some announcements and a roadmap right now, so that we, the web gaming companies, can properly manage our resources and keep focused on the Air platform instead of wasting money by reimplementing everything.Please, take our money.Thanks

Hi thereI've been running around in circles for the last 2 days trying to sort this out, can somebody plz help me?I installed the latest version of Adobe Air on my Windows7 64-bit, but when I try to play the file it says Adobe Air cannot be found?I then tried to troubleshoot the problem on google, which prompted me to check for the file through my C Drive/username/program files etc...and i still couldnt locate there either.I then contacted microsoft live support which promted me to talk to someone in live chat Adobe, which couldnt help me because Adobe Air is a free software which lead me to forums.I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it, but still no lock of it working.Can somebody please, please tell me how to fix this?I will pay you if need be, whether its rating/reviews, bitcoins, or a ride to the airport...take your pick, just help me solve this.Regards,Hass

Hi, Just tried to upload my AIR app on Itunes Connect and receive this mail from Apple :"While processing your iOS app, Marées-NC 3.9.0(3.9.0), errors occurred in the app thinning process, and your app couldn’t be thinned. If your app contains bitcode, bitcode processing may have failed. Because of these errors, this build of your app will not be able to be submitted for review or placed on the App Store. Hi, I am publishing an AIR app from Flash CS6 on Windows. Using AIR 21.0.0.198 - I keep getting an error that it can't connect to the timestamp server No connection issues... Been happening since yesterday.

About 10 days I have been researching for Facebook Login. I achieved to make a login ability on as3 work. When I try to prepare this ability for AIR Android I am having problem. Ex: ExternalInterface error facebook.login(APP_ID, onInit).. Then I researched and googled so many times. I had some advices about ANE usage. I am not big game programmer and I dont need to gain anything with my apps. These extensions are expensive for an amateur. The main question is.. Is it necessary to use an air extension for facebook login and showing user profile photo on my simple android .apk file? I need only login, not all device properties like vibration or any sensors. Sory for my English. I am using Adobe Flash and Adobe Air for android with AS3.

The people at the Samsung App Store have a problem with disabling the lockscreen on their apps.So when I have these 2 permissions enabled:<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WAKE_LOCK" /><uses-permission android:name="android.permission.DISABLE_KEYGUARD" />it makes sure the application does not dim the screen, however it also disables the lockscreen of course.Is there no way to make sure the screen does not dim while still having the lockscreen enabled? SInce Samsung rejects apps for this...

I have tried several times over the past year to install Adobe Air on my Windows 8 system.  The process starts, I accept the terms and click install, and then the screen immediately pops up to say that installation was successful; however the program is not installed.  I have searched manually and automatically for the program and the installation log, but they aren't here.  Air installs fine on my Windows 7 machine.  Has anyone else seen this particular string of events on install?  Ideas?Thanks!
