Animate

La herramienta no me muestra las opciones de deformación cuando selecciono una seccion de la malla. Me muestra todas las opciones en gris, y no me permite modificar nada, lo unico que parece es como activo la opcion de hueso duro.

i'm making a game in AS3 in keyframe where there is a movieclip (killer) that has to collide with a child(trail) from the move clip(snake) . I like to call add "_mc" for movieclip and "_ins" for instance. Hi all, I've been searching everywhere and I can't find a solution to this. I recently downgraded my macOS to it's original version (Monterey from Ventura) when I purchased the computer late last year. When I first got the computer, I had 0 issues with all versions of Animate, and then it suddenly got extremely laggy and almost unbearable to use regularly when I updated to Ventura. I downgraded since no solutions for Ventura were available to me (and used time machine to get my files back, not sure if that's significant or not), but now Animate 2023 crashes on launch and any version below that (specifically 2022) has installation failures. I have no other issues with the updated versions of other apps so I don't know why cc specifically is having issues. Regarding the most recent version, 2023, whenever I try to launch it, it says something along the lines of "verifying Adobe Animate 2023..." then immediately comes up with a crash report (as seen below). I am trying to make a symbol of a rock that has a specific shape of shading. I want the original shape underneath to stay but when I use the "paint inside" brush on the rock, the shading "replaces" the region of the rock part. I just want the shading to go over the whole rock, not replace it. I tried making two layers, one for the rock and another for the shading, but "paint inside" wouldn't work then. What should I do?

Today when I'm copy image from Illustrator to Animate, paste in place suddenly not working anymore. It's instead paste in the (0,0) position. It's working just fine yesterday but now it's not.What is the problem? How can I fix it?

Literally in the last week my iMac and PC have stopped being able to open swf files. Clicking on the swf to review it from file folders. Control alt enter quick review of swf in Animate it fine (swf view window comes up) but not clicking on any swf files.Neither my pc or Mac have been updated recently.Can't download a flash player from anywhere now. Is there some Adobe swf player alt I don't know about?  Please don't phase out swf's Adobe, its how we make animation for TV and Film. Please bring back swf's into Premiere 😂

Hey team, I'm really sick of this work-around and I thought maybe by some of the recent updates, this might be fixed by now. But, NOOOOOOOOOOOOO! So I have a WAV file and Animate publishes it to mp3 of it's liking. But in doing so, it also includes some nasty sounds of the most horrible shreiking nature. So the work-around is to open the WAV in audition, export as mp3 with 44khz. Then after each publish, replacing this audio file in the publish folder before implmentation.  PLEASE FIX ADOBE

Animate -  Version - 21.0.4Windows 10 - Version -10.0.1I've closed and restarted the program multiple timesI've uninstalled and reinstalled the programI'm been using Flash/Animate for 18 years - (I'm pretty famaliar with how it works)The pencil tool icon is simply not in my tool set. See attached (Pentool.png)When I hit the pencil hotkey (Y) it brings up a different icon. A brush. When I draw with it, it creates a dotted line and when I release from the stylus from the screen/tablet the line fills in as a line. Which is what I want. But is this the new penciil tool? Is this how the pencil tool functions now? See attached PencilToolline (png) to see what I mean when you are drawing the line. But when I release, all those dots form a solid line. See attached NEWPencilIcon (png) I couldn't screen cap the icon because everytime I would, the selection tool would dissappear. So I drew what the icon looks like when I hit the (Y) button. Hope someone can help. Thanks

I have an animation that loads some XML from my web server using URLLoader (as3). All works perfect except when i try and render the film using Export Video/Media...The XML doesn't load it just hangs on the loading screen.Is this a bug or a security feature?Thanks so much for your help, been working on this for a while and got so close to it working 😞

I have made a background that is the exact size of my stage, but I when I hit "test", there is more space on the left and right than should be on my stage. I'm using ActionScript 3.0 and .swf files. I don't know what I did wrong. How do I make the animation only the size of the actual stage?

When I copy any object, text or shape in an Illustrator document and then try to paste it into Animate it crashes Animate and I have to re-open it. This is not just on my Mac, but on all our Macs. We are fully updated on all Adobe apps (2023 versions). What's wrong?

Hi !  I'm new to Animate - I used to work with Toon Boom, and I don't know if it's possible to modify the Z (depth) of a symbol to put over or under an other symbol when animating my puppet (e.g hand closer to camera, so over the arm in perspective). There's an easy option in Toon Boom, but I only see the Y and X in Animate.  That would be really helpful, thank you in advance ! 

I am extremely new to Animate. I am trying to animate an animal (a fox) that walks across the stage. I don't know how to do this. Should I make the whole fox a single symbol, or should there be one symbol for the body, another for the front legs, another for back legs and another symbol for feet? Will doing separate symbols allow me to move each part independantly? I am very confused about this.

Hi, I'm making a video in Premiere, and I want to place an animated title card I made in Animate over another video layer. The idea is for the title card to open like a two-way diagonal wipe from the center. I looked up how to export video from Animate with transparency, and it worked with another simpler clip (you could see the video layer underneath just fine. However, when I put this diagonal split title card over the video layer, there's a red layer underneath the vector elements as they split open. Once the sequence reaches the two second mark (the title card animation is three seconds), the video layer does show up underneath before the elements have completely left the frame. I have no red layer in my Animate file. I can't imagine why it's doing this. See attached images below. 

Hi, I'm trying to make a programmatic/dynamic banner with textfields that can be changed through a excel file. I want always the same spacing (15px) below the textfields even when the text, that is inserted via excel, is longer than the original one. I know that .swf is a format that doesn't work in most web browsers anymore because of no more flash player, but, when I use ActionScript 3.0 for an .fla document, I try to export and the result is an .swf file. I have no clue how to open this to work. I tried using the Flash Projector to make it work, but a button that I programmed does nothing. The button is meant to take the user to an external URL, but I either get an error message or nothing happens when I click on it. Why does this happen? Are there other .swf players that it will work on, or is there a different format I can export ActionScript 3.0 on? I cannot use JavaScript HTML because this is a college assignment. I have to use ActionScript 3.0

I think after the MacOS Venture 13 update it's slowed down or is incompatible with Animate. I checked my specs and clean install the entire thing and it's still insanely laggy?

For some background, I am an absolute beginner with Animate's interface, but I use After Effects on the regular. My goal is exploring workflows surrounding importing/exporting game sprites while familiarizing myself with Animate's interface. For this little test, I'm importing individual animation frames of a character (they're .PNGs) in Animate, adjusting their timing, and exporting a .SWF Library for use in After Effects. My question is, is there a way to drag or rearrange the order of keyframes on the timeline without those frames overwriting other keyframes? I apologize, I'm not sure of the correct terms are for wording the question, so I've included my thought process: I've imported the frames onto a layer and "Distributed them to Keyframes." Each keyframe is an indivdual .PNG file. With this particular animation, I want to drag these three keyframes (see the highlighted selection in the timeline within the screenshot) between keyframes one and two. when I insert audio and get to aroud frame 150-200 it just freezes my pc for a few seconds then closes the app, and also its never able to find my autosave.

Hello, my animate is successfully creating the auto recovery files for my project (sometimes) but when it does, it doesn't do so to the configuration folder in appdata, it posts them into a file recovery folder on another drive, this is bad because it's constantly at risk of being overwritten, how can i change where it autosaves to?
