What the process to revert the Armature back into the original seperate elements before adding bones?

I would like to fill the character with colours as I intend on exporting the animation with a transparent background. However it in it's current state the animation would just be a load of black lines. So I'm trying to fill in the character with colour but with no success. I can change the colour of the lines but not add any fill between the lines. I tried the paint bucket tool but that isn't working either. I've been watching guides ofc and turtorials but I don't remember any of them covering this. I thought perhaps I need to convert the lines into an object but that doesn't appear to have changed anything. I'm assuming I've done something wrong as I've drawn my animation but I'm not entirely sure what. Any help would be greatly appreciated

When I click on the Asset Warp Tool in Animate 2021, it tells me to select the Tool option under the properties panel. However, this tab is greyed out. So I can't get to any of the Warp options. Anyone have an idea why this is happening? If I open it in Animate 2023, everything works and shows up.

Hello,In Adobe Animate, I would like to be able to draw a line and an animation via MovieClip would animate along the line. I was wondering if this was possible and how would I proceed to code this. I attached a couple of gifs demonstrating what I mean. Thank you for any answers and advice!

I am trying to save these created color palettes and import them into a new file. Seems there is no way to do that, and I'm afraid I created these for nothing. Is there really no way to save, or at least copy and paste them?  

What is the recommended stage dimensions when developing an app in Adobe animate? I've done a lot of prep work and would like to double check what stage dimensions I should be using for a game. I intend to upload my game/app to playstore and apple store.

Hi All,I have an animation that I am trying to embed into a bootstrap template, but window size is being applied to the canvas rather than parent container (div).Therefore the animation is huge and flowing outside of the column.I have exported the animation with the following selected:- Make responsive (by width)- Scale to fill visible area (fit in view)All the solutions I can find for this are based on Edge animate (bScaleToParent) and not Animate CC.Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Hello all and thanks in advance for any help you can lend.   I frequently use the VideoPlaybackComponent to play videos in my projectors... In this instance, I'm wanting to dynamically select a movie file and I need the script to return the length of an assigned video file. I'm struggling to find a method to do this...  Thanks! Erik

I have an issue with applying blur effect.I want the background of my scene have blur effect to distinguish it more from my main scene. But the issue is that the blur effect disappears when zoomed in too much. This applies to rendered camera movement and just regular zoom-in while working.I tried to apply effect to the whole layer, to symbols on it - no difference. The only thing I noticed that scaling the symbol down lets you zoom-in more until the effect disappears again. 

So when I import sound (a .wav file) to stage, it only playes when I start playing it from the beginning.

Hello!  I am working on a 30 second HTML5 file video for an assignment on the 2023 version of Adobe Animate. I am trying to import a MP4 file to use in said assignment. I have all of my other content for the video imported into my library but when I try to import the MP4 into it, the option to "Import Video..." is greyed out as well as the videos in the file folder if I click the "Import to Library" button.  I have re-ran this MP4 video through media encoder sevral times just to ensure I have the proper file format (H.264 per dr. Google's claims,) but to no avail.  I am running these programs on a Mac. I would appreciate any insight that can be provided! Thanks! 

I'm using Adobe Animate to make an animation (AS3). I want to load a file from my web server using AS3. This works fine in preview but it throws a Security Sandbox Violation when i try and render the film (same when i use debug). Is it possible to load a file from a web server in adobe animate?   Connection to <link removed-kglad> halted-- Untrusted local SWFs may not contact the Internet.

I have to instances of the same movieclip with the same instance name but it only works for one. I don't want that. I've looked up many ways to do this but I'm a sort of begginer coder so I don't really get what it means or how to implement it into my code. I don't get how "for loops" and stuff work but I know it involves looping through all the instances but I just don't get it. Please explain a simple way to do this and why. I have made multiple animations on HTML5 Canvas. I have used voice-overs and sound effects in all the animations. Sometimes, all sounds play perfectly and sometimes 1-2 sounds or voiceover doesn't play. Animation keeps playing and other sounds after skipped sound also play. These non-played sounds are random, and each time a different sound does not play, even when replaying within animation or refresh webpage. All sounds are exported and placed as MP3 192kbps bitrate or 128kbps bitrate in 44.1 KHz.

I added audio to my project and it takes about 4 to 5 secs to start playing. I changed it to "stream" and it is supposed to start playing at the starting point, but it won't. Any advice?

 When I try to open animate I get this error and the application is forced to quit. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it... still not working. Any suggestions? 

I'm a complete and total novice at Animate and I'm trying to learn from online sources.  One thing that has me completely lost though is why objects I'm importing, like BMP or PNG images, are sort of "binding" together.  I lack a better word to describe it.  Here is what is happening...1. I import a PNG and place it on the stage where I want it on a layer.2. I import a second PNG on the stage on the same layer.3. I can't move these 2 PNGs separately anymore because when I go to select on they both become selected and now a bound together and move together.I've searched online for help but I suppose since I don't know what is happening nor the proper terminology I just can't seem to find an explaination as to why this is happening nor how to fix it. For now my work around is just to create a layer for each object that I want to move independently for all the others but I can't imagine this is the actual solution, right?

I made a keyframe with a button that says "start". After clicking the start button, the title and button fade away by using "click to go to frame and play" at frame 2 till the end of the classic tween that fades the button and title. The problem is, I want the button to be in its "hit" frame after the user clicks it while it fades away. How do I do that?

i'm making a game in AS3 in keyframe where there is a movieclip (killer) that has to collide with a child(trail) from the move clip(snake) . I like to call add "_mc" for movieclip and "_ins" for instance. Anyways this is my code stage.addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, killsnake);function killsnake(event:Event){if (killer_ins.hitTestObject(snake_ins.children)){trace("asnltsatopgameal;ntaetnaen");}} it keeps giving me the error. I'm not sure how to solve this without it saying "undefined property blablabla" or the error up top. What's a way I can do this?
