Hi. I've tried to recreate a simple AS3 game with the HTML5 canvas, using Javascript. This is the first time I've done this and it's for pupils and staff to use at our school.It all works fine when I test it from Animate - it opens in a browser and plays. But when I publish it and I get HTML, JS and FLA files, clicking on the HTML file just brings up the visuals, but it isn't interactive in any way. I've tried using the 'Include Javascript in HTML' option, but that didn't make any difference.Our school has a website, but it doesn't allow for installing game files. Is there a way for people in the school to access and play it locally, maybe from the server - or even from individual PCs' C drives?The reason I don't want to use AS3 is because the pupils mainly use iPads now.Thanks.

I recently got a Mac Studio to run my Adobe Program at a much better pacebut Animate isn't any better on it and there isn't a Beta version to use insteadso I was hoping if they'll be a version of Adobe Animate that's runs a lot better for the device and M1 chips out soon
There's gotoAndPlay() and gotoAndStop(), but is there a function to play until a frame number? The functions I mentioned directly jump to that frame, I want the animation to play until that frame and then stop.

WHY, OF ALL APPS, IS THIS THE MOST STUPID ONE???I try to parent some objects, THEY CHANGE IN SIZE. I try to go a couple steps back, EVERYTHING CHANGES IN SIZE. I rotate an object, THE PARENTED OBJECT CHANGES SIZE. I work for 30 minutes on a project and am about to save my file, IT CRASHES. Hello,I exported a video and embedded it into animate cc. The size of the video after 24 frames changes and gets bigger than the size of the stage. Everytime I have tried to readjust it to fit the stage, it has not worked. My camera tool is not zoomed in. I have tried to adjust the size using the transform tool but it will not readjust to fit the stage. The video lasts 7 seconds and just after the 1st second the 24th frame does not fit the stage for your information.Many thanks,Bili
Looking for some advice please.I have an Open Type font (Atomic marker) that I need to use in a HTML5 canvas and publish it on the internet.The font is set to dynamic text.I've added it to my creative cloud fonts but it still doesn't view correctly on the internet.I can't embed the font because that doesn't support html5 canvas.Any advice would be greatly appreciated.Thank you
PLEASE HELP!I have a massive project deadline and am about to miss it because of this issue. When I export pngs from photoshop and import them into adobe, then animate them, major glitching ensues. Not all pngs seem to be corrupted immediately- sometimes they work at first and start glitching later, and sometimes the glitch is immediate. The glitch appears as both the timeline player lagging and rapid flashing in and out of the image. I have uninstalled/ reinstalled older versions of both Animate and Photoshop. I have reset all preferences, updated Mac OS (now it's Ventura 13.2.1). I have plenty of storage/ disk space and have been animating complex animations for months before this problem started. I have been in multiple adobe help chats, given them remote control over my computer all to no avail. I have attached a quick video illustrating the glitching problem.Any and all help is so greatly appreciated– I have been working nonstop trying to fix this for days. &nb

I was making a sprite for fnf (Friday Night Funkin) and my character is suppost to have a faded aura around him, i used the alpha frame color effect, on the timeline, this worked perfectly, but if I export a spritesheet, the objects become normal again, this really sucks I NEED HELP.
I'm trying create highlights on my character by painting with white or black and using overlay blending mode. Is there a way to have the overlay affect only the layer directly beneath and none of the others? Thank you!
Howdy! I've been using animate for years now, and when working with audio i've always done the same thing, adding frames in the audio file until the entire mp3 is shown. But as time goes on, and I start working with larger audio files, is there an easier alternative to doing this? Thanks.
I'm having an issue where parts of the puppets I've rigged don't show up behind other PNG/puppets, the puppets were drawn 1500x1500 and were shrunk down to fit the screen (1920x1080). It for some reason doesn't have an effect if it's shrunk down small enough (like the chicken).
I've been working on a project in Adobe Animate 2019 for a few months now. All had been going well until today when I opened up the file and found that I only had three of my 14 scenes. If you look in library all of the graphic assets are still there, even the one's who's scenes don't exist any more. What's even worse is that I can't seem to find the recovery file either, I checked both the cloud and this right here: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Animate CC 2019/en_US/Configuration.I'm not sure what could have caused this, as I've only had one crash with Animate recently, and that's when it crashed from an unknown error. It gave me the option to save before I closed it down, and then I reopened the file again and it was fine that day. It wasn't until I opened up the file again today that suddenly the scenes were missing.I do still have the .swf file which has the up to date version of everything. if there is no other way to get the recovery file, is there a way that I could
First of all: We use Adobe Animate to create online banners for our customers. These online banners always have a filesize limit, so we compress our images in the bitmap properties JPEG quality of each used image in the library panel (some more some less, so we can not use spritesheets!!!). This is essential for our work and we are really upset that we can't use the latest version of Adobe for 1.5 years now but spend money for it (!!!). I have written 2 bug reports to Adobe in these one and a half years and only 1 bug has been partly fixed in the latest version (20.5.1). And the critical bug hasn't been fixed in all this time.So, the last version (which we still have to use, because of said bugs) where the bitmap properties worked fine was 19.1.Here you can set a quality which has an impact to the image output (filesize), it does what it is supposed to do.Since V19.2 you can set a quality whatever you want but after publishing, the generated image assets always have the same files
So I have a number of MC's as UI menu items, which I would like to transition in procedurally as opposed to the usual mechanical timeline tweening which would greatly complicate what I am producing. I have given these pages a pretty hard look and still cannot see how their code would apply to code on a timeline frame, referring to several MC's: TweenJS Module and Tween Class Here I have mc_One, mc_Two, mc_Three, etc.. that I want to cascade in when their frame is landed on. I would think this was a pretty common usage for interface design in Animate, are there any source examples of this sort of procedure being used? Thanks!
Once i was watching a stream from a guy who makes really good animation, and i saw he could make an motion interpolation with multiple frames(which normally is impossible because only one frame can be converted to symbol, yet he managed to convert all of them to one symbol), and when i saw how he did it i realized he used a command called "FLASHWIP FrameToSymbol". I tried looking for it on the internet but couldn't find anything. I really wanted to make some good effects with this command, such as making a simple animation then making it automatically move from one spot to another like an motion interpolation, but the best way i know is to make it manually. Is there any way to convert more than one frame to symbol so i can make those things? If not normally, is there a way to get any similar command? And how? I'm new to this. Whenever dialogue or music is supposed to carry over into the next scene, there is a noticeable cut. How do I fix this?For example when a character talks in scene 1 and the line finishes on scene 2, the audio cuts out for a split second before continuing. Doesn't flow seamlesslyI've been suggested to put everything in one scene or add all the audio in Adobe Premiere, but I would prefer if I could do everything in Animate and thought I'd get some second opinions.

Hi to all! I work on some projects with lot of frames for android app. I have navigation layer with buttons. In some cases i have button working only on firts keyframe and not on rest of frames after it, ragarding of the fact its visible offcourse. I work on whoče project and have another buttons wihch work, but i really dont have idea how did i make it work. But only home button, one which goes through whole layer uninterupted is allways clickable and working no matter what
