Animate

Background:My First time Using Animate so I may have been pushing it, but I made a puppet with 33 layers individually.When I tried to view the 3 folders I put them in (FG MG and BG) simultaneously, the BG one would not show. I'd only have one folder visible at a time to solve this issue. Semi unnecessary info, but this helped me spot the warning signs mentioned below. Issue:While I'd have the animation playing for an individual folder to view the puppeteering, I noticed the animation was janky. I thought this would be corrected in post considering I was doing it on a laptop that doesn't really have a ton of power. After saving each layer as a transparent image sequence and importing it into another program to put it all together, the jankiness of the project in the animation still remained. I even split the 3 folders into 3 different files, but the preview animation was still the same. The jankiness I'm referring to Is not lag; it's the individual parts outright jittering thr

Hi! Im totally new in everything relatied to programming, but im trying to do little project of mine and learning while doing it. Im stuck at this simpe coding, which i cant reslove no matter how i try. I need to make ona frame which i will get by click of button and then it would tell me todays date, +3 days date, +10days date, and +120 days date.Can someone help me pls thanks

i wanna know how you can go through all the objects and base their z index/layer on their y position. i don't know how to go about doing this

Hi guys,I'm using Adobe Animate 2021. When I publish an HTML banner,  the buttons do not work in Chrome, Opera, or Edge. They are only working (while tested in local) in Internet Explorer. The banner opens up, the animations are on point, and the buttons do appear, but they are not functioning - they do not open hyperlinks.When I test in Adobe Animate itself and in Internet Explorer - they work! Also, the buttons work in Chrome when I deploy the banner. I would need them to work in Chrome for the client to test them locally.Any suggestion would help!

I know it is also a problem in Illustraotr but I am importing charcaters fro Illustraotr into animate and the stroke thickness chnages when I scale it up. Is there a way to not do this or a work around?

I am trying to import sounds to the library using the newest version of Animate (23.01) but I am getting an error message. For clarification, I have used these same sound clips numerous times in Animate with no issue. I have also tried reverting to older versions of Animate. I've also re-rendered the clips using Media Encoder.  I can get it to import on some computers, but I've also had the same error meesage pop up on multiple computers. There doesn't seem to be any consistency to help pinpoint the issue. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Thanks!

So, very confused with how color works in Adobe Animate. I am beginning the coloring for this character here and started with their cheeks first using the Paint Behind brush mode. The reason being because I believed that if something meant to be colored without lineart was filled first, I could just fill the rest of the shape behind it easily. The other reason being I was selecting the pink itself and using Snapping to move it around in some other frames, and that becomes harder to do if the entire layer is colored... anyways..I know Paint Inside exists, but I've had varying results of success with it (mainly the brush coloring the lineart instead of the colors behind it). But Paint Behind is starting to fail me too, as whenever I try to fill in this character's head it overrides the pink entirely. Painting it manually achieves the effect I want, however? So I guess what I'm asking is, what is the best way to do this? How can you draw/fill colored objects on top of an already fill

I've been trying to import audio of my project. However when I try to import it the program gives me a message saying it couldn't import the file or that it couldn't read it. I've tried importing the audio as an mp3, .wav, and an .aif. None of these file formats have seemed to work so far. The document that I'm using an HTML5 Canvas Document. Please let me know what I can do to get my audio in the document.

What is the difference between coding in a keyframe vs coding in a class or or object oriented coding. I see people using both and I don't why.

I want to have multiple scenes in my interactive animation that I'm making with Animate. I am not sure how to do this. I see that in my .fla document it says "scene 1", but I don't know what to do from there.

Hi, anyone has any idea how to merge .mov + .wav (48khz; 24bit) cuz animate cc downs audio to 44khz and 16bit, I don't know how to keep it higher than that. And premier pro doesn't support .mov (h264) so I'm stuck.It's the requirements I need file to deliver

Hello. Looking for some advice please? I need to create a web banner which has a line of copy. When the viewer clicks on the copy, a pop up/overlay of copy will appear with a message. When the viewer has read it, they will click a cross to close the overlay/pop up. I also need to add a click tag to the file. Is the above possible? Any advice/tutorials would be great appreciated.

What the process to revert the Armature back into the original seperate elements before adding bones?

I would like to fill the character with colours as I intend on exporting the animation with a transparent background. However it in it's current state the animation would just be a load of black lines. So I'm trying to fill in the character with colour but with no success. I can change the colour of the lines but not add any fill between the lines. I tried the paint bucket tool but that isn't working either. I've been watching guides ofc and turtorials but I don't remember any of them covering this. I thought perhaps I need to convert the lines into an object but that doesn't appear to have changed anything. I'm assuming I've done something wrong as I've drawn my animation but I'm not entirely sure what. Any help would be greatly appreciated

When I click on the Asset Warp Tool in Animate 2021, it tells me to select the Tool option under the properties panel. However, this tab is greyed out. So I can't get to any of the Warp options. Anyone have an idea why this is happening? If I open it in Animate 2023, everything works and shows up.

Hello,In Adobe Animate, I would like to be able to draw a line and an animation via MovieClip would animate along the line. I was wondering if this was possible and how would I proceed to code this. I attached a couple of gifs demonstrating what I mean. Thank you for any answers and advice!
