Animate

Hi!Still cant figure out how to add fonts to adobe animate.So far i understand: click on the text tool, and go to the properties menu.. but then what ??Here are the options i have:I will add that the global symbol is greyed out always, not sure why because i have a wifi connection..

Когда попробовал запустить уже установленное тогда приложения Adobe Animate, мне написало что-то типо: некоторые файлы были утерены, переустановите приложение для корректной работы. Так вот, как и сколько бы раз я не переустанавливал Animate так и не запустился. Смотрю по диспетчеру задач, он начинает загружаться, но в какой-то момент резко прекращает. Сам компьютер при анализе пишет несовместимоть, но он же до этого работал, да и сам сервис (Creative Cloud) пишет, что работает нормально, по крайней мере должно.Пробовал разные версии, везде одинаково. Читал в сообществе, рекомендуют полностью удалить все сервисы Adobe и установить заново. Пробовал, не помогло. Не знаю уже, что делать, поэтому пишу. Может кто-то подскажет.

Hi!I am trying to import a font to Adobe Animate . All i saw for  instructions was the screenshot, and frankly this doesnt make any sense or match up. I see no 'Add font' anywhere.  Any help is much appreciated!    

Hi everyone, I'm creating dynamic banners in Animate at the moment and I want to use dynamic text fields. The problem is that the textfields are changing in size (more or less text inserted via Excel) and they are always positioned through the stage value. So when the upper text is longer the lower text is beneath it and so on. Is there a possibilty to set a dynamic position to the fields like "always keep 5px distance to the other element" or something like that?  Help is very much appreciated! Thank you!! 

Animate 2021 can't open a .fla with "An error occured opening file" message showing up. I've already tried the WinRar fixing method and searched through ...\AppData\Local\Adobe\Animate 2021\en_US\Configuration. WinRar just can't fix the file and the Configuration folder does not have any data. Weirdly enough, the file size is pretty big (205MB), so I guess the data is still there. I can send the file itself if someone knows another way of fixing a .fla other than the WinRar one.

Animate is obviously very temperamental, but I an having a very hars time with a current problem. Any time I use an open / import dialogue box to import a file, select a file path, etc., Animate opens the file explorer and crashes about one second later. I have worked around this by just dragging files into the library, but I am trying to load a video to the video component and I can't select the file path. When I try to type the path in, it removes all pathing information except for the file name; end result, the video doesn't play. Has anyone else run into this situation? Thanks in advance for any advice / ideas!

  Looking for basic postion animation example using Javascript function not timeline.   So like x to x+200 with a smooth animation.    

This is a follow up to a post I submitted last November, labeled "Wonky Buttons with Canvas."  kglad responded, but didn't followup to my last response which I imagine means he couldn't answer the question, no problem.  However, this is important to my project so I want to be sure that no one has any suggestions. What's happening is if I click a button it gets stuck on the over frame.  When I move the cursor off the button after I've clicked it doesn't go back to the Up frame. Instead, it goes to the Over frame.    Does anyone have any suggestions, or is this just a bug with Canvas that we have to live with?

So i made this simple interactive media and using 000webhost for hosting : http://multimediainteraktiftest1.000webhostapp.com/ But it runs poorly in xiaomi device and the animation runs so slow I think it's 1-2 fps, very Lagging. im using poco x3 nfc and also tried it in other xiaomi device and get same result(both using chrome and opera for android) But when i try it in other device like realme it runs smooth(it also run smooth in windows pc) And also when i change the phone orientation in xiaomi from portrait to lanscape the lag suddenly disappear but the interactive media resolution turn blurry.  Any solution for this problem? And sorry for my bad English.

I teach Adobe Animate at a college. Recently I was updating the app and discovered, when updating a lecture about the user interface, that there are no assets. There are no custom or default assets for animated, static and sound clips. At the bottom of the panel there is a message that says the download failed. Next to the message is a cloud with an arrow icon that when I clicked, gave me an error message and froze the app. I have images of both. I am at a loss about this. I also uninstalled and then reinstalled but I am having the same issues. Are canned assets no longer included? Anyone else experiencing this? Is there a solution? Thank you in advance for your help.

Created an animation in AS3.0 .fla using Animate CC. I have a mask inside of a symbol in the animation which of course works fine exported to swf but when I publish to Canvas the mask is not there. I looked into the new .fla file Canvas  produced and I see there is no layer mask and I see the message in the outputWARNINGS:** 2 Bitmaps packed successfully into 1 spritesheet(s).Frame numbers in EaselJS start at 0 instead of 1. For example, this affects gotoAndStop and gotoAndPlay calls. (5)Can Canvas export working masks?

I honestly don't get why it is so slow. I already checked and I meet the system requirements. It can climb the ram usage to at least 71% which shoun't be that bad. I need help with improving Adobe Animate's performance. I have no idea how.

If I draw a face with eyes (each as symbols), then parent the eyes to the head, and move them around via classic tween, it will create a basic animation on the timeline. Then if I go into the eyes symbol to edit them or add a blink, I can only view the frame that I clicked on, and scrubbing through the symbol timeline won't show me the original animation, What can I do to see the main root timeline as I scrub through each frame of the symbol timeline? This would be useful to see the relative position of the symbol in the main timeline as you edit it. Thanks in advance.

I'm trying to make multiple instances of my symbol square but this error keeps happening and i have no idea how to fix it. I am not expirenced in Flash coding and I have no idea what a "compile-time constant" is. It should be working. I already enabled Export for Actionscript and I'm using the class name. Please help me this is very annnoying 

So I try to avoid bitmaps at all costs, because I want my graphics to look good on any screen size. Bitmaps can be heavy in file size too. But what is better for the browser? I have animated graphics running 60fps and 30fps. The 60fps run extremly smooth, the 30fps are kinda janky. Both 30fps and 60fps lag sometimes, almost always on safari. 30fps graphic, janky slider: https://kartent-graphic-proef.marked-design.nl/60fps graphic, really smooth: https://bikeflip.msgv.nl/ So two questions:1. Is a 60fps animation something to always avoid for web?2. Should I use bitmaps or vectors?

One of my students updated Animate and when he came online for the session he had Thumbnails (similar to any editing software) on the timeline instead of the age old · I asked him how he did it, and he did not know, said it was an accident that he liked, but couldn't remember what he did "wrong."I can't seem to find that option in the menus, or the icons anywhere around the timeline. 

Hello, I'm trying to add a button with an hyperlink to a page on my website to the last frame (the animation is programmed to stop after the last frame) of an HTML5 Canvas animation; when I try the animation in preview the link just works fine, but when I publish it it does not work. What am I missing? Hi,I want to share a album of thumbnail images for a client with several photos without them being able to download them, it's only so they can make a selection. Is there any adobe software that allows me to do this without editing in photoshop please? Thanks

I am having trouble using the video component functions in Animate after converting from Action Script 3 to HTML5. I am using Animate 23.0 and created a fully functional file using Action Script 3. After creating the file that I wanted with screen organization, I used the in-program option to convert the file to HTML5 so that I could share the file with other people (as Action Script 3 produces an swf which is no longer supported). When I did this, all of my externally linked video files (45) were removed as expected, but then when I tried to add video files through the components menu (leaving the components properties as default), I ran into substantial problems. The first video component, which is linked to a file on my computer (we'll call it File A) would not load in Test Mode. Test Mode showed that File A was loading, but nothing ever loaded and eventually the loading icon stopped. I tried using a different video file (File B), which I created in the exact same way as File A

I just decided to update adobe animate, but now i cannot find where the option to resize my eraser tool is. can some please tell me where it is?

This is happening to me with a specific audio file, when I tried importing another audio file it seemed to work fine. Basically when I scrub through this specific audio, I get lag and the audio is pretty quiet, I can't even hear the vowels/constanants at all. I just hear small pips and crackles and it's impossible to do lipsync. I have the audio set to stream so it couldn't be that. I even tried importing the audio to premiere pro and the scrubbing sounds perfect in there. but in flash it's not working properly. I wonder what would cause this to happen?

I've been using Animate for years on my old mid-2012 mac (OS 10.14.6) and it always worked just fine until Creative Cloud recently stopped offering older versions and only allows 23.0. I believe I was using 21.0 before. Is there a way I can download any version of Adobe Animate older than 23.0? Preferably 21.0. Thanks.

Hi all, I use Adobe animate cc and working on a canvas javascript project.  For the life of me I cannot figure out how to make a graphic line look blurry.  I've tried everything I can think of, followed every tutorial and lead without success.  Can someone put me out of my misery please.  

Hello,My animate files keep sending themselves to the adobe cloud, then the auto-recovery can't find it and creates a new file. Now I get a new file whenever I save or it saves itself. I've looked for settings in both Animate and Adobe file manager but can't find anything. Thanks for any help.
