its adobe animate v 21.0.8 does anyone know how to solve this problem ? i tried reinstalling and downloading a lower version of animate but it didnt work... 

I am trying to copy hindi text from document, but there are spelling mistakes. Is there a fix?Sharing SS with the wrong spelling.

Hello everyone, *Please be nice i have a bad eng* I have a simple question but i found nowehere an answer. I'll start to make amateur animations, like podcast with characters as you can see on Youtube, and i know audio is important.I have Audition with my pack so i thought it's maybe a good choice to make basic adjustements. But i definetly ask myself if it's necessary, or i just can do these adjustements in my microphone program and add it directly in Animate. My question is : In my level, is Audition is appropriate for me ? Is the software can help me to do audio works easier and faster than just import files in Animate ? Thanks in advance 

I was trying Adobe Animate on my Surface Pro (5th Gen) but I realized the pen was incredibly off while drawing. I haven't found this issue in literally all other software, including Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, OneNote, and so on. It's just Adobe Animate. I don't believe it to be a calibration issue, and I tried turning down Smoothing on the brush, but that didn't work. So I'm using a sprite sheet and all the keyframes for a symbol are in different spots, is there a way to set one position for all of them? Thanks!

I cannot figure out how to apply the art brush styles. I've done this a while ago, but it's not apparent to me now where it is. I looked up the Adobe help, and the brush is called "Paint brush tool". Mine is called "Classic brush". Is there a paint brush tool somewhere that is different than classic brush? I don't have the style drop down, etc.  

Hi, I create a keyframe but doesn't work, I can put an image on that keyframe but I can't modify(free transform) , and when I create the keyframe appear a blank keyframe. I take a print screen to see my problem,  Thanks.Update: The keyframes doesn't work anymore by the frame number 16002

 so if i make an oval or a present shape thing like line tool, it doesnt let me draaw over hat on the same layer. it makes these weird cuts on the out line. other people have told me to use a different layer, (but then i cant fill since its on a sepert layer) and i cant do object mode. but when i use pen tool, it doesnt make tghe cuts but pen tool isnt very smooth even though i have smooth on. what do i do

I've been seeing this happen with Flash for at least 17 years, but now I am losing my mind because I cannot find a way to fix it my already broken curves. You would have seen this happen if you drawn shapes in Flash or Animate for any significant amount of time.. I draw a circle over another curve, and the shape of the circle becomes angled with flat edges. This doesn't happen with Illustrator. The only thing that is set to snap is the grid. Why not just use the same mechanisms behind how Illustrator makes vecotrs in Animate?? Watch it happen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQxP9aluoXE No one should have to be scammed $35 a month for this trash.

Hello! I don't know how this happened, but before it was fine. This also happens with the main screen.

I wouldn't be surprised to find that a solution is available somewhere on this site, but I'm having trouble finding it and hoping that ya'll can help direct me. The few threads I've found are all at least a few years old and deal with similar, but slightly different problems. I'm using Animate CC on a windows Surface Pro 4 running windows 10, everything have been updated to the latest and greatest versions available as of this posting.  OK, so the problem; when using animate my pen input (standard surface pen) jumps up about 1 inch from the point of contact. From there it's pressure sensitive and tracks the pen motion fine, but it stays at the elevated level. There is a line from the initial point of contact to where the input jumps too. The pen input works fine in all other adobe and windows products that I have. The error appears to be directly related to animate and the pen input as I can use my finger and the mouse pad and both work fine.  I've attache

I'm currently making animation for game sprites, and a couple of characters look best with a warp tool due to their design. My first sprite, a dolphin, worked perfectly with the asset warp tool and had no issues. Recently however, every time I just to move anchor points on a warped image causes the colours to either vanish or switch which makes it impossible to work with. The only thing I can recall doing different to my first attempt was update the app and others agree it appears to be a glitch.I've attached a mp4 file showcasing the issue. I thought it initially might be the way as I was colouring since I would colour in sepereate layers underneath the linework and then merge it all together, so I tried just colouring all on the single layer but that didn't help either.

I am using a a remote and I would like to set one of the dials for zoom in and zoom out. Currently, the only option in the keyboard shortcut menu that I see is for "zoom in" and "zoom out" which operates on increments of 50% the zoom level in either direction. It's a very jerky experience with or without the remote dial.  If I use the up and down arrow buttons next to the zoom percentage, I can adjust zoom level by 1% at a time. Is there anyway to map that to a keyboard shortcut?

I've got 2 brush related questions... 1. When I draw with the brush tool the stroke shows as semi opaque until I lift my pen from the tablet at which point it changes to solid. I can't figure out where to change this setting - as well as being distracting, it takes a moment for it to process the switch (which doesn't work well with the sketchy style I'm trying for!). I've got smoothing set to 0%. How do I stop this from happening? 2. Is there a way to better mimick pencil strokes? I've enabled pressure sensitivity but I also want the pressure to control opacity so lighter strokes are less opaque. I'm using the brush tool since the pencil tool doesn't seem to allow pressure sensitivity and smoothens my stroke even when smoothing is set to 0%. Thanks for any advice! 

My animate app continues to crash and close everytime I attempt to import a file from illustrator.  It worked fine just a couple days ago.  HELP!!! Please!!!! 😞

  I need to get, the beginning and end of the brush.I don't know how to get the exact point.    

I'm working on a plugin that takes many steps to process, and I would like to only have it output a single history to the history array.On previous versions using "fl.runScript();" allowed anything that would be placed into history to be combined into a single history step, both on the main timeline and inside a symbol's timeline. When testing my tool on Animate CC 2019 however, if im inside a symbol this gets blown up to like the 10 seperate steps it's using. Additionally, because of the way CC needs to render before continuing, this makes the plugin almost un-usable on bigger timelines, where it would run perfectly on older versions of Flash. Is there any way to bypass this history output? It works great on the main timeline, but symbol timelines are handicapping it. Thanks.

MacOS 11.5.2Animate 21.0.8 Steps: -Make a filled shape.-Go to color and choose linear gradient-Double-click the color on this tool.-A color swatch panel comes up-If you place your cursor over the document, it becomes the sample tool-Click to sample the color on your filled shape.  A click on the document immediately follows, which means any tool you had selected will perform it's operation. For example, it is the fill tool was selected, and you attempt to sample the color on the shape you drew and that layer is unlocked, then it will not only sample the color, but it will also fill the shape with the gradient. Even worse off, this is not even the current color you sampled, but the previous linear gradient before the sampled color that was applied to it. 

I'm taking an class online and you have projects where you follow through the book.Unfornately the book is from way back 2018. I have 2021. I tried downloading the same version but adobe told me 2018 has glitches and don't use it. Most of the settings are the same except this:Top is Book 2018  The bottom is 2021 (new version) New version 2021.See how the blend button are different. One says visible and this one shows up hide object. Is it in a different settings or did Adobe remove this?  

So a pet peeve of mine is how animate seemingly makes you scroll out and manually add more frames for the audio to show up, or so I think. Is there a way to import audio to a timeline and have the entire audio show up?

Once I have my new computer, I'm wondering if installing Animate on it will cause any issues with my current license? Will I need to deactivate the software on my old machine before it will let me activate it on my new computer? Or, once I install it on my new computer, will the software become unusable on my old computer? Thanks in advance.

I think there might be a problem with my doc and I'm not sure how to fix it. I created an HTML Canvas Doc in Animate and published it. It gave me an Output warning saying: Content with both bitmaps and buttons may generate local security errors in some browsers if run from a local file system. I originally created my work on a flash drive for school. I re-published it on my computer to have it located on my desktop. I closed out of Animate and ejected my flash drive. I re-tested the HTML and it worked at first, then I placed it in a new folder and it completely stopped working on me. I have no clue why putting it in a folder would suddenly cause a problem. Please help!

I don't know how this happened, other than a bug, but I open my project to discover everything in every keyframe has moved down a few pixels. Accuracy is crucial, so this is devastating if it cannot be fixed easily. The grid is set to 20x20 pixels. 

Hello AllLike a dinosaur I am trying to convert a number of Shockwave Flash animations to HTML5.               They were created with SWF Version 6,  and interactively rotate using the arrow keys.They have one frame, one sprite and two buttons.Action Scripts  are:   On (Key Press “<Right>”) {r = r+1; ‘line”._ rotation = r;On (Key Press “<Left>”) {r = r-1; ‘line”._ rotation = r;   Frame 1 Do Action r = 0; Creating a video from/by rotating the sprite (click by click) through 360 degrees is not really an answer. The video folder is huge relative to the original interactive SWF object and fine interactivity is lost by using the slider in its track to position the ‘sprite’ - compared to arrow key control.Is there a conversion tool that would work?  Adobe Animate maybe or Capitivate? Adobe AIR?What would work best if I have to rebuild the animations?I’m out of my depth an
