Animate

What does it mean when this warning shows when I paste a rigged character (previouse version of Flash) to a new stage/html canvass using Adobe animate 2021? Warnings generated while copying/importing in Untitled-2:* LinearRGB type of Fill cannot be imported in HTML5 Canvas document.

Hey there. I just wanted to know if anyone has some ideas on performance / memory usage if audio clips are added to the timeline as events, instead of using code to play them back? If a timeline is full of sounds being played back, is there anything special i need to do for garbage collection? Are they sitting in memory before they are played because the entire MC is on the stage? Do they prevent an MC from being garbage collected once it's removed from the stage? I hope i'm being clear enough, not sure how else to ask this.Thanks!

Hey, so I've noticed a trend while working on backgrounds for my videos. I'll get one done and it'll look great. I'll save then when i log back in the file has decided to fill in random parts of my drawing with black. Here is a pic to show you what i'm talking about This is a mild example. Sometimes When i re-open a file some of the lines are all broken and look like someone raked a piece of charcoal over a paper. I'm tired of having to go back and manually color in the blacked out portions after I know I saved it without it being blacked out. Can someone tellme what's happening, or is it just another adobe-glitch?

Hey, I'm back again. After changing my preferences i'm getting alot less buggs but it's still occasionally freezing while the task manager shows only 48% of the cpu/ram is being used....ALSO, I notice that i'm getting all the freezing while i'm using the paintbucket tool. It is also filling in random areas of my drawing that i didn't even click on with the color black as seen in this screenshot. Any ideas what this is, and why is animate so damn buggy lately? I went a year without problems and now i've struggled for 3 weeks to get anything done with the software.  I hate to ask on adobes forums, but anyone know another animation program that isn't so buggy?

Hallo, ich bin neu in Adobe und folge einem Tutorial um mit Adobe Animate anzufangen.Im Tutorial wird gezeigt wie man vom Dark-Mode auf einem weissen Hintergrund ändert.Im Tutorial wird ein Mac benutzt, wo man dann unter dem Reiter "animate" das alles einstellen kann. Ich bin aber auf einem Windows-Gerät und da lässt isch "Animate" gar nicht anklicken. Was muss ich tun? LG Lars

Ist es möglich 3D Objekte, die man in Dn erstellt hat, in An zu animieren? In Blender hat man ja die Möglichkeit die modellierten Objekte direkt im Anschluss zu animieren. Was muss ich tun um das auch bei Adobe Programmen zu tun?LG

I have a HTML canvas with a transparent button that makes the entire area clickable except when I add in a video component it overrides the button. I have tried making the video component clickable as well. The url does not go directly into the action script (see screen shot), I cannot mess with the script as this is what is used for tracking purposes. I have included a link to the creative. Hi. I'm trying to make stars twinkle in and out of existence. I'm pretty new to flash. How would I go about have a bunch of small stars disappear and then reappear in each frame, switching back and forth? Thanks.

I have this issue with adobe animate where sometimes when i draw something and press Ctrl or switch to the eraser a window pops up saying "Animate is processing strokes please wait" and the it will erase what i just drew. cans someone help me with this please?

I'm using version 21.0.7. In my project, I have a series of bubbles containing text that float to the top of the stage. When I export and watch the video, the text within these bubbles is jittery, i.e., the letters shift from left to right. Each bubble is a graphic, made from an .svg file I imported to the library from Illustrator, then classic tweened along a guide path. I tried making the bubbles with motion tweens, but I can't get the hang of making the motion path exactly how I want it, with just the right curves. The method I described above has served me well, save for the jittery text. You might ask why I didn't just make the bubbles themselves using the illustration tools in Animate, and it's because I think they're awful compared to those in Illustrator. The larger bubble graphic shown below, I made in the same way, and the text doesn't shift on these, only the smaller ones. I went ahead and made another small message bubble graphic using the tools in Animate, and no, the text

so my adobe animate freezes i cant move tools or the frame viewer.. i tryed to open the APP only and it still freezes in a minute or like 30 minutes.. and also i think its not responding 

Hey, so I'm getting tired of having to scroll down to my custom swatches past the ton of default swatches, How can I delete that folder or at least move it?

Just updated Animate to v21.0.9 and my action script text is tiny. Any ideas? Thanks.

I'm just about to move to toon boom studio just for this issue, increasing size with {} keys? came on... that's awfull, so If I need to switch from size 1 to size 50 I need to press 50 times }. well done Adobe, really smart. By the way, alt+rightmouse+drag isn't working at all on animate 2020.

I am using the Default preloader for a HTML5 animation to have something on the screen during the transition between two Animate files. The first published Animate's .html page links to another and there is a lag while the second one loads. This jump from one HTML file to another happens right after "The following six patients arrive at your Emergency Department(ED)." Depending the screen size, the default throbber GIF shows in the corner or not at all. I would love for it to be centered horizontally and vertically. My Publish Settings are set to "Make Responsive" with Center Stage unchecked. With Center Stage Checked it does center horizonatally, but not vertically. Is there a setting I am missing? Also, I would like to create my own preloader, is there a certain size I should make it? My animate piece is sized 1920x1080. 

Laletly I've been creating animations at different aspect ratios and resolutions for social media posts. The problem is, whenever I test preview the animation with the Ctrl+Enter "TestMovie" shortcut, the swf preview window that pops up is not the same aspect ratio of my actual animation and I have to resize it every time I close it and re-run the TestMovie shortcut. I also work with a 1920x1080 external monitor that I like to preview the animations on, but when I test 4K animations I have to scale down the preview window down everytime.  I undertstand it is possible to just adjust the preview window and leave it open and looping on my second monitor so that any new TestMovie previews play at the right size and ascpect ratio, but it is distracting as the animation keeps looping and replaying the audio. Even turning off the "Play" and "Loop" options for the preview window doesn't stop some symbol animations from what I've experienced.I'm also aware you can dock the s

Hi. I have just returned to adobe animate after a few years away. LOVE it.My question is that we are using a MySQL database and PHP calls. Has jquery got a lot more functionality than createJS? This is to power our edtech platform to teach English.If anybody has links to tutorials that would be great.

Anyone make a pharma isi banner using animate? 

Can you feather objects or symbols in Animate? I assume you can't have any feathered vectors in Animate, because when I try to import .svg files containing objects that are feathered into the library in Animate, it won't let me. When I try to just drag the shape from Illustrator to the stage, Animate makes it a raster. In other words, do feathered objects have to be rasters in Animate, or am I missing something? When I animated in Powerpoint, it supported feathered vectors (I think).
