Animate

I know that the chances of anybody helping me with this software glitch is the same as winning the lottery. But I am desperate, And do not know what else to do? So here I go... For a long time now, I have been using Adobe Flash Professional, Creative suite 5.5 as my primary animation program. And I have been using a VisTablet, Drawing tablet, to make my illustrations into animation. Also, I am using an HP Pavilion laptop with a secondary HP monitor on its side. The laptop is equipped with a touchscreen display as it's monitor. Two monitors for horizontal and vertical viewing. I've been using my tablet with my secondary monitor throughout the year 2017.Starting in December 2017, I have encountered an interface problem. Whenever I try to draw a simple vertical line in adobe flash with any tool, The curser disappears and the whole stage moves around. Hi.I need to display an image from an external url. For example, if I click on component 1, I get the image of component 1 and if I then click on component 2, it changes the source of the image and shows the image of component 2.I'm fetching the info from a database and I can load all the texts without problem when I change the component, but I don't know what to do with the image.Thank you very much in advance for the collaboration.

So I have an asset, a block, I turn that block into a symbol I place the block to the left of the screen at frame oneI then go to frame 5 and place the block to the right of the screen. A frame is not created Ok start again.So I have an asset, a block, I turn that block into a symbol I place the block to the left of the screen at frame oneTHIS time I create a key frame at frame 5 and on that frame move the block to the right. The only result is that the block is duplicated (i'll call the new block block B and the first block on frame 1 block A). If I delete block A on frame 5, it is deleted throughout the animation and no longer appears on frame 1.  Why is it doing this? I just want a simple animation of a block moving across the screen yet it wont let me animate the asset, it just duplicates it. Any ideas?

Hello,I have a Wacom Cintiq 24 DTK-2420 as my second display. When I try to use Adobe Animate, the mouse is out of sync. This is incredibly frustrating. Edit > Preferences > Drawing > Tablet Input is set to 'Windows Ink.'  Please help. Hi,I just recently started using Animate, and have created a short animation that I want to use on my company's website. The purpose of the animation is to show the structual benefits (in a very simplified form) of using an integration platform as opposed to having many point-to-point connections between applications in your IT environment.  I would really appreciate some feedback on the animation, along with some tips on how to make it a bit more lively or "professional looking". I have also encountered some technical issues - for example, I have struggled with the color of the ERP symbol - I just cannot make the color transition smoothly from red to white/transparent.  Not sure if it is ok to post this kind of broad enquiry on the forum - if that's the case please point me in the right direction. Thanks!

The top one is a static text box and the bottom is a dynamic text box. In the fla the text is the same but as html the second one (Dynamic) becomes this weird combination of characters. Is there any way to fix this and why does this happen? 

Hi everyone, I've created an animation for a website in Animate. I publish the animation using the JS/HTML option and then open the final file in a web browser, the dimensions are wrong and it's cutting half of the animation off.  See Screenshot below. I have worked on my project for a while. I have opened branches for every new feature on the project.I decided to merge all my work from the other branches to the master.Now when I run the master branch a large part of my project won't play the audio. I checked the console and saw this:I have tried reverting the merge with no luck.Can anyone give me some insight to this?

My eng not very well sorry.In Windows Chrome browser, "createjs.Touch.enable(stage)" touch not working, my Animate project was working in touch monitors or laptops, after new update in chrome browser it is not working anymore. Didn't the createjs library fix this? How to fix this problem?

Hi!This is probably very basic... but...in as3 (air for desktop) is there a way of, inside a movieclip, use the same code (goto1) , for the exactly sabe button along different keyframes without need to repeat the code several times?I am able to do it if I start in frame 1, but not if I star it in frame 2. Thank you all 

Hi I just started learning to use Animate and I want to lip-synch an already rigged character. Inside of the head-layer everything works but on the outside it seems like the keyframes from inside of the head layer are at the completely wrong timing. It worked at first but as soon as i added a keyframe for bodymovement everything got mixed up (I rigged the character then did the facial expressions and the lipsynch and then wanted to do the bodymovements). Now when i open up the head layer from the first frame on the rigging layer then its on frame 50 or something on the head layer. It may have something to do with the loop-options but I don't know how to fix it.Thanks in advance 🙂

Please help. I'm creating a interactive book using action script. Well i have assigned each layer a movie clip symbol and inside that symbol I have several sound file. On the 1st layer (my first page) I have buttons to goto the specific layer (Page) but when I click on the button all the sounds overlapping each other. Please help me... I'm stuck on this.HELP.

I am finishing up a three minute animated music video in Adobe Animate 2020, and as soon as I'm done with this project I will never use this program again. I've experinced so many strange glitches, I feel like the program itself is trying to drive me crazy. I had a camera layer, but when I tried to add a camera movement at the end of the project, it created phantom camera bumps in other scenes, where there were no keyframs so I couldn't fix it. I decided the camera tool was unusable, and settled on exporting the project and recreating the camera in After Effects. In order to do this I expanded my document size, which caused the program to freeze up every time. Finally I was able to get the document expanded by increasing it in increments of 100 pixels at a time over and over again. Took 20 minutes. Then I turned off "advanced layers" so I could export it as an SWF archive, and lo and behold, the program has somehow deleted random pieces of drawings all throughout the project, with no s

When i use a bruh that has lowered opacity, and i draw on a shape, the brush automaticly turns to 100 percent opacity and I dont know why. but if I use object drawing mode it works and iI dont like object drawing mode.

Hello,When I'm trying to export my adobe animate sequence this "compiler error" appears and then in my exported movie the Animated camera doesn't exist and things change proportions in a way that doesn't happen when the sequence is being previewed in the application.  Not sure if the compiler error is connected to the exporting issues but desperately need help to fix this! 

In Animate I have added an audio layer to multiple layers imported from Adobe Illustrator. When in "zoomed in" Timeline view, playing what I have built, the actual audio sounds I hear don't coincide with where they are located by the amplitude for them on the audio layer -- the vertical line moving from left to right through the frames is not at the frames in the timeline with the amplitude matching the sound I hear. Whereas when playing in "mountain/zoomed out" in Timeline viewit dors coincide. The problem is that I need to be in "zoomed in" Tomeline view to align specific Illustrator graphics (on other layers) with sound cues -- which then turn out to be "wrong" when played in "zoomed out" Timeline view. How can I fix this?

I am used to Adobe Character Animator... I see Animate is a bit different. I imported a drawing from Illustrator into Animate and I need to animate just 2 items in the drawing, but how do you drop the time line layers so that I can create a movement for them? 

...This is really annoying.I work with adobe cs5. Recently, it started to not work. I would have to restart it over and over to get it to compile an swf properly. So I am trying cs5.5. Hello! I am doing a simple project in adobe animate and my project is working fine on my website in desktop browser, but in mobile browser when I click on the canvas the canvas shows a blue layer. That blue layer is actually the canvas itself, it turns blue as I click and it's very annoying.

Hello!I just installed Animate to try to start learning puppet animation, and I'm running into a couple of problems... the first is, whenever I draw a line on the stage, the line immeiately disappears? I can highlight it and change its color, but the moment I de-select it, it turns invisble again. So, I figure that I'll check the document settings to see if something there will be the fix, but when I attempt to go into my document settings, the entire program freezes. This... is not a great start. Any advice on how to get around both of these issues will be much appreciated. Thank you!
