Animate

So at first I though I just messed up a mask layer. Now, I thing there may be a hard or soft limit on how many layers and keyframes I can have.I opened a new layer to add a glow effect to one of my animations. My new layer is unlocked, They are blank keyframes i'm drawing on. It's not even a mask layer, but a normal layer. And when I try to draw, the blank frame just... doesn't take it, even though it's selected and not even locked. And I've looked at my other layers, the brush stroke doesn't go to any of them. I even looked at my history, and I se no brushtroke in my reent history.

Hi i have this code and get the error stated above. This isn't my code I am an absolute noob and someone with far more skill created it. Hello, I've created a quite a large workspace. I use 2 tracks - for the background and a small animated object. Already "interesting" is the fact that the animated figure, which is quite small compared to the workspace, is only displayed when I zoom in to a certain degree. If I try to export the animation as a video, an MP4 file is created at the end via Media Encoder, but the layer with the animated figure is not visible. Are there restrictions in the form that animated objects must have a minimum size compared to the workspace? ...or what could be the reason? Many thanks and greetings Torsten

Hello there! I have somme issues since month on OS X Catalina and Animate: impossible to export videos with Animate and I have this message when I use command+enter for publication too : "Erreur d’ouverture de l’URL 'file:////Users/davidcez/Documents/etc...".I wonder if it's not some permission error on my hard drive, maybe Animate exporting file command seems not autorized?...However I already autorized all Creative Cloud App to access all my hard drive...Any others ideas?!Thanks!

Hi guys,I'm making a scoreboard on Adobe Animate, but I'm having issues in regards to sound for buttons.Scoreboard is similar to the one used on the TV Quiz show "The Chase". I've some created buttons for this scoreboard. These buttons are:Add one [point] for Team - Button 1Chaser [Point] Pushback - Button 2Add One [point] for opponent - Button 3    Function:Button 1 - When this button is clicked, it goes to "next Scene and plays[s]".  Button 2 - When this button is clicked, it goes to "Previous frame and stop[s]". Button 3 - When this button is clicked, it goes to "next frame and stop[s]".   I want a sound effect to be played when clicked.   I've imported 2-4 second sound effects (mp3 files) to the library. I've got an mp4 with animated storyboard / sound and I need to build up posing and lipsync on a layer above that. My problem is I can't get the sound to play. Please help!

So far I've been unable to find any settings or preferences that contain an option for this... This is my main screen:  This is the part of the timeline that has the current frame and frame rate, but not the current time in seconds, eg 1.8s. I can see the 1s, 2s, 3s on the line with the frames, but it doesn't show the exact part of the second I'm on now. As you can see in this older example picture I found on the help page, there is the current time in seconds at the bottom of the timeline (0.9s) in yellow text. At least for the total length. I need current time.

Hello! I am publishing html5 banner using adobe animate and when I upload it to 'ads validator', it give errors(as shown in the screenshort attached) and when I remove the errors(adding the size, the first error and deleting the script, the second error), the html file don't have anything except the canvas in it.Regards!

Hello everybody.I created an interactive infographics, that includes a few buttons to click on for further information.On mouseclick a movieclip starts to show a little animation (for example, a car is driving from one side to the other and some text appears). I would like to add sound to this car while running. But it seems, sound in movieclips is not working on HTML5-Canvas. Is that right? Does sound really only work on the main timeline? I just need some confirmation before I go to prepare my students that they won't be able to add sound to this peace of work...Problem is, it's an interactive infographics for the internet, we can't use ActionScript 3....Man, everything was that easy when there was shockwave all around... 😉Thanks for your help.

Hello Fellow Adobe Animator's! I've been Having a problem with exporting my animations lately...and it's really bugging me. so, i've been working on an animation for something (which isnt really important) for about 2 weeks or so..it's only a 50 second clip..and today i was finally ready to export. my settings in adobe animate were W: 3840 H:2160 span:entire movie format: H.264 preset: YouTube 2160p 4k ultra HD. those are my export settings...and everything looks about right. after i hit export. media encoder opens up (as it usually does) .I simply export my animation into a folder called "animations" then once im done. i go to my animations folder on my pc to check my mp4 out. and once i watch a few seconds of it.. i notice a few frames are missing. it was bascially like if the a  certain part of the video was cut out on its own. i go back to adobe animate see if i accidentally deleted the frames.. but, no. their still there. so, i export again. and once its back in media en

Good Morning. I want to scale all the content in my application to adapt to any mobile device so that the content objects grow or shrink adapting to any screen, but without distorting. I am investigating with stage.scaleMode, but all the options they give have some problem.I have read with with StageScaleMode.NON_SCALE, combined with a RESIZE event, you can fit all the content to the window, while maintaining the size and proportions of the individual assets.What I really want is for the objects to adapt to any window and grow, but not distorted and not cut ... perhaps this is not possible.Any ideas?. how to use pixel tools in adobe animate macOS El-capitan

Hi I'm trying to finish/export my first project with the program and all was going well and I was happy with the results until I tried to preview in browser and it looks very odd like the images shrunk and are doing strange things. First image is what the canvas looks like in Animate and second is what it looks like in browser.Not sure what happened. Let me know what other info I can give to help figure this out. Again its my first time using the program so I may just be missing some setting or something. 

Rather than create the usual line or shape, whatever line or shape I draw with the brush tool is immediately converted into an outline of the shape or line once I release the pressure from the stylus. Similarly, if I try to use the fill tool, instead of filling a given gap or hole, the whole layer's worth of drawings are converted to these outlines. These outlines look similar to the outline shown when I press the "Show Layer as Outline" button, but in whatever color is currently selected as the "Fill Color". This without the "Show Layer as Outline" button even being selected for the layer I'm drawing on.If I do activate the "Show Layer as Outline" button, what I see is each individual stroke or shape drawn as it's own outline as if the "Object Drawing" button was selected (by this I mean that rather than a large shape being shown by it's own outline, I would see every single stroke taht makes up that larger shape. Hi all, I'm working on an animation and I'm trying to get "speed lines" to fly across the background using ActionScript. I followed a tutorial I found which gave me the code below. It's supposed to spawn symbols and move them across the stage. However the code does not compile. I'm met with error 1046 "Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: speedline." Presumably, the problem is that it can't identify a "speedline" class, symbol, object, whatever it needs in order to instantiate a new one. As seen in the screenshot below, I've defined the class "speedline" in the Symbol Properties. But when I click the checkmark, I get the error "A definition for this class could not be found in the classpath, so one will be automatically generated in the SWF file upon export." This doesn't seem to happen as the exported SWF still does not show the lines. I've also tried saving the speedline.as script in the same folder as the .fla file with no luck. Hi, so I accidentally turned my timeline panel into a window panel. It was really difficult for me to use it as a windows and I can't put it back even if I close or re-opened it. I want it to go back where it was originally stayed and its more convenient since the lower scroll bar is above it and now its below it. The view was kinda difficult. 

I am a logo maker I newly received one project to make the animated logo but I have one problem I have seen to many logos on google but I don't recognize the fonts style Now I want to say one question that is the how I can do this I pick the many of the fonts styles in the <superfluous link removed-kglad>

I made an short 5 minutes movie on Adobe animate but when I go to export it, only 3 minutes of the animation is converted, how do I get the entire animation exported.
