Zoom in Animate is extremely limited. Often I need to zoom just to a more convenient view than the shortcuts let me. I know I can set it manually in the drop down Zoom window, but this is counterproductive - I would like to have a shortcut, that zooms in increments of 25%, or at least to create several custom zoom presets, like 75%, 125% etc.Is there any script I can use to make this happen?thanks
Hi allI was wondering if any one would know how to transfer a picture from Adobe Photoshop to Adobe Animate.
[INTRO] I've been writing codes for a year now, and many people have told me that I'm the worst programmer there is. I know the basics, but somehow I missed some of the fundamentals and the concepts, and now I'm stucked at my game development. I'm using Javascript in Adobe Animate to create a very very tiny game that only involves clicking with mouse. I followed a tutorial posted in this is site (this one) . I didn't copy the whole thing tho, I just trying to learn the basics and methods he's using. Now, there's a part in that tutorial that explains a bit about prototype. I have no idea what that is, and I just used it ignorantly as a way to bridge one function to another. [CODES]I have three scripts thatis distributed in three layers:function Main(){ this.Litter = new Litter(); this.Money = new Money(); litterP = 0; moneyP = 0; createJS.Ticker._addEventListener("tick", this.update.bind(this)); } Main.prototype.update = function(evt){ this.litterP=this.Litte
I am trying to use Adobe Animate for a rotoscoping project and the reference video that I am trying to import I would like to keep at 15 frames per second. The problem is, after importing the video, (I set the document to 15 fps beforehand), it works fine but as soon as I save and close the project, the next time I open it the second half of my reference video is cut off, but still the same number of frames, and the video plays slower than before. Any help is appreciated!
I have a problem with the animate tool. When I try to export to GIF animation, the window I get is not fully visible and there is no way to resize it. In fact I can't save the file because that button is off the screen. Can anybody help me?.Thank You!
The title pretty much says it all and I'm not even bothering to include a file. Here's the sequence:1. draw a square --> convert to symbol --> button.2. add over and hit states (different colors) and test (in my animate cc, chrome opens to show the button, if that matters). the button works fine. I see the square and it flashes when I click it.3. close test (close Chrome browser).4. select button, hit F9 (actions) --> code snippets --> Actionscript --> Click To Go To Webpage...(double click)5. don't change anything (I left adobe.com but it didn't make a difference after i tried changing it anyway to something else).6. test again. Chrome opens up, this time blank.7. remove actionscript from the actions (i literally deleted just the active code but left the commented language so SOMETHING was in there).8. Button works fine again!!! I can toggle between ActionScript and no ActionScript to reliably toggle the button disappearing/reappearing 100%of the time. As stated, this i
I am trying to create a interactive timeline for a companys' HQ on a touchscreen, I want the user to be able to scroll via touch with the timline to be able to float to a stop and other animations. Is this possible with Animate? Please help! Thank you!
for some reason all my other shortcuts are working but for sine reason my function commands aren't working. I'm new to the program and am learning by watching tutorials so it's very confusing when people are constantly telling me to use shortcuts that I don't know what they do bc they won't work for me. Help!
I have some Animate CC commands that I got from a Lynda.com (now LinkedIn) tutorial. They are tween and "next keyframe" commands. I searched the Commands folder in my file explorer, confirmed that it was the Commands folder for Animate CC, and copied the commands into the file as shown in the tutorial. However, the commands are not visible to me in the Animate CC commands dropdown as they were to the instructor in the tutorial. And they are not visible when I try to assign keyboard shortcuts either. I tried to attach one of the files to this inquiry, but it got deleted and I got a message in red from adobe that read: "correct the hilighted errors and try again. The attachment's tween shape-80.jsfl content type (application/octet-stream) does not match its file extension and has been removed." Is there another way to do this in the updated version? Is it possible that the commands from 2017 just don't work in 2020? Has anybody else had this issue? Any guidance is greatly
Hello Dear CommunityI want to make a bulb light on in a canvas project, by click and hold on the button, and when I release the button is turning off, can you help me with it.I need the codePlease help
Noticed recently that html5 ad's created with adobe CC ( latest version ) are not playing back at the correct speed once uploaded to googles doubleclick studio. I've tested multiple files with same result.I just created a simple file with a loop action at 10 seconds and a keyframe at each second with a number. The 10 second animation plays back perfectly when previewed locally, but when uploaded to DC studio the 10 second animation now takes 17 seconds. I was only alerted to this by captify recently who reported some ad's being over 30 seconds. When I checked the animate CC files they should of only been 20seconds total. I usually use 60fps, but have also tested 30fps with same results. Very slow playback when uploaded to doubleclick studio. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

Hi everyone so I'm very new to animation software and I'm not sure what I've done wrong. I have a very short 16 second animation with some audio over it I'm trying to export for a youtube video but every time I try to export it I just get a quicktime file that is the length of the animation but it's just a black screen and no audio.I've already moved the entire animation to start on the 2nd frame so the audio should be working, I'm just not sure whats wrong. Here's the dialog window in animate itself, I've also tried doing the "after time elapsed" option with the end of the animationHere's the queue in media encoder (latest update)I havent messed with the H.264 thing because I have no idea what that means but I haven't seen anyone say to change that. But the other drop down I've tried so many of the options there all with the same result I don't get it !I'm really not sure whats going on because I ran a MUCH longer animation (four minuets !) through it and while the audio was mangled th

Windows 10Version 18.0 (Build 107)Trying to load .jsfl Commands into Animate CC 2018.lynda.com tutorial says copy files to:C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Animate CC 2018\en_US\First Run\CommandsI don't see them in the commands menu. I can Choose run command and surf to the folder and select it. But that is a slow way to do it.Just want to use the advance to next keyframe on a hot key if possible. Thanks in advance for any ideas.-Ray
Anyone else seeing this? With work in the area of the new texture export feature, it appears that publishing no longer exports the JPEG spritesheet. It concatenates all jpegs into the PNG spritesheet. I tested this with a project done on Animate 2018 which worked, but no longer works in 19.2.Current settings:EDIT: Additional notes: when you import a PNG with no alpha/transparency, Animate 2018 and previous builds will assume it is to be lossy/jpeg. This is no longer the case.
I'm currently operating on a Cintiq 22HD and the pressure sensitivity isn't working specifically in Animate CC. The sensitivity works perfectly in every other software. The option is on my tool bar and when I turn it on, everything appears normal until I try to draw. When I go to draw something with the paint tool my cursor switches from the circle with the cross into the regular static circle with no pressure sensitivity. Hopefully it is a simple mistake but I haven't seen any other posts with this same issue.
I've done this sucessfully once, when an MP4/MOV file is embedded into the timeline using the "Load external video using playback" option. I like to sketch in another program to export as a .mp4 and then refine/color in Adobe Animate. However when I try to do this now only the first frame is imported, despite how many blank frames there are/what's selected etc. (if that's the problem). I've also tried converting the video to a .fla in Media Encoder and opening it that way, but the entire video is just white. When importing .mp4's from my other program (Krita), when choosing the skin it does say "No minimum width or height" if that's the issue, but I'm still unsure how to fix this. Thank you!
I used the following example as a starting point: Slider to control timelineHowever my slider needs to travel along a curved path. In my original version that wasn't interactive the slider simply animated along the path using a guide path.So using the linear example above I can control the movie clip using a second slider, but obviously that is constrained to moving along the x axis only, and with a rising curved bath the controlling slider and the animated sliders diverge. What is the best way to stop this from happening? My initial thought was to make the controlling slider invisible and then when released it would snap to the position of the visible slider on the y axis, but I have zero idea of how to make this happen. If there is a better way of doing this I'd be happy to use that, but please bear in mind that I know almost zero about javascript, so if I have to have to modify something existing I'll need it spelled out for me.Thanks!
Hello guys, I am working on an HTML5 canvas project in Adobe Animate. Need a bit of help!! I would like my project to jump randomly to specific frames for example frame 5, 10 and 15 in a random order onload what is the required code to achieve this? What I do know is; this.gotoAndStop(15+Math.random()*10);Onload jumps my project between frame 15 and ending at frame 25. Which does work sweet, but doesn't meet my brief. I am guessing that this code needs modifying. Kind regards
