Animate

Hi all, I just tried to install the plug in mentioned in the title after switching to Windows from Mac. I do not remember the last time I used Animate but this plugin was a godsend. Now I'm in urgent need of it for a project and I cannot install it no matter what I do. I saw a previous thread about this but none of the solutions provided have worked. I have tried multiple programs including WinRAR and Anastasiy's Extension Manager. The former doesn't recognize the zxp fiel type and the latter says the extension is already installed (its not.) I cannot access the zip file for th elife of me. Any help would be appreciated I'm losing my mind here lol.

Hi, I bought Dream Clean-Up plugin for Animate today. I'd like to point out that Animate and Creative Cloud App work on the lastest version.So, I've spent the last 3 hours and more trying to install this plugin. In Adobe CCA plugin section Dream Clean-Up appears as "installed", however I don't find it in Animate. I also tried a manually installation with zxp installer, but nothing.The plugin author's guide says: "If you are using Animate CS6 or higher: Open the .zxp file with WinZip, WinRar or any other archive opening programs...". I tried with both programs to open it, but this format seems unopenable. So any solution?

Say I wanted to share these for example, but I don't want the file info in the bitmap properties to leak my entire presence in life. How do I remove this little line of text?

Hi guys         I have an issue with Adobe Flash CS6. I got an installer from a friend and i clicked free trial and now i want to cancel it but it doesnt appear on my plan list on my adobe account, would just unistalling it help? Do you know any other solution to my problem? I got 2 days left! I would appreaciate an answer if you know how to solve it, at least have an solid idea how to solve it     Thanks.          

Hello, I am still learning Adobe Animate... I was able to find this code to put a video component behind objects on the scene: var dom_container = document.getElementById("dom_overlay_container");dom_container.style.zIndex=-1; I have two additional videos that will be displayed in a pop-up that I need over the objects. Is this possible to do?  See screenshots for image reference.

Is there a way to change the line design so it looks like this? its not smooth it has the funny design to it. idk how to say it. and i wanted to ask if there is a way to import like custom strokes to flash 8. To the line tool

Get a load of this: Anyone else having this issue? How do you get it to stop?Since I can't link to the video placed on my own server (...which would be a Valid Video URL), I had to put it on YouTube for the whole world to see.

I made the mistake of working on a much larger stage than I needed so when I publish the animation, there's a ton of blank space around my animation. I attempted to resize the stage and move my content, but this ruins my motion tweens and messes up the whole animation. Is there a way I can resize the stage centered on my animation or is there a way to move my animation and not ruin my objects/motions in the process? Thank you!

I've been working on an animation on a school computer when I tried opening another adobe animate file on top of the file I was currently working on. The file I opened closed out of my work and I've lost almost all of it. The only file I saved to my desktop was the work I did yesterday. It seems like I lost all the work I've done today. The thing that confused me is I have auto save on and it autosaved multiple times well I was working. I'm on a school computer so I have limited accsess to files. I really don't want to have to re-do 2 hours of animation. I'm new to adobe animate I've been looking to see if theres a way to access auto saved items somehow. Please help!

I'm working on an animation and I noticed when trying to export it (regardless of scene length, or even moving frames) I get a blank error upon the media encoder popping up. No exported file appears, just the blank error. I've tried resetting prefrences, running older versions of both the encoder and animate, but no luck. I've tried to export in quicktime and that sort of worked (horribly choppy quality) and I would prefer to export it in a usable format. I've exported stuff successfully years ago but this is a different computer, with different windows, and different versions of adobe programs. Any help would be appriciated, Thanks!

is there a bigger video version of the Help -> hands-on tutorials? I would like pupils to be able to watch the step by step guide for the bouncing ball on a bigger screen outside Animate.... if they need to.  I cannot find any.

Hello, Whenever I open Animate and try to open the hands-on tutorials I get this error saying it is not available at this moment. I have already updated, reinstalled and tried another version but it does not work.Specs:WIN10 x64Animate v21.0.06Adobe Creative Cloud V5.4.5.550

Hi!I need to be able to export a swf from a singular symbol in a document with many other symbols in it. I used to be able to do this in Animate 2018, but I am unable to find a way to do it in 2024 so far. I can export a swf but it exports everything in the document rather than just the symbol I have open. I was hoping that I could just licence Animate 2018 and use that, but it looks like Adobe no longer allows you to licence outdated software. Is there any way to get around this?Failing that, is there a way to just export swfs from symbols in Animate 2024? So for example if I had a file that had 10 symbols in it on a layer, and I opened one symbol and exported a swf movie from inside that symbol, it would export that one symbol and not the other 9? Thanks for your help, I hope that makes sense!

Hello Adobe, I’m experiencing a problem with the window > Extensions > Hands-on Tutorial window in Animate v23.0.5. When I select the aforementioned link, the extensions window fails to appear. Interestingly, this issue is not present in other versions of Animate. I’ve attachedscreenshots for your review. Additionally, even when I attempt to add a custom workspace, the panel remains invisible for this particular version. Could you kindly assist me in resolving this issue? I have a student trying to export their animation to an MP4 file. After Media Encoder exports it, the student tries to find the MP4 file in the output location they chose, but it cannot be found. We tried exporting it again, but it still does not appear, only the original .fla file is there. 

So I'm having an issue where I make a shape tween, it works, and when I test the scene everything is OK but when I exit Animate and go back in the shape tweens are gone and I have to put them in all over again. Could anyone help me figure out how to fix this please and thank you.

Yeah, so I figured out a work around for this, but it took over 37 tries and I'm still not quite satisfied. This is the scene:I have a horse, connected to a carriage. Because it's connected to a carriage I need 2 of them. They need the horse clomp sounds to time with the carriage+ equipment. I spent several weeks on this. TT I bought some coconuts for the horse clomping sounds, looked up horses walking ADRed it. So originally, I animated the horse first, then the horse harness equipment to time to the horse, then duplicated the horse to attach to the carriage.Fine. I timed the horse clomping sound to the horse's hooves.This was fine in full animation size. I make application in Adobe Animate CC 2021 and publish for Android. When I open my application,I see "White Stage" in display. How I can remove "White Stage" in my application? 

I've been working in Adobe Animate for a while now and have always been able to publish and open the created HTML file immediately into my default browser with the shortcut key command + return. Upon updating my Mac to Sonoma, animate no longer opens the HTML file in my browser. I now have to go to the file in Finder and manually open it. I can not find the setting that allows me to change this within Adobe Animate. Is there a setting I can change this on or is there another possible issue?

Hi, is it possible to create an HTML banner in Adobe Animate that is 100% responsive. So not only keeping the ratio by window size but setting all elements in a percentage ratio?So that the height of the banner is detached from the width.

this video mentioned that you can download a old version of macromedia flash for free that is LEGAL. I wanted to make sure because I know that pirated versions of software are a big problem and I wanted to make sure that this was approved by adobe (since they bought out macromedia).
