Hello!I previously created a thread about AnCode, which is my toolkit for Adobe Animate. Over time, maintaining the WindowSWF interface format became difficult, so I migrated to Adobe CEP. I kept the same look and functionality, and this move also allowed me to add macOS support, automatic theme switching, and manage the entire UI via Git, among other things. Furthermore, I recently added a slider for navigating a symbol's internal frames. Corrupted file in animate due to no space in disc... any chance to recover the file?

Hello!I have been diving in a lot of replies but nothing works for me.I have been working in a file and I usually work with several backs ups at the same time.Last friday I was working in a file when the computer started to complain about no space on disc. I cleaned the bin and everything seemed to work.So I saved the file, the back up and de recovering file was still there. No errors, no complains from animate, neither windows.And today I have found that all of them are corrupted!!!!I have been looking for extra temporary files in windows, I have made the rar stuff and it said that it cannot be fixed. I tried to open from other device: nothing. The files are aound 200 mgs and I before this I didn´t have any issue for opening them. Does someone have any extra solution?Thanks a lot.

Media Encoder Not Completing

When I test my movie in Animate, it ends on correctly on completion.  But the Media Encoder mp4 output always stops short a few seconds before the end.  (about 4100 frames).Is this a bug? Any suggestions? Thx

Is there a way to insert a blank key frame between two other key frames?

So I've been constantly attempting to make an animation, but every time it's choppy because of how I'm making my keyframes. I wanna add keyframes in between others to help the animation flow better, but I cant seem to find out how. I've tried to press f7 to insert a keyframe while highlighted over one, but it just cycles to the frame after it without adding a new one. Is there any way to do this?

Animate crashing constantly

Adobe Animate help!Animate keeps on crashing when I manually trace my jpg character sketch. It's a process I've done multiple times throughout my career.  Animate version: 24.0.12Computer: MacBook Pro 15 inch 2017, 3.1 ghz quad-core intel core i7Ram: 16 GB DDROS: Ventura 13.7.8Hard disc use: 940 GB of 1TB I just downloaded an older version (23.0.15) out of frustration to see if that works better.Anybody have an idea?

Madcap flare doesn't like Animate

Madcap Flare support tells my HTML guy that we can't include Adobe Animate files on the webpage using Madcap. How does someone get their Animate files to be deliverable in HTML? THis shouldn't be so hard. THe whole purpose is to get the file online. It was easy 20 years ago when it was flash. What happened? Why is this application seeming to be useless now?

Help Export HTML5 canvas banner 2025

Adobe Animate Version 24.0.12 Can I get some updated help on exporting HTML5 canvas banners from Animate? I keep getting blank page when publishing. Here is an HTML template that Gemini AI helped me write that doesn't work. I do have the createjs.min.js file and image folder all in the recommended folder structure. Curious if anyone is using Animate for display banners successfully. Any solution to "Could not load scene into memory. Your document may be damaged."

Hi! So I've been working on an animation in Animate CC and on Feb 28 the file got the "Could not load scene into memory..." error message. I've been saving it directly to iCloud drive and for some reason the recover files ALSO got corrupted with the SAME error message. I couldn't find any solution except a winrar solution that it didn't work. Yesterday I was also working on an animation, this time it didn't have any assets and it was perfectly fine until today when the file got the same error message! I would really like to know if there's any way to recover these files, one is a months worth of work and I would like to know the reason as well. Please help, thank you!

Animate Crashing & Corrupting Files – Any Stable Versions?

Can anyone recommend a stable version of Animate? I have the latest version installed on my computer, but it keeps shutting down unexpectedly. I lost an entire day of work because of it. Even with auto-save set to every minute, it still corrupted my entire file!Adobe only allows installations up to version 23.0.

Unable to Install Adobe Animate 2022 on Windows 10

Movieclip sounds plays even after putting stopall

I have added a movieclip in my project at the first scene. i have added SoundMixer.stopAll(); at the button to go to the different scene and the sound did stop. However when i click another button at different scene the Movieclip sound started playing again. How do i avoid  or fix this.

Adobe Animate CC .fla file has an error while opening

The past month I've been working on an animation and it took a lot of effort and hard work, but suddenly today I tried to open the file and it says "An error occurred opening file "C:\Users\(my name)\Documents\The thing I'm wowking on.fla". When I click "OK", another error pops up "A JavaScript error occurred In file "Publish.jsfl": Error: File 'C:\Users\(my name)\Documents\The thing I'm wowking on.fla' could not be opened"After clicking OK again, Animate then shows me a black screen. The File, Edit, View, and everything else is still there. I tried finding how to fix this issue for the past hour but I eventually gave up.

Errors when trying to test movie

I have a very simple animation that consists of a button as a move clip, than when clicked, goes to a certain frame. When I test this out by going to Control > Test, a Chrome browser opens but nothing shows up. I then open Inspect and check the Console, and there are errors. The errors I'm seeing are "Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token ':'" and "Uncaught ReferenceError: AdobeAn is not defined". This couldnt be a more simple animation with an action so it is very frustrating that Animate cannot work as expected. Why does it add a colon if it breaks the animation from playing? Why does it try to refer to AdobeAn when it also doesn't even work? Does Adobe not test their products? I cannot find any fixes when I research these errors.

Hello! I am trying to use the brushes in the brush library, but when I double click to add to the document, it doesn't do anything. I've looked up tutorials but they're all older and from when Animate had a different UI. Could someone help me with this? Thanks!

Undo Entire JSFL Tool Action In One Step?

Is it possible to undo an entire JSFL tool's script with just one press of CTRL + Z? For example, the following JSFL tool script allows a user to click on a shape and smooth it by running Animate's smoothSelection() method several times.  Each time the smoothSelection() method runs, an extra undo step is added to the history panel. Whenever I open Animate, the hands-on tutorials show up, but when I click on them, the actual tutorial doesn't show up.

Adobe Animate not exporting as mp4

So technically, I have 2 problems here. The first problem is that when I export the final animation, it jumps from 1% to 20%, and then exports the rest. The final product shows that 20% of the video is missing. I've tried again and again, but nothing works. I've restarted the application, uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and even restarted my computer. Nothing works. The second problem happened when I looked into the publish settings at the left of the computer. (I'm using a Mac) I tried to export it as a swf, which worked, but I want to export the whole thing as a mp4. But when I clicked on Export on the top right, and then clicked on Publish, it shows 2 options, one where it SHOULD say "Video (MP4)" and "Animated GIF". But for me, it instead says "Video (3gp)" I got very confused and went to the publish settings to try and fix it, but there is no setting for exporting as an mp4. Does anyone have a solution to both of these problems? Please let me know as soon as poss
