Dear Adobe Developers,Please include a way to increase font size in a future version of Audition. I may be mistaken, but it seems like the latest update actually decreased the font size. It looks like an 8pt font. Sincerely, Going Blind in Los Angeles

I placed a WAV file in Adobe Audition waveform editor (not multitrack). I then trimmed audio. I clicked File - Save — but I meant to click File - Save As. Is there a way to restore the original file (and all the stuff I trimmed? I immediately click CTRL-Z a bunch of times, but I was not able to get it back to the full untrimmed version. I still have Auditon open.

Friends, About a month ago, I upgraded my 2017 iMac from High Sierra to Mojave.About a week ago, I successfully ran Adobe Audition CS6 on the upgraded system.This morning, when I tried to open AA, I got: The application “Adobe Audition CS6.app” can’t be opened.I uninstalled, then reinstalled AA, but the same "can't be opened" message appears.All other apps from Creative Suite 6 appear to be working fine.Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

To start, I have a Tascam 1200 that I use quite regularly and it's coupled with a pair of "Neat Worker Bee" mics, a "fifine" headphone amplifier and recently I switched from Audacity to Audition and that's where my problems began. My computer is a new Dell that was built in April of this year... I think that sums up the hardware and software piece of the equation.  When I start a new project in Audition I select audio track," and when I hit record I notice that I immediately have an external audio source (levels are moving) even when the Tascam is muted. I can leave the mics muted in the Tascam interface and somewhere, somehow, audio is still being recorded. There is no level change when I unmute my mic, so I believe that Audition is somehow using my laptop's mic to record instead of the intended worker bee. For settings, I have gone through the appropriate process in both Windows and the audio portion of Audition, ensuring that the Tascam is selected as the primary

I somehow managed to mess up my workspace and now I cannot see the duration/length of selected audio. How do I get that back? It used to be at the bottom right. But now I only have the meter at the bottom.  How can I get whatever panel shows me exactly the duration (in seconds) I have highlighted/selected. Thanks!

Hi. When I use the multitrack (32-bits, 88.2 kHz, various tracks) on a Macbook Pro 15 laptop (OS Mojave) the tracks jerk when selected and moved ... something that makes any precise movement with the track pad impossible. Any suggestions? With the other computer (and older one with OS Yosemite) it doesn't happen. One thing that drives me crazy ... I use Audition CS6 on both.

I'm fairly new to the world of sound editing, ususally I muddle my way through but this issue has me stumped. It may seem like an odd question, but until I know how to describe what the issue is with this audio, I don't really know where to start with fixing it. To me this sounds like it's distorted or clipping, but when I pop it into Audition, there's nothing to de-clip. Can you help me articulate the issue and help me solve a way to fix it? Thanks!

The application freezes on Intitlaizing Au ul  It will stay like this until  the pc is restarted this then usuallly works ok second time around but can't understand why it won't start up first time.  All the other Apps work fine . Anyone else have this problem ? 

Good Afternoon all - I am experiencing a novel problem with Adobe Audition, where it randomly stops recording (at no set time or even number).  I did find a similar thread in the Community (here: https://community.adobe.com/t5/audition/stops-recording/td-p/9267038?page=1), but my specific problem is a little bit different.  In addition, I tried the solutions there and followed the suggested links, but with no success. Audition will be cranking along as usual, and then suddenly stop recording.  It does it in a unique way.  The time/clock at the bottom continues as usual, the meter continues to display input sound level accurately, and the record button stays illuminated.  Howver, the in-progress waveform disappears - just flatlines.  After I stop the recording, I am able to confirm that there is only 5 minutes or so of audio (whenever the waveform stopped), not the final number indicated on the clock.  Listening back, just as the audio n

Hi all, Just wanted to share something I went through this morning... I upgraded my Waves plugins to v11. When opening Audition's effects rack, the program sees that they are there. However, when I click on an effect I want to add they will not load. Audition's preloaded plugins load fine.  I attempted to enter Plugins Manager to see if I needed to rescan for the new versions. When I clicked Plugin Manager, Audition 'greys' out and locked up. After that, the only way to shut down Audition is to do a hard shut down in Task Manager.  After this a couple times, I uninstalled and reinstalled Audition. Upon re-install Plugin Manager worked fine and all my updated Waves plugins would load. Just wanted to put that out there in case anyone else experiences similar issues. Cheers!

i have Audient id4 sound module installed and have used it with audition 1.5 without issues on my older dell. dell optiplex 7010 mt intel core i7-3770  And the sound is working with my other hardware. But when it comes to recording on audtition it just stalls says 'external error'And then i have to restart audition.I can play tracks on there fine.  The mic works on the new adobe audition but i prefer the older layout for working quicker. Anyone any suggestions?

Hi - I'm new to Audition (just installed today).  My company has a need for an audio editing app that supports very low sample rates (8-16 kHz).  Does the Audition audio engine support user-defined sample rates without automatically upsampling to 44.1/48 kHz like Logic etc?

During this wonderful COVID time, I've become a sound engineer. Which none of my degrees are even remotely connected to. I've been able to connect our MIDAS R32 to Audition for multitrack recording and have labelled all my tracks based on the channels. I saved the template and the labels are there, but the channel input is not. Do I need to remap the inputs each time? Or is there a way to save the inputs as well? Thanks!

I've used the remix tool on a preview track from audio jungle. Now that it's been approved by client, I need to replace the preview file with the licensed file, but I want to keep the remix edit. Is there a way to simply copy/paste the properties of the preview file's remix onto the licensed file? I'm finding that I have to redo the remix, but it isn't matching what I had previously, and isn't as good. I also think this is a waste of time since I perfected the cue's timing already once before. Any solutions to this? Thanks!

Audition Developers,   I have been using Audition for a while now in dialog editing and wanted to share a few of thoughts.   I use the silence feature found in Effects, but there is no hot key that I can find to speed up the process in inserting “silence” other than using the mouse.  It would be a great feature to add a hot key for “silence”.  I know that you are already using the Command S key (MAC) for saving,  so a different hot key would be needed to insert silence.   When editing in the Waveform mode, it would be nice to have the Effects Rack active as it is in the Mulitrack Form.  That way a person can keep track of effects used in the Wavefrom mode and never have to use Mulitrack for a simple dialog edit.   I really enjoy the effects and plug-ins you have developed for Audition.  I find that I’m using it more now for straight Audio editing as well as Video editing.   Thanks for your continued creativity and development of this gr

I have Auditio CS5 for MacOS buyed in 2013 and until today has work perfectly even in High Sierra & Mojave, But now I can't open de app and show me de message "There's A Problem Ask to the developer". Adobe does not offer technical service to this version. I can't open my sessions and works. I try reinstaled the app but make the same problem.I have Audition CS5 working in two Macs with High Sierra & Mojave (iMAc & MacBook Pro), and does the same problem. Help!!! 

Hi, I'm working in 12.1.  When I opened up Adobe Audition, all my work on the timeline is gone. I saved it several times and I always save before closing. The original audio files are there under "files", but none of the timeline work is there.  I was working in 'multitrack'.  I've even opened up a back up session of the same file and there's nothing there in regards to the timeline either.  Can someone help me to a) find the timeline work if it still exists, b) ensure this doesn't happen again?  I mean, what did I do wrong if I've saved my project multiple times and even before closing?  Unless I'm doing something totally wrong and it's here somewhere?  Truth be told, I'm newer to audtion, but I'm worked in premiere a ton. Interface is similar, so not sure what I'm doing wrong if anything.

I record all my Podcast Episodes directly in Audition, Multitrack.But recently, every time that I export the file, the host sound get mute.I'm 24h trying everything possible to recover the audio for my episode tomorrow. Hello, my Adobe Audition is the latest version, and everytime I try to use the Adaptable Noise Reduction effect it gets its background red, and do not work properly, giving my track a weird noise. The following image illustrates it.  What should I do to fix it?
