Audition

I have 23 tracks in a Multitrack session. The Auto-scroll navigation (centred scroll) works very well left-to-right. I can't find a way to auto-scroll downwards at the same time. On my 27-inch screen, I can zoom out to see all 23 tracks. That's fine. But on my 13-inch laptop I can only zoom out to see 16 tracks. I am running version 13.0.10.32 Is there a way to automate downward scroll in a Multitrack session during playback?

Hello, I ran into a problem.1) Created a multitrack in Au (it is important that the track is divided into pieces)2) When exporting from Audition (xml)3) In Pr I get: (the sound from zero second is not separated. But the sound is stereo, as in Au)4) When exporting to FCP Xml Interchange Format: 5)В Pr получаю: (разбитый звук по кускам как в Au но МОНО!):6) In the project settings - stereo. but the sound itself is MONO.7) I change it in the sound settings (put stereo, left and right channel)😎I receive a notification:A warning will appear: Base clips in use. However, these changes will be applied the next time you edit the clips in the sequence. Proceed? Hallo I'm new in here, and i'm just gonne try my luck here.My brother had an interview with a company, where he recorded it using the build in recording software in windows.The thing is, in this recording you can hear my brother.But the company being interviewed not so much. I have been trying all night to find a way so you at least can hear the voices from the company.But the only thing i hear is something like static noice, or some unclear audio. Before i'm telling him the bad news, i wanna have some more skilled person with audio editing.To tell me if there are anything to be done here. He need this for he's exam, therefor i'm willing to pay (Using paypal) for anyone who can make it usable (not sure if it even allowed to ask for this kind of help here, but are sure hope so).The link for the audio files is saved here. https://mega.nz/folder/bFoVUT5Y#NskahbAitYsKJ75cPAsILQ There is the original, and then there are a sample.

I am trying to record a Zoom interview using Audition on my Windows 10 PC.  I can hear my audio through my mic but can't seem to record my interviewee.  I'm not able to record music being played on my pc, youtube video audio etc.  I have looked in the forum but can't seem to find an answer to help me that's remotely recent. I am very much a beginner so deperate for easy to understand help!  #beginner  #veryconfused

I can't switch fader banks or change parameters in Behringer Editor software with Behringer X-touch Compact controller. I have it all set up in the AA controler prefferences for mackie and mapped to x-touch. Only volume, mute, channel select and solo work. And when I turn knob 15 on controller to switch fader banks, it only jumps to the next channel and that's all.So it is sort of working but not fully. It seems that I need to assign buttons in the Editor, but there is no option for that. The editor is looking at the x-touch as it should be. I can't find any support at all for the Compact, only for tht x-touch (not Compact model). Thanks for any help.

Hey! I have just got a rodecaster and started recording multitrack recordings. When I drag the audio file into Audacity it seperate the audio into separate tracks but in Audition it is put in a strange mono waveform (see picture). Is there a way of importing multitrack files into Audition? Thanks! 

This just started happening in the past few weeks. Every couple of minutes, Audition freezes and I have to close and restart it. I have not done anthing different or installed new plugins or anything. I saw one thread about freezing up, but tghe solution in there about saving effect presets or something didn't seem applicable to me. What can I do to fix this? Thanks! Ken

Hi guys, I run a Dell XPS 15 (2018) 1TB SSD 16 GB RAM 64-bit Windows 10 operating system, and I'm having trouble recording my podcast. I usually have my laptop connected to the Dell XPS dock via USB-C and the dock also has a 4K monitor connected to it via HDMI. In terms of audition, I record in multitrack mode, and I'm usually recording myself and another guest on my Roland Rubix 44. What I usually do is I open the audio hardware, change the drive to ASIO and then find the Roland Rubix for the output and input. Then I arm each track onto a Mono track Line 1 and 2. I put my computer in airplane mode last time to see if it would make any difference, and it didn't... it still stopped recording a few times during a one hour conversation. It has been so incredibly frustrating as it really interupts the flow of the conversation and it's embarrassing with my guests. I was wondering if you could recommend some things to try to resolve this issue? I have a feeling it ha

My computer shutdown unexpectedly while I was working on a session. When it booted back up, I went to recover my project (I have it set to backup every 3 minutes to creative cloud). I noticed that the most recent backup was from 4 hours prior. (this screenshot of the creative cloud app was taken 11 minutes after restart, so the two at the top are post-shutdown). I had the session open continuously during that 4-hour period, during which I saved it many times manually. Yet upon restart, it had reverted to the 4-hour old version and the most recent creative cloud backup was also 4 hours old. I was fortunately able to recover the session from an icloud backup, but I would like to know why this happened so as to avoid it happening again in the future.  

I'm still running 2019 because I can't get 2020 to install and run properly. It looks mostly blank, white, and I can't click on anything because it's all invisible. The secondary menus don't appear, nada. I've tried selecting a different workspace, etc. Nothing works. It also seems to have a window inside a window, which you can see best by looking at the very bottom left corner. I can't close off any interior window, and even when I try to open a session created in an earlier version, the screen looks the same. This is becoming super frustrating, especially as I have work to get done. Help!   

Hello,I have Audition CC, why when I open an mp3, it first opens it in mp3 and then converts it to wav?This is a inconvenient, because I want to work with the file in mp3 and converting it to wav implies a waste of time.Where can I remove that option?Thank you so much for your attention.Greetings,amoraj

Adobe Audition latest update 13.0.9 crashes on start up. Re instaliing 13.0.9 do not help   Re installing old version 13.0.8 work fine after removong 13.0.9 and installing 13.0.8 Will stack on 13.0.8 as it works fine Os Win 10  v2004  

Every time Windows does an update, I lose the connection between my microphone and the Audition program.  Where do I go to make the changes that will reconnect me?  Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Everyone.Inside Audition, I select the Clip, and I go to File- Export- Multitrack Mixdown- Entire Session. But I don't see any MP4 on the List.I can easily Export from Audition to Premiere, and Export It as H264 and It works. But I want to do It directly from AuditionAlso, Is this a correct way to Export a single Clip ?Thanks.

I am trying to export a multitrack mixdown that is almost an hour long. It's big, I get it, but I cannot for the life of me get past the bad allocation error. I've tried exporting it in bits, I've changed the available RAM for Audition, and I've tried restarting, etc. I don't know what to do, please help me.

Adobe Audition suddenly stopped playing a video. But it loads the video when scrubbing the track, or while stopped. I honestly have no idea where to even start debugging this because my workflow, files, and computer are all the same. It was working, then halfway through this project, it just suddenly stopped.  I'll muddle along through this project, but it completely messes up my workflow. I'm hoping that someone can at the least suggest something to check to fix this problem. I'd think it was a button I pressed, but I can't think of a workflow where this would be a feature.  Thank you in advance for any of the help you can provide. I've tried rebooting and reopening the project. And that did nothing. 

Almost everytime I use audition, the program is adding waveform where there should be none, or cutting waveform where it should be.  Example attached of waveform being added where there should be none.  Thanks for your feedback gang!

Hi. I used Audition 1.5 many years ago. I have the original disc, serial number and key for it, but my current laptop has no disc drive. I know that we're long past the time when Adobe supported this product, but I'm not intereted in the Cloud versions of the product. I'm on a Windows 10 64 bit laptop. Anyone have any suggestions? thanks!Ruby

Hey Guys, This seems simple but idk how to delete the deadspace at the end of my track. Audio/music stops at 36:39, but keeps going with deadspace to about 38:57. How do I delete this deadspace? Thanks for all y'all's help!

I have been editing an audiobook using Audition CC2019.  There are 52 chapters.  The audio levels with each chapter vary but are generally consistent.  ACX -- the publishing company for audiobooks -- has a requirement that all submissions have an RMS value between -18db and -23db, with a peak no higher than -3db, and a sound floor of -60.I've run a batch process through the Match Loudness panel, and get a consistent peak of -3.5db, just below the ceiling, but my RMS Values are all too high, ranging from 26 to over -30db.Anybody with experience in Audiobooks out there with a method that will bring this audio into compliance with ACX?Thanks for your help.

I uninstalled and reinstalled a couple of times but it still ended up looking like this. I tried messing around with the view and tried different workspaces(nothing changed). I even tried to check the general setting in the preferences but it's blank; as you can see in the image. Everything in my device manager is up to date and so is my computer. The other Adobe apps are woking fine, it's just Audition that I have a problem with. Am I missing something?
