hii'm running audition 2017 last versionis there a way to have the last flac update 1.3.2 ?they are located here C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Audition CC 2017\Plug-Ins\Amioand seeing that Fraunhofer AAC is now Open Source Fraunhofer AAC Encoder (fdk-aac) , is there a hope to see included in audition?about amio would be better have more information at least we can use update encoder and new encodersthanks

I have a massive problem in Premiere but assuming that both programs use the same audio engine someone here might help me:Unfortunately my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 does not work as expected. So I'm looking for a new audio hardware (internal or external) which works 100% reliable with Premiere Pro CC 2017. In principle I need just one high quality Mic input with phantom power. Should not cost more than $500. Thank you in advance for all inputs.

I want to record two mic's at the same time. I am using a Macbook Pro with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 and two Rode M5 mic's.

I'm pretty confident there's no hope of making this tape "sound good". I'm hoping, though, that possibly it might be gotten to the point where somebody who really cared about the speakers could, with concentration, hear what they were saying; or perhaps that somebody willing to suffer for a while could manage to make a transcription of what's said.  (It was recorded on a small portable cassette recorder 40 years ago; from the changes that the noise goes through I think it must have been patched into the room sound system, rather than relying on the built-in mic; then it was transferred with a decent stereo cassette deck into a Zoom H2n digital recorder, and now I'm trying to deal with it.)  (Most of the tape is much better than this; whatever was causing it, probably problems patching into the house sound feed, got resolved after a few minutes.  I'm trying to rescue what I can from those few minutes.)I can just about hear the voices under the noise playing it straight; I

Hi all.I've recently starting working with Audition and I'm loving it.  I've learned how to record and use effects and take my voice overs to the next level with this amazing program.My one question that is still giving me trouble is this "Is there a way to record with the effects that i want to use turned on so that as I'm recording I'm hearing the effects working through my headphones or monitor"  I would like to hear the sound as i record my voice overs as opposed to always recording and then adding the effects and sounds afterword.Thanks in advance for your help....RM

I just saw Adobe Voco and nearly fell out of my chair!!! I have been sleuthing around the internet looking for a method to try it out. I have been an Adobe supporter since the days of Photoshop 4 and I am pretty heavy into audio using Audition with Native Instruments Maschine... I want to try using Adobe Voco against my song lyrics for some tracks I am creating.If anyone Adobe is reading this... PICK ME!!! Hello,I need help with separating music from a movie trailer, I have looked up videos on how to but none are showing the results that I so desire. Could some one give me advice on what I can do or let me know if I have to go through another app in order to separate the music from the rest of the trailer? Specifically the trailer is the new power rangers movie trailer, and I am trying to take out the Kanye West song but leave in the rest of the lines that the characters say.

When using the menu mix down session to new file i get a bad result. The quality of the sound is simply bad.When using export mixdown the problem does not occur.I have used mix down many times before without problems. I am editing on MAC 10.12.4.I hope someone can help!

Good morning,It appears in the latest version of Windows 10/RealTek Drivers the mixer 'StereoMix' has been removed, which appears to stop Audition being able to record webstream sound and direct local media. Does anyone have a workaround for this problem? With ThanksJason

Hello, I am helping my friend edit a film he made about a year ago and things have been going great for the most part but I realized that when he shot the film originally he didn't use any microphone other than the camera.  I use audition and I know certain elements of audio editing, but currently running into problems such as background noise hiss, dialogue sounds quiet and a few other problems.  I removed the the background hiss but now it sounds echoey and not real.  So long story short does anyone have any advice to try and get normal sound given the circumstances?

Hi,I tried to add FX automation to the track in multitrack session. I added the FX and then below, I chose the RACK MIX envelope and added some keyframe points. During playing the mix the envelope didn't work. I can only use a straight bar (with no Keyframes at it) to set the regular proportion of RACK FX MIX. But I can't set the evenlope that changes the RACK MIX propotion in time.What is wrong? Or what did I do wrong?Cheers.

Hi, I have problems with exporting entire multitrack session to a wave file with VST 2 or 3 effects added. After export the VST effects simply arent included (for example EQs don't work).Of course the built in Adobe Effects work fine.I tested it with the full licensed Waves Native Pack 9.1 (VST3) and Focusrite Scarlett EQ (VST2) which I got with my Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 audio interface. They don't work in the track fx section and also in the clip fx section.Please help!Cheers

New to Audition CC 2017.  I've been using Audition since it was "Cool Edit Pro".  I settled on Audition 3 and up till recently it has worked perfectly.   New Daw and I'm ready to try the latest version. (kicking and screaming of course)   Question: is there any way to preview audio before you load it to the program?  for example,  in Audition 3 when you highlighted a file it would start playing.  It was called Preview Playback device.  But I don't see that with CC.Thanks in advance for your helpRob

I want to find and fix places where there is clipping.The manual describes a "mark audio" effect "which process all selected audio, diagnostics scan for problematic or silent areas, and then let you choose which to address.It says to click "scan" in the diagnostics panel. This fills a list with regions of audio. It says if I want to mark clicking or clipping right-click and select create markers. After this it puts in markers, the first couple of which had no clipped audio near them.Am I doing something wrong or does it not work?

I recently downloaded the 2017 release of Audition. When I went to use it today I could not find the the panel that has the record, playback, ect., buttons on it. I looked and looked until I finally uninstalled and downloaded a new copy.The new on doesn't have it either. What don't I see?

Hi everyone,Not sure what the hell is causing this, but my vocal recordings in the waveform grid have suddenly started playing back sound like crap, eg/ telephone bandwidth and at half volume!!Has anyone else experienced this?? Hello, I have recorded the vocal of the song by verses, 3 doubles of each. Then I selected and compiled the best pieces, but they sound rather different by timbre and loudness. I have applied the option Smooth Vocal, but it is still noticeable.Is there an option in Adobe where the vocal clips could be somehow smoothed by timbre? A sort of automatic equalization... If it can be done only manually - how could it be done?

First of all I should mention that while I've used other Adobe products extensively, I'm quite new to Audition and audio in general. What I'm trying to do is cancel out some background noise from some test audio I captured. I set up my Senheiser MKE 600 to capture the sounds of my feet while music was playing distantly in the background (I'm mimicking the scenario that will happen for a live dance video next week). I then recorded another file with the mic in the same position with the same music in the background, just without any other sounds/movements. I used Plural Eyes 3.5 to sync the audio, exported to Premiere Pro, then exported to Audition. I selected the track with just the background noise and inverted it. When I try to play both tracks back, there is no difference. I tried muting/unmuting the inverted background track as the sound FX track continued to play but there was absolutely no change. I tried the same thing in Audacity with the same results. From what I understand th
