It's 2020, Can we get a larger step size for each "click" of the wheel for the horizontal scrolling now?I understand that you can drag an orange box to navigate but sometime I just need to move a bit to the side but the box gets very tiny when zoomed in and can sometime leads to unintentionally expand instead of moving it which also waste my time. This problem has been here since 2011 and still not fix yet. PLEASE I beg you. fix it.

Cuando grabo en waveform mode no puedo escuchar. Como hago para solucionarlo?
I've just switched from CC6 to CC. The first problem I'm noticing is that Rack Mix is not working right. I have a track with a reverb in effect. And even when I turn the Rack Mix down to 0%, the effect is still going strong. In other cases, when I manage to get it to obey the Rack Mix values through automation, it's way off. Like, I have to move the keyframes a good 30 seconds later than when I want them to take effect. It's just crazy, and really seems to be not working right.Am I alone? Am I just not doing something right?

I need to find a way to ripple delete without selecting part of the waveform by clicking and dragging. The last time I edited a project in Audition, I got pains all the way up my arm through the constant dragging. All other editing software I have used would allow me to cut out bits of audio by selecting the beginning with a shortcut key, selecting the end with another and hitting delete. Super quick! But I can't seem to do that with Audition, despite much Googling. This also allows me to be very precise with my edits, which isn't so easy with click & drag. I can use markers to mark the in and out points, but I can't see how to select between those markers so I can delete the section. How do people edit quickly in Audition without getting RSI? I need to find a solution.
Was mache ich falsch?
For context, I am using a Dell XPS 15 9520 laptop and a RODECaster to record. Audition has been working fine for me until today. When I opened Audition, it told me that my audio preferences had changed and asked if I was okay with that. I said yes because I had just turned on my RODECaster and figured it was switching from the computer microphone to that. Now, when I hit record, the cursor moves at a glacial pace and doesn't pick up any actual audio. I have no levels either. I do not believe it is an issue with my microphone/RodeCaster because I have levels there and recording works fine in Audacity. It also continues even if I do switch back to my laptop mic/speakers. I tried switching from MME to WASAPI based on other advice here and that fixed the recording issue but my audio was instead distorted. I've also restarted/shut down my computer and uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no success. I appreciate any help you can offer!
We have been using Goldwave and the setting that works with our system reflects the highlighted below. Can anyone recommend what changes I would need to make to Audition?
Has anyone found a way to smooth out this type of raspy voice issue on the low end of certain words? Specically where he says "project". Any advice much appreciated!!https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/9lu9e48gmro17cdwr1erm/Narration-Raspy-Voice.wav?rlkey=va2zldwyvs0onzc52b6paquqs&dl=0
when i try to get my sequence from premiere pro to audition to edit AU wont open.
Need help.I'm exporting a mixdown from a multi track session. There are no track superposed on each other, just replacing some part with fixes, so no audio is superposed on each other. However, the resulting waveform is clipped at -12 dbNo effects applied. See the captures of the waveform before and after exporting. There's no conversion, using the same settings as the source files. What could go wrong?
Hi! My first time using Audition i saved the changes i did in the program. I was not pleased with the set up so i deleted thar file and went back to pick up the original file on my SD stick on the computer. I couldn´t find the original file, only the file thar i worked with with all the changes. How do i recover my original file?
Hi guys. I work a lot with synchronizing dubbed film audio tracks from TV/Streaming versions to Blu-ray, but in order to do so, I need to stretch both tracks vertically a lot in order to see peaks clearly. It's not possible to see them clearly while working with 5.1 tracks, so what I have to do is to first convert them to stereo, then do the sync job, and then do the masochistic thing of editing the .sesx file in order to replace source files with the original 5.1 tracks and trick Audition into thinking it was a 5.1 project in the first place.I really want to avoid doing this masochistic job every time, but I just can't see peaks well enough if the tracks are 5.1 because they take a lot of vertical space, and my monitor isn't that big vertically. How can I hide all channels but the first two (L and R) temporarily while working on 5.1 tracks?
I am using Audition to batch convert m4a files to mp3. The m4a files are encoded as follows according to VLC. Codec: MPEG AAC Audio (mp4a) Type: Audio Channels: Stereo Sample rate: 44100 Hz Bits per sample: 32 AAC extension: SBRWhen converting Audition takes the sample rate down to 24000 Hz even if I explicitly set it to 44100 Hz using Export Settings. It would be nice to keep the original sampling rate but I cannot see how to do it. Would Media Encoder do a better job of this or is Audition using it in the background to begin with? Thanks for the help, Steve.
Hi all, I keep getting this error message when I hit the record button in Audition. Please help!!
Hi Folks, I've had an old version of Audition for years and I love it. I downloaded the newest version a couple of months ago, and I'm even happier with it. I have one thing I cannot figure out. Suddenly, my cursor marker, when in a blank space of a track, looks like a dumbell with a red line through it. How do I get rid of that and just have the regular cursor marker like before?
I need to know what I'm doing wrong. I last used audition with a PC years ago. I have a Behringer Xenyx802 Mixer connected to my iMac using a NT1 5th generation mic connected through XLR cable into the mixer and the mixer is a usb connection. I have been working for hours on this and the mic and instrumental record at the same time. I spent a lot of time and money ordering cables, new studio set up and was excited to get on Adobe Audition again but theres just no solution. It appears I'd be better off just plugging a $30 usb mic directly into my mac a doing it like that instead of a recording artist. I've tried all the outputs and inputs channel mapping. I've searched for the answer for hours it appears nobody else on planet earth has ever encountered this dilemma, or maybe Audition isnt the right software for reording music anymore. Does anyone know how to record on the mic through a mixer wearing headphones, you know like what a singer does using this software?
I have an audio clip that was recorded with a device in my pocket. There is a lot of "shuffle" noise over the conversation. I can hear talking, but not well enough to make out the words. Can somebody explain the steps to remove just the shuffle noise and enhance the human voices?
I'm working on an .sesx file with two tracks (and two audio files) that both require a lot of close cuts. Audition has been crashing fairly frequently, so I've been saving almost every time I make a minor edit – something like twenty to thirty manual saves in the last twelve hours. Today, it crashed, and I chose to reopen the files in the dialogue box that came up. All of my work in the last few days is gone. Audition brought up a much, much older version of the .sesx file. This has happened before, so I searched for other versions of the .sesx – and none of them are even close to the most recent version of the file. I've lost days of work. Autosave is set to every three minutes, and although I wasn't relying on it anyway, none of my autosaves are up to date. But all my manual saves have been for nothing! I just spent an hour talking to an Adobe specialist who told me to search for backups and save to the Cloud (would that have actually fixed anything, or would I just ha
I got a new pc on which I want to install my old audition cs6 version. The new pc has the new windows version. When I try to install the setup file the installation programm gives an error (validation problem). Does anyone know a way to solve this problem or has a solution for it? Please let me know.
I been looking high n low lol not sure if adobe have the option to put the tempo for the beat in or the key for the best. Any suggestions
This is very strange. I was matching the loudness of the clips in a mutitrack project separately in the Match Loudness effects window, before the mix - when I noticed few issues:1. One clip's volume is definitely lower by about -2dB than the rest, and yet it is shown as having the same -16 dB loudness. It sounds lower, it shows lower in the meter - but not in the effect's window.2. Any changes to the volume of any clip I make with the "envelope bar" (whatever it's called ) which have an immediate effect in playback, are NOT picked up by the Match Loudness effect. Whether I push it up or down, the volume is read at the same level.3. Those manual volume changes on selected clips however ARE picked up in the mixdown and reflected in the mixed file. What is going on here?... is this a glitch?.....I also noticed that when at times I also process my audio on Auphonic after matching loudness in Audition, it corrects it by about 0.45 dB (every time).Which one does
All my podcast recordings have always been in stereo and they always will, which is what I want. Unfortunately, Zoom has recently changed this without notice ( one of the many reasons I'm switching to another remote recording platform), and my two recent guest interviews were recorded in mono - which I only discovered when started editing in my Audition today. I believe that it is possible to convert a mono file to stereo in Audition, but the instructions I saw online talk about blocking and unblocking the "empty channel" - and the problem is that I don't have an empty channel in the audio waveform- there is just one channel. However the sound comes through both the Left and Right channel in my headphones. I need to have my podcast in stereo, as it includes some clips that are in stereo (and need to be in stereo) - like music, and my standard intro and outro I simply add to each episode project. So now I've got two guest interviews recorded in mono which I need to
Can someone instruct me on what I am doing wrong because I install my auto tune unlimited bundle to my PC but when I try to scan the files so I can use the plug-ins in Adobe audition for some reason it seems like it doesn't read or pick up on the plug-inS
