When I search for a keyword, the results are highlighted with a rather dark blue. This means black letters with dark blue highlight - which makes it difficult to read. Can we change that? I've attached a screenshot.
In Bridge -> Output you can activate the output of file names with or without extension. In some cases, especially if the files to be output are in collections, it would be very useful if the associated paths could also be optionally output. An additional option should be that only the last part of the path from which the paths differs is output. Means: The same pathes (seen from the root) should optionally be able to be hidden, so that, for example, the entire folder structure is not exposed when being passed on in the form of a PDF to external persons.
Hola a todos, creo que en Bridge uno debería poder ordenar los videos por duración, o sea, en la vista de lista debería poder agregarse una columna con la duración de los videos. Gracias.
So, I have an extensive keyword list and I have discovered its actually quite difficult to find the right ones most of the time, if not all the time. You scroll through and where is that "Public Transport" one and where is "Cake" again? So I end up scrolling up and down needlessly. Sure, perhaps it's me, I'm getting old. Still, the way it is now is not visually "appealing" and it is like looking at 10.000 movies posters on Netflix trying to find one to watch.I suggest that each new letter start keyword get a space in between or the corresponding letter as a separator. Or perhaps get a BOLD lettering. That way its way easier to visually skim the list and figure out where youre supposed to go. What I have done as a temporary "fix" is to create a new keyword with the corresponding letter and then some stars and then the letter repeating 3 times afterwards. That way I get a "line" between each letter. A ********** AAAB ********** BBBF ********** FFF
The spacing in the Content tab is too large.Wouldn't it be better to let users adjust it themselves? For example, users with 4K monitors might prefer wider spacing, while those with FHD monitors may want it to be more compact.
Stop or pause button for immediate hold of generating previews, during the process. There are a few cases it would be very nice to stop this process. For example in a folder with many large TIFF files, especially if clicked on by accident. Bridge will continue endlessly, or grey out when clicked on again.Certainly if this folder is on an external backup NAS over the network. Maybe there are other background processes, this would be useful for. However, this can hardly be called a background process, since Bridge is effectively inaccessible.
I use Bridge and the attached Camera Raw to most of my image editing.(Iuse them as my 'Digital Darkroom' before any possibe editing in Photoshop which I do not always find neccessary to my work).A part of my workflow in Camera Raw is to create a number of 'Snapsjhts' during editing. In both Camera Raw and on the Bridge thumbnails - I very much miss some kind of notification symbol, that indicates to me that there is a number of snapshots related to the specific image. Will be very useful to have ...RegardsKeld Vinther
Bridge automated photo stacking is simply a painful existence. I run a real estate media company and we are shooting thousands of images per day. Our workflow includes stacking 5 image brackets for file management and organization while culling. Bridge's "Auto Stack HDR" is effectively useless. It NEVER works correctly and ithas no customization for stacking parameters. Lightroom at least has a "Stack By Capture Time" feature which is decent but lightroom itself is not a great choice for file manageent. We NEED the abilty to set custom parameters for auto stacking. All of the data needed is in the meta data. We need options for stacking via Capture TimeSequenceEVExposure CompensationFile TypeCamera Serial Number Any other meta data that may be relevant. Additionally, Please make selecting the WHOLE STACK the standard and selecting the top image require the option key. I can't think of a reason that someone would want to drag the
Dear Bridge team,A core part of culling is knowing what’s inside a folder at a glance. Please add an option to generate a composite thumbnail (first 1–4 files or a user-chosen “cover”) for each folder in the Content panel—similar to ACDSee/XnView.Why it mattersFaster navigation through deep job trees (weddings, RAW backups, project shots).Reduces unnecessary double-clicks and disk scans.Keeps users inside Bridge instead of switching to 3rd-party browsers just for visual folders.Optional controls that would delight users:Number of items in collage (1, 4, adaptive).Option to pin any file as “folder cover”.Toggle in View / Preferences so purists can keep plain icons.Thank you for considering! Bridge is already my DAM of choice; this small UX boost would make it perfect for daily high-volume workflows.Kind regards,Edo
Hi,I download the plugin on Adobe Stock for AVIF/AV1 format compatiblity for Photoshop but i mainly use Adobe Bridge for managing and searching for images for projects. How comes that AVIF format not supported into Adobe Bridge?Could we have a plugin also for Bridge please? Thanks.
It would be an awesome quality of life change for bridge to be able to display the previes for blender files!
The re-write of Bridge, in my opinion, is the worst software product release of all time. And I have been a personal computer user since Vic-20. I disliked it then, I dislike it more now. It still lacks much of the features of the old one. It certainly in every area performs WORSE than the original version. On Mac and PC both.Multi-monitor support is terrribleMulti-window support is a joke; it didn't even have it to begin with. (Really Adobe? that's a feature?)Keyboard shortcuts from original are either missing or don't work. I can look them up in the new fancy keyboard shortcut UI (totally a waste IMO - looks nice, terrible to use) and they are there, but they do not work. You look up shortcuts and they don't work. Nice~!Slideshow is so super broken - I don't even try to use it anymore. Being able to switch between thumbnails and your workspace layout doesn't exist anymoreIt's so super slow. Beyond ridiculous slooooow. It is so bad (and don't get me wrong, Photoshop has a lot of a
I would like to open RAW-files directly into Photoshop without going through Camera Raw (ACR). Actual Result: this is only possible with shift double clicking using the mouse Expected Result: a keyboard shortcut (e.g. Shift-Enter) or the option to add such a keyboard shortcut
I'm still recovering from the horrors of the Bridge V13 disasterous UI redesign, but I've learned to deal with many of the remaining issues - though the product has never been as useful or efficient as before... V13 was The Bridge Killer. One thing that is still a huge pain (driving me nuts today especially) is the file path bar should live BELOW the content tabs. Additionally the rest of that bar AND the search bar should live on that same level.so it feels like the tab is actually associated with the pathso searches for each tab are unique and what is shown applies to its own individual tabso if you pull a tab out into a separate window you can tell what the heck is going on with that tab. Currently it's just thumbnails out in space with nothing... (See attached image).
1. Please add a 'shortcut' key for 'close a single content panel' (ex., Ctrl+W). Every time I have to click on the '3 lines' option key to close one panel. That is annoying... 2. I wish the file name greyed out when the 'Ctrl+x' cut key was applied.
(1) The only cache option is to save the cache to a folder in my C drive.(2) However, there was an option to save cache to folders PLURAL. That is, each folder of photos had the cache saved to that individual folder. The difference / benefit was as follows:(a) I have over 700 GB of photo files, held in over 800 different folders (that helps me to find photos easily), and the total cache is 99,000 files totalling 70 GB. So if I want to refresh the cache, it can be a very slow process as the whole cache is updated - even when much of the cache is the same because I haven't changed the photos. And I also save the cache to an external hard drive, so a 70 GB save also very long.(b) The cache for most of the folders doesn't change once I've processed my photos to their final state. So the only cache change that occurs i
When using export presets in Bridge, it would be useful if you could create a preset that would create a subfolder, but prompt you for the subfolder name at the time of export. This way, one preset could contain all the parameters except the subfolder name, which (for me at least) changes with each project.
While I can see .ssg and .sbar files in Bridge, I cannot see other formats like the Substance modeler .smod file format, as well as as common format that are common to plenty of 3D software, like .usd, .mtl and .obj Thank you!
Some basic zooming ("fit to view" + pinch/scrollwheel) would be nice in the Preview Panel. I work on relatively small images, and the lack of "fit"/zooming keeps bugging me particularly on Mac Retina screens. I'm not sure what is the reason there is only this small magnifying glass thing (found very little use for it myself), and would definitely prefer zooming the whole image myself instead. I'm sure both can exist at the same time though. Full Screen Preview supports zooming, but then it doesn't support custom keyboard shortcuts.
I use Bridge during online order sessions with my clients. I use Filmstrip when comparing similar images. Several versions ago, I was able to change the rating on one image in Filmstrip without affecting the other images. Can we please get that function back? Thank you!
Hi, Adobe Bridge team.Currently, when using the export button in the ACR view, there is an option for us to enable HDR output, as shown below. However, when multiply-select photos in the Adobe Bridge grid view, and then right-click to export, the HDR output option is missing, which makes it impossible to batch-export JPEG photos that has HDR Gain Map metadata. The only workaround to do this is to import those photos to Lightroom CC and then use Lightroom to batch-export the JPEG photos with HDR Gain Map, but it's not convenient, as this workaround creates two different versions of the photos: both in my local storage and in Lightroom CC. Hoping to add the support for batch exporting JPEG with HDR Gain Map. Thanks!
in Bridge, Review Mode is unfortunately useless: if you select more than 4 photos, it displays a carousel and it's virtually impossible to get a clue of the photos you are going to take a look at. in Lightroom Classic, Survey Mode does the most intuitive thing: it tiles all the photos you select so you can, you know, review all the photos you are currently reviewing. Can the same layout be implemented?
Hi there! Could it be possible when uploading RAW photos onto Bridge that have been taken in a B&W profile to be maintained in that way?Although you've configured your camera and all profiles to show how your pictures would look like in B&W, Bridge automatically surpasses all these ticks and leaves them in colour, making the selection of the ones to be finally kept (and developed in Cr/Ps) somewhat cumbersome... :-(( Thanks in advance.
(Also see Stephen Marsh's post in the Photoshop Ecosystem topic)I'd like to see the XMP Plus "Data Mining" field added as a selectable parameter in Bridge's Metadata panel. It allows users to allow or disallow data mining of the image, such as for generative AI training. Other XMP Plus fields, such as the "Licensor" field are already supported in Bridge. Information from the IPTC can be found here: https://www.iptc.org/std/photometadata/documentation/userguide/#_data_miningAnd the Specification can be found here: https://ns.useplus.org/LDF/ldf-XMPSpecification#DataMining
Bonjour, Pourquoi n’y a-t-il pas de détection visage sur les photos comme dans organizer de photoshop element ? Cela serait pratique pour classer les photos et identifier les personnes sur celles-ci
